My dear fellow Warrior, Let me ask you this: who’s gonna carry the boats? Who’s gonna bear your cross? If it ain’t you, then who?

Here's Rick Rubin explaining why we even bother with creating something as niche and unprofitable as a Bitcoin themed wall calendar:

Another quick update: due to concerns about artists' rights to their works, participants can now choose whether they want their works to be used in the open source version of the calendar or not:

I realize 2 weeks is a short time to come up with and/or choose the right pieces for an art competition. As such, I've extended the deadlines for the 2027 Bitcoin Wall Calendar art submissions!

Submissions: extended to 21 October Voting: 23–30 October Winners announced: 31 October Sponsor applications: open until 31 October The nostr sharing giveaway and pre-order bonus votes have been extended too!

And I'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone who already submitted their art, shared it on socials, tagged their favorite Bitcoin artists or put in pre-orders for the calendar! The support is priceless and I'm confident the 2027 calendar will turn out to be the 💣 !

There is a slight chance I might actually get around to posting some photos, videos and thoughts from the summertime, as well as the new and improved version of "Bitcoin from a Stoic Perspective" (with the audio version accompanying it) in the next few months. A slight chance.

Probably not until after the 2027 Bitcoin Wall Calendar is ready though.

Until then, anon, please feel free to indulge in one of the latest pieces of writing I've released till now:

#nostr is the type of social media I disdain the least

Worry is faithlessness. Worry is non-acceptance. Worry is fear. Worry is violence.

And worry is a delusion.

Let go and let God. Don’t worry, be Love.

Should we create a 2027 Bitcoin Wall Calendar too, anon?

That's a rhetorical question. Of course we should. We will. Details coming soon.

For a spiritual exercise: bear your cross. No, don’t just bear it. Revel under it. Be grateful for it. Smile, for this burden is a gift, an opportunity to participate in the redemption of the world. The heavier the load, the wider your smile should be, for you have been deemed blessed and capable enough to handle it.

For the 2026 Bitcoin Wall Calendar, I used a couple of my own photographs as well, in addition to other, more talented Bitcoiner artists like

and nostr:npub1pvn0tyrrrv86xpydzq6ppeyyuh3zut263m82emdfmydn37qa6x5qmh8khc just to name a few.

For my birthday month, I used my TOP 1 favorite photo of all time, taken during the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen, in Cape Gloucester, Queensland, Australia, on 16 January 2021. I have this exact photo as my desktop wallpaper for years now, another photo from the same session as my phone wallpaper, and I also had it printed on a canvas as a gift to my parents when I first visited Estonia in 2022.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that one of my favorite Satoshi quotes ("If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry.") was originally posted on my birthday :) nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqr5g4trndr2lykpyx7pxqs4nlvazdgfx70v9wcvvddn99204h7s2qyd8wumn8ghj7cn0wd68ytnvv43hgatjd9n8jtnwv46z7qgswaehxw309ahzummtxqhx7un89uqzqgyypnkxg2w3zd6rcxnnrnvvh2gvjfuny0kju0p07rqfycx03vw5gu94gv

The soul wants to create, the ego wants to take credit.

Been clocking in at the new job for over a month now. What I said below still stands though: I am grateful for the job, but would rather work on freedom & love-oriented projects. Quality timber is good, packing it well is great, but freedom and love are essential. Heal & Fix the world is what I want to engage in.

I'd also happily work a "regular" job in service of other Bitcoiners or value-aligned people. There is something much deeper about knowing who you're working with and what you're helping to build together as opposed to "just doing your job" and not caring about who or what it serves.

In addition, the current job does not make much use of my biggest muscle - the creative muscle. More details about me & my previous job experience (in addition to the sawmill job) in the notes quoted down below.

Loving others, loving the world is most valuable when it's the hardest thing to do.

Whenever you want to complain that life is unfair, remember how much the Buddha sacrificed. Remember how much Jesus suffered. Remember how long Moses was lost.

This event is happening again in a week, 14 June 2026 👀 Featuring some sourdough goddness and a short live rap performance by yours truly among other goodies.

If you're in or around Suure-Jaani, Estonia around that time, hit me up & come drop by :)

A warrior is not defined by success or failure. A warrior is defined by the amount of effort he puts into anything he does. A true warrior does everything and anything as if it’s the most important thing he ever does, and as if it’s the last thing he ever does. The warrior is fully committed, fully present.

Reminder for today: be in one task at a time. Don’t dilute your attention. Wherever you are, whatever you do, be there, 100%.

JOB UPDATE: I've finished my first week working full-time as a packing line operator at a local sawmill + accepted an additional sidequest chopping and stacking firewood for a neighbor.

I am very grateful for those opportunities and to be able to provide real, tangible value to the world. That being said, I will continue looking for challenges that are perhaps better aligned with my Dharma, related to Bitcoin, love & freedom, and which may make better use of my unique history and skillset.

A huge thank you to all who have shared the job search note and/or suggested specific people to connect with, I was honestly blown away by the support! I've already had a few lovely calls with some great people on nostr who are working on interesting projects aligned with my own values and have a few more chats lined up. Very excited to see where this all goes!

The thing I really like about my earlier writing is its unhinged rawness and innocence. Sure, the style hadn't developed much, the prose was weaker, vocabulary smaller, etc. I hadn't read or studied that much of anything (still haven't much, but a bit more for sure). Back then, I was just running off pure intuition, curiosity and confidence. For example, when I wrote this in The Basics of Yoga, I had never even heard the term theosis:

I'd also definitely recommend this short video on the topic:

Synergy? Synchonicity? IDK. Whatever it is, it works. There's a thread, a line, a path. Follow it.

"You're in deep and no one's coming to save you. If you drag yourself down, you're dragging everybody else along with you. If you pick yourself up, you're picking everybody up with you. That's the reciprocal nature of life. That's how you're responsible, not only for yourself, but for everybody else."

Insomnia, inspiration, inspirare...

"Bitcoin is not just money. It is, in a Jungian sense, a symbolic mirror; a structure that reflects back the ethical coherence, or incoherence, of its participants." ―

Excellent piece. Another wonderful explanation as to why "what is money" is a deeply philosophical question. Reminded me of this meditation on freedom:

Great work & yet another wonderful explanation/exploration into why "what is money" is not just about finance and economics, but also human action and philosophy at a fundamental level.

Waiting for the longer version! 🌀 🤠
