If your company holds Bitcoin, who actually controls the keys?
Last week, a reseller sold Ledger devices with a hidden implant that stole the recovery phrase. 300+ wallets drained, up to $94M lost.
The question just got harder to ignore. Here’s how we approach it 👇🏻
This isn’t about one brand. Hardware wallets have protected millions of people. It’s a reminder: a seed phrase is only as safe as every hand and every screen it passes through.
For one person, that risk can be managed. For a company, it’s a different problem.
A company has directors, a finance team, and an accountant. People join. People leave.
A seed phrase wasn’t built for that. In a standard wallet, whoever holds the 24 words controls the money. When someone leaves, there’s no way to actually retrieve it and the process gets complicated.
So most companies end up leaving the Bitcoin on an exchange or in a founder’s personal wallet. Neither is how a business should hold its money.
Banks solved the people problem with signing mandates. Bitcoin’s closest answer is multisig, but every signer still holds a key and backup, and roles or limits need another layer on top.
At Bringin Business, no seed phrases in day-to-day operations.
Your company’s keys are generated and used for signing inside secure enclaves. Your team authorizes payments with passkeys - not by handling or sharing private keys.
Your company sets the rules:
• Owners manage access and approval policies. • Finance makes payments within agreed limits. • Accountants view transactions, but cannot move funds. • Larger payments require approval from multiple directors.
When an employee leaves, you revoke their access. No need to replace the company’s wallet.
This is how companies already run their bank accounts. Now they can run their Bitcoin the same way, without handing it to a custodian.
Bringin can’t authorize payments or override your policies on its own. Your company decides who can.
"Your keys, your coins" that finally works for companies.

Buying Bitcoin is easy. Running a business on it is another story.
Between debanking risks, MiCA Travel Rule requirements, and operational complexity, businesses face real hurdles when adopting Bitcoin.
On our recent community call, Prashanth Chandra Shekar walked us through these challenges and demonstrated how Bringin Business is addressing them.
What Bitcoin businesses deal with today:
• Banks questioning Bitcoin-related transactions (Prashanth experienced this firsthand with Wise recently) • Debanking risks and the importance of first-party payments • Travel Rule requirements complicating Bitcoin payments • Self-custody without proper controls for businesses
How Bringin Business addresses these challenges:
• A dedicated IBAN in your company’s name, enabling first-party transfers • Self-custody secured by hardware security modules • Treasury governance with role-based access controls • Native Lightning support integrated with self-custody for instant payments
The call also featured a live demo, showing euros moving into a self-custody wallet and back.

Buying Bitcoin is not the hard part. Running a European company on it is.
Introducing Bringin Business.: A Business account built for Bitcoin, designed for self-custody →
More European businesses want what Bitcoin offers: instant settlement, global reach, lower costs.
Then reality hits. Banks close accounts. Transfers get blocked. Every conversion adds friction. Records live across disconnected tools.
So the advantage is never taken.
Here's what changes for your business:
→ Add Bitcoin to your treasury in minutes. → Get paid in Bitcoin, Lightning or USDC, and receive euros. → Pay suppliers and payroll in bitcoin over SEPA → Move between Bitcoin and euros without getting blocked.
All from one account.
With all the functionalities of like a regular bank account. You get a dedicated corporate IBAN in your company's own name. Clients pay you by SEPA transfer. You pay suppliers and settle invoices the same way.
Bitcoin and euros, side by side.
Your keys, your coins.
Each company's private keys are generated inside a hardware-isolated secure enclave. Bringin never has access to the raw key, and payments are signed only after a designated company owner approves.
We've done this before. Over €15 million has moved through the Bringin consumer app. Now we're bringing the same seamless payment experience to businesses.
15 businesses are already using it in beta, from Lightning payment tools to mining-rig sellers and Bitcoin conferences.
Built on MiCA-authorised infrastructure. Available to companies across 30 European countries.
Bringin Business is invite only. Request yours 👇

Our latest community call was on debanking. Why Bitcoiners in Europe keep losing bank accounts, and what actually reduces the risk.
Highlights from the call 👇🏻
walked through why debanking is happening to individuals and businesses across Europe; watch the full talk:

Banks aren't debanking you because they think you're a criminal.
They happen because: 🔸 Checking whether a crypto transfer is legitimate takes resources and incurs costs to the bank 🔸 Getting those checks wrong risks enormous fines 🔸 So many banks preemptively flag transactions coming from exchange accounts and take the safer, and more cost-effective solution by just not allowing these transactions
Which raises the question: how does your bank know the money came from an exchange?
Because most exchanges pay out from shared IBAN accounts, held in the exchange's own name.
That makes it a third-party payment.
You can check this-> open your exchange/bitcoin app, tap deposit, look at whose name is on the account details.
Third-party payments carry more risk than first-party ones, with or without Bitcoin involved. But not all of them get blocked - the ones originating from an exchange are the problem.
First-party payments, sent from an account in an individual's or business's own name, carry far less risk.
Same name on both sides. Makes it much cleaner and nothing for the bank to untangle.
TL;DR:
👉🏻use licensed, MiCA-compliant platforms 👉🏻use a platform that provides a dedicated vIBAN, not a shared one 👉🏻give your bank a heads-up before large transfers 👉🏻Keep all paperwork with you long-term related to buys and sells 👉🏻Choose a platform that provides the dedicated paperwork needed for the bank.
Debanking is an unfortunate event and there will be always be friction between the traditional banking rails and services offering Bitcoin for a while.
However, until adoption outgrows the need for banks, the bridges matter.
