I'm trying to connect with NWC from zeus v0.11.3 to my lnbits node. Zeus says "Error connecting to your node". The debug log in lnbits says:

The block weight limit is the spam filter.

I think the notion that the blockchain is Bitcoin's database is wrong.

• the UTXO set is the database
• the blocks take the database from one consistent state to the next.
• the blocks are needed only by newly started nodes to recreate the database.

In this context,

• OP_RETURN is not bloating the database as it never enters it.
• Encoding data in non-OP_RETURN outputs does bloat the database.

Switching what you call "the database" doesn't change the problem with bloat, but maybe the perspective changes a little bit.

How do people manage their relay list(s)?

I find myself unwillingly replacing my published relay list when trying out new nostr apps. Ex: I normally use Amethyst, but tested YakiHonne and edited its default relay list (added my outbox relay). This caused Amethyst to start using the yakihonne default list.

Should I stop publishing my relay list, or maybe only publish the "greatest common list"? Is there wide support for that?

I upgraded 0.1.5 -> 0.1.7 and I had issues with never ending spinner on buttons so couldn't install/update apps. I deleted cache, but nothing changed. Then I deleted all app data and restarted the app. Now I see nothing but the spinner for 20 minutes or so. Double-zapped again.

I clicked the zap button, selected the amount and then zeus opened showing the invoice. I hit the big button, then it "fails" after 1m, but under the hood my node keeps trying. I was fooled by this and tried to zap again which also "failed". This resulted in two zaps.

The issue seems to be that zeus displays the payment as failed, but it's not.

Apparently there's a polygon "upgrade" coming. But I can't find any information on when the upgrade is happening. All I know is that it's going to happen on "Sept 4". That's a timespan of 48 hours in which it could happen.
