Being on vacation means sharing the world’s most ridiculous dessert before having dinner.

Behold! A vanilla shake with raspberry sauce topped with sprinkles, teddygrams, a donut, and a slice of cheesecake.

It was awesome. 😋

GA! Doing my part to support local businesses as they reopen after the wildfire evacuation: cranberry turkey apple brie sandwich on sourdough (not pictured) and blueberry scone (pictured).

A local farmer opened his peach orchard yesterday for picking because the fruit is ripe but most of the migrant workers left during the wildfire evacuation. Mom went out and brought back 2 large bags.

Today’s breakfast: fresh peaches and vanilla bean ice cream 😋

If the question is “Do you want waffles for breakfast?”

My answer is Yes! 🫐🧇

Props to Chef Boyfriend! 💖👨‍🍳

Today’s tea is Murchie’s Paris Afternoon, a green-black mix whose hints of caramel and brioche always compliment baked goods. Walnut crescent cookie baked by my sister using wheat flour she ground herself.

Sunday afternoon : Boyfriend’s excellent charcuterie spread and Andor season 2.

If you have the time, watch Andor 3 eps at a time (also works for season 1). Makes for less cliffhangers, a more fluid story, and is especially significant in S2 as after every 3 episodes, you jump 1 year forward in time/closer to Rogue One.

GM! My order from

arrived!!!

First, absolutely love the packaging, inside and out.

Second, I prefer dark chocolate, like 86%. These are 70% and are amazing- probably because each bar only has 3 ingredients and the flavor comes from where the cacao is sourced…. Which you can read about on the stellar packaging.

Third, the flavors are fun! Boyfriend has a more refined palette than me. During our tasting, he could taste all of the notes of each bar. I definitely tasted the fruit, and sometimes the nut notes.

Really wonderful chocolate. 🍫

5⭐️.

Will buy from again …. near the end of the year…. because it’s now summer in Texas and they would be a melty mess by the time they got to me. 🫠

Had an absolutely wonderful 4 hours with my early morning friend. Lots of talk regarding being an artist/creator/learner. I also got a quick intro on how he uses AI for research (info and graphics) and not only iterating within an idea but iterating through several ideas. 💡💡💡

Also, this cafe has a really good breakfast plate.
