Taking a break from the 'home office' today to bring two of my kids into the city centre for lunch. It’s great to be out, but the "real world" adoption gap remains a reality—no direct Bitcoin payments accepted here yet.

Thankfully, I have my

card as the ultimate bridge. I was able to pay for lunch using the debit card, which (almost) instantly off-ramps from my Lightning balance to Euros at the point of sale. ⚡️➡️💶

While I’d prefer to pay natively, tools like Bringin allow us to live on a Bitcoin standard in Europe today, even when the merchants aren't quite there yet.

Back to home now to keep helping the real smart people build the infrastructure that will eventually make this card unnecessary! 🏛️🧱

Just checked out at Vijzelstraat station using the Bringin card again. The integration is flawless, making the transition from transport to the city streets a breeze.

Walking to the office now, I just passed the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM). For those outside the Dutch ecosystem, this is the main supervisor for MiCAR and MiFID II. 🏛️

As the primary authority for CASPs (Crypto-Asset Service Providers) and investment firms, the AFM represents the very regulatory framework we navigate daily at

. It’s a great reminder of why the work we do at

is so vital—bridging the gap between these legacy institutions and the sovereign future of the Bitcoin circular economy. 🌉🍊

Seeing the AFM building always reminds me: the rules are being written now. Are we educating enough people to lead the conversation?

Decided to leave the car behind and take the train to my client today. Checked in seamlessly tapping my NFC enabled VISA debit card connected to the

.

It is a fascinating "bridge" experience. Even though the legacy fiat rails are still involved in the background, having a vIBAN and debit card directly linked to my Lightning wallet and LN address makes the friction almost vanish. It is the ultimate utility tool for the modern consultant—settling legacy costs with Bitcoin-native speed.

Of course, the goal is a future where the fiat middle-man isn't required at all, but for now, this is how we transition. 🏛️➡️⚡️

Are you using any "Bridge" tools for your daily commute, or are you still 100% legacy for travel?

Hello #Nostr! ⚡️

After 20+ years working in the TradFi trenches, I finally took the "Orange Pill"—slowly, then all at once.

I’m bridging the gap between the legacy financial world and the sovereign web. I just published my first deep-dive on YakiHonne about my 5-year journey from a Bitvavo trader to a pragmatic Bitcoiner paying for burgers via Lightning. 🍔⚡️

I'm here to share insights on how entrepreneurs can navigate the "Great Transition" using tools like #Bringin, #Fedi, and #NWC without losing their minds (or their licenses).

I'm looking to connect with: 🇳🇱 Dutch & European Bitcoiners 💼 Entrepreneurs building on Lightning/Nostr ⚖️ FinTech & RegTech pioneers

If you believe in bridging TradFi to the Sovereign Web, please give this a boost! 🙏

Stop scanning QR codes like it’s 2021. The "Remote Control" era of Bitcoin is finally here. ⚡️📲

I’ve been testing the NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect) integration on Bringin recently, and it’s a revelation for UX. It’s basically 'Open Banking' for the #Plebchain.

I linked my social wallet (in my case Club Orange, but also works with Alby and Zeus) to my Bringin dashboard. Now, without ever leaving the Bringin app, I can:

✅ See my real-time sats balance from my connected wallet. ✅ Buy/Sell directly to that wallet in a single click. ✅ Send and Receive sats remotely through the Bringin interface.

The Takeaway: NWC is the 'USB-C' connector that lets your apps talk to each other. You get the unified, polished UX of a high-end bank, but you keep the keys.

If your favorite wallet or app isn't NWC-compatible in 2026, you're missing out on the most seamless way to live on a Bitcoin standard. 🤙🕶️
