Blink just released this awesome tutorial on YouTube by

Grateful for the feedback regarding the Bitcoin merchant adoption at Tax Free Norway, Oslo Airport,

✈️

Some clarifications:

1. Ref. the official press release, it’s only one shop, the duty free shop, Tax Free Norway upon arrival at Oslo airport, which accepts freedom money through

   npub155m2k8m…2cdcvg

   and

   npub13ljnkd6…mfcfhw

   ⚡️

2. Tax Free Norway, Oslo airport only accepts sats through the lightning network and not Bitcoin-onchain payments.

3. Regarding “Click & Collect:

From the press release Oslo airport Gardemoen , December 17, 2025:

“Travel Retail Norway (TRN), which operates tax-free shops at Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, and Trondheim airports, is now introducing bitcoin payments for customers using Click & Collect upon arrival at Oslo Airport.

This marks the first step in a planned rollout of digital payment alternatives.

This option currently applies only to Click & Collect upon arrival at Oslo, but TRN is considering expanding to other stores and payment formats.”

Great question,

🐜 What is ants by

?

From README.me:

“ants: advanced notes and text search.

An opinionated search interface for nostr.

ants is the search and discovery interface I always wanted to have. It has all kinds of search modifiers, can do reverse image lookups, and will not shy away from throwing events back at you that it can't even render yet.

The basic philosophy is to always stay in search and to embrace false positives, i.e. rather show too much than too little. But we still want to be able to filter out nonsense and spam. It's very much a work-in-progress. It doesn't have many WoT features yet, for example.

The current version is not very performant and will probably crash often.

But it's useful to at least one person already, which is me (red. nostr:nprofile1qqsxu35yyt0mwjjh8pcz4zprhxegz69t4wr9t74vk6zne58wzh0waycpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8w6twv5hsvd8un6)”

As Bitcoin adoption grows, traditional financial institutions will continue to package bitcoin into familiar custodial products.

The temptation to take shortcuts will rise.

But bitcoin’s real innovation isn’t about fitting into the old system— it’s about building a new one where you are in control.

Step 1: Self Custody.

If you want to practice "Don't trust, verify" and run a Bitcoin full node,

sincerely believes that the best way is to run it on StartOS from

AKA Sovereign Computing.

Why? StartOS from nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll is fully open source:

https://github.com/Start9Labs/start-os

• You can buy a plug and play Start9 Server from their web shop. The 2025 Server now got a 45% faster CPU. You just plug the Start9 node into your WiFi and electricity, and it works.

• You can also build a DIY #Bitcoin full node from e.g. a Dell Optiplex computer and install StartOS. The Optiplex got good enough hardware for running a self sovereign and self custodial Lightning Node⚡

If you’re looking for a video tutorial on how to:

1. upgrade to a newer Start9 server
