Smoky morning, but cleared up later, so Mom and I went for a treat down by the beach. We try and get out of the hotel at least once a day if the air isn’t too bad.

The latest official word is the next re-entry back to town, under an evacuation alert because the wildfire is still classified as “out of control,” will be a large group of folks, so here’s hoping. 🤞

Evenings are cooling off, so I walked around the neighborhood. Hoping these folks are just in for the holidays.

#asknostr - anyone done the RAGBRAI? https://ragbrai.com

It’s a 7 day bike ride across Iowa. Boyfriend is going with his brother and I was curious if anyone here had training or attending tips?

Just saw one of these in the backyard! 🦋

Didn’t get a good photo since it was dang fast and extremely fluttery, but wanted to show you how big these guys are. The blue spots are bright on their own and a beautiful shimmer in the sunlight.
