And then

Can the internet give individuals a voice, an identity and money that no company or government can take away? 🐦⚡

JACK DORSEY — NETWORKS, MONEY AND PROTOCOLS

Jack Dorsey is a programmer and entrepreneur whose work repeatedly returns to one idea:

How can people exchange information and value directly?

His earliest fascination was not social media.

It was dispatch systems—the real-time networks cities use to coordinate taxis, couriers and emergency vehicles.

Every participant had a location.

Every message changed the network.

That idea eventually helped shape Twitter:

A worldwide public conversation built from short, immediate messages.

Twitter gave millions of people a voice—but it also exposed the limitations of centralized platforms.

One company still controlled:

🔐 Accounts

📣 Distribution

🧮 Algorithms

🚫 Moderation

🏢 The entire underlying network

Dorsey also co-founded Square, now Block, which made digital payments accessible to small businesses and helped bring Bitcoin into mainstream financial tools.

He increasingly shifted his attention toward open protocols:

₿ Bitcoin for permissionless money

⚡ Lightning for rapid peer-to-peer payments

🪶 Nostr for portable identity and communication

🧑‍💻 Open-source development that no single company owns

Through #startsmall, he donated $10 million to OpenSats in 2023, including $5 million dedicated to Nostr.

In 2024, #startsmall contributed another $21 million—including another $5 million for the Nostr Fund.

THE GIFT:

🌐 Jack helped millions of ordinary people publish and exchange value through simple digital tools.

He later used his money and influence to fund protocols that do not require him—or any other CEO—to remain in control.

THE SHADOW:

🏢 He also helped demonstrate how quickly a tool for public conversation can become centralized infrastructure with enormous power over speech, attention and identity.

Supporting decentralization does not erase that history.

It may represent an attempt to learn from it.

In the portrait:

🗺️ The dispatch map represents his original fascination with cities communicating in real time.

🐦 One blue bird dissolves into many free birds—one platform giving way to an open network.

🔗 The relay constellation represents Nostr.

🔑 The keys represent identity and custody belonging to the individual.

⚡ The golden paths represent value traveling directly between people.

◼️ The black block represents the company he still leads—and the unresolved tension between corporations and protocols.

Jack Dorsey’s story is not simply about building companies.

It is about discovering that the most powerful network may be the one its creator cannot own.

Dream 2: (Redacted) (R) Written on July 29, 2023

It stormed down here in city (R) last night & this morning as well. Ironically I woke up very early & witnessed what I #relayed to my partner (R) this morning after coming to grand room & sleeping on a couch awhile. It appeared to me as an #electrical storm in the sky. Lots of #lightning without sounds. Walked out front & saw a bright light coming from the north. Immediate thought was “well if this is it…then this is it. I’m ready to defend #humanity.” As the light came closer in the trees I looked over at the #lightening & felt comforted knowing it wouldn’t #strike me down. Waited far too long for the light to appear. At last a car drove by. That was the lighting I had seen? Very slow & mystical. Which is #weird. It definitely was not a dream.

This reminds me of something that happened many years ago. Now it seems the right time to share with all of you the story of when the tree in front of your fathers and my house was struck down directly in the middle. Your father wasn’t there as he was gone for (R). What children we had were sleeping at (R) house cause I had (R) the next day.

That night I had went to sleep alone in the bed. While dreaming I was standing in front of a bunch of humans guarding them against some type of demented animalistic creature. This scared everyone around me enough to retreat. Even in the dream I was scared of “it” but intuitively understood that if no one else would stand against it…I absolutely had to in order to protect others.

At that time I can’t remember how many of you (my children) were born but part of it was to protect my own child or children. In the dream we were battling, this “thing” and I. My last thought was its getting closer & I vividly recall feeling it was my time to strike. It lunged forward…

Here’s where it gets weird. A loud thundering clap from outside woke me.

I opened my eyes & my human body was on the floor next to the window next to our bed. I was on all fours howling like a dog. WTAF? Was my first thought. Upon stopping my shrieking howling, I stood and nervously opened the window curtain. Oddly I chose to peek out. 😂 (Not smart, cause easy target.) That’s when I witnessed the lightening strike that tree down the very middle. It was a loud explosive boom. The tree was on fire for only a few moments. It scared me so much I jumped back in bed & went back to sleep. Fearful but attempted to sleep thinking it was a nightmare. Can’t remember how soon it was…Did I sleep at all? but went over to (R) to check on my babies & slept there before going to (R).

Not sure if (R) or your father will remember when the tree split down the middle. ( Dear #Nostr it was later confirmed all remember this )

Again, I thought it was only a nightmare. But considering how many other odd things are currently happening… This might have meant something more than my #mind or #soul could recognize at the time.

Either way, it reminded me that when needed my #heart & body will always defend #humanity at all costs. It also is a gentle reminder that it’s okay to retreat when needed. In todays world of #misinformation & #soul sucking society… Humans will need to stick together & be kinder. #Love will be how humanity moves forward. Enough have died in wars.

For me, I recognize that we are currently in a war of information spread online. Modern example most can see is: Witnessed by how many young men have chosen to follow disgusting ideology of toxic masculinity.

Beyond that, we have multiple adults who have been #brainwashed into #political ideologies by the media as well.

It’s not a “young man’s” loneliness that’s the problem. It’s lack of love. Many ages & generations feel unloved & seek it via online media & likes. On Twitter there are many “bots” People get dopamine boosts when they feel another “person” reacts to what they said. Both good and bad. If someone engages they accept they are special.

“Having too much dopamine — or too much dopamine concentrated in some parts of the brain and not enough in other parts — is linked to being more competitive, aggressive and having poor impulse control. It can lead to conditions that include ADHD, binge eating, addiction and gambling.”

The issue is many of those “people” on #Twitter etc. are not actual people. They are AI generated bots that appear to be people. It’s basically a network system. One human creates alternate personas & reacts as such. I’ve been using AI to show how easy it can be replicated on a massive scale. This has been done to distribute information online in record speeds.

#Glitch out when needed 😂🤣🎂

Daily since 1999 but definitely did before that … just not as seriously.

Some called me #toxic #positivity on #Twitter and I got tired of it so one day me spoke some #truth and some even replied: I don’t know how you’re alive.

Me: yep 👍 I’ve seen and been the worst of humanity to survive. Literally. My point is never been a fan of #doom #scrolling so sure … my story is just another life lived. Same as everyone else.

Lastly, I used to let everyone know fault when I was going to meditate 🧘🏻‍♀️ so that was kind of fun. 🤩

People say #art must be #perfect Well as an #artist 🔻 is one of my oldest #paintings

Art helped #heal me. Now I #create & give my art away: it’s my way of seeking balance in a world of #exploitation

Why?

1. People have taken my #words and created #art based off of it for years, and it never bothered me until I saw how they used it to exploit others. Then I decided enough.

2 #AI is inherently flawed because it’s #sexist #AF against #women

hey you have 555 followers now … that’s cool 😎

See that cuck below ⬇️ of #Trible … or #Tribe #BULLSHIT

Who wants to hear my story of how #Twitter was destroyed from my view as one who came there in #2022

Cause I have the #FAX #📠 to back it up and I will lay it out clearly as my #autistic broken #ADD #brain can remember
