A one minute video of my backyard red oak tree. Cloud movement to note the passage of real time.
When I feel stressed or rushed, I watch this.
If the clip feels “too long” then I know it’s time to Slow Down … and watch the clip again. 🍁☁️

I love having a white pine as a Christmas tree: soft, thin branches, lovely scent. Added bonus that since I hang most of my ornaments off the lights, they are easy to find when it comes time to pack away the holidays. #chrismas #ornaments #tree https://i.nostr.build/YdrnwX5ysQgzeXB8.jpg
Heard a screech owl while I was in my Studio. Went outside. Looked around; several trees are live oaks and still full of leaves, so nigh impossible to see a clump of feathers as big as my hand.
Didn’t hear the owl again, even after playing some screech owl calls off my phone.
But it was a warm, misty night where everything has a soft edge like in a dream. Glad I experienced it. GN.
Photo of a tree that did not have an owl in it but it if it did, the owl would have been much easier to see.
