Saw multiple notes about what’s happening today …. And still briefly wondered why there’s a bunch of cars parked outside my neighbors’ houses. 🤦

Anyway … May you all have a Superb Owl evening! 🦉

Heard a screech owl while I was in my Studio. Went outside. Looked around; several trees are live oaks and still full of leaves, so nigh impossible to see a clump of feathers as big as my hand.

Didn’t hear the owl again, even after playing some screech owl calls off my phone.

But it was a warm, misty night where everything has a soft edge like in a dream. Glad I experienced it. GN.

Photo of a tree that did not have an owl in it but it if it did, the owl would have been much easier to see.

Day 13/24 - love this tawny owl.

I worked with a birds of prey rehabilitation group when I was in high school. We had a permanent great horned owl and barn owl we would take to schools and events as outreach educational programs.
