You can tell when someone might not be metabolically well when you suggest something as simple as not eating dinner in front of the TV, and their immediate response is to push back against the idea rather than consider it.

And to all a good night

Decided to take a trip to the beach yesterday after the hurricane came through the area. Thankfully it wasn't much of anything here, just a bit of rain and wind.

Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day. The waves were quite large, so it was fun to do a bit of body surfing. There were a number of fritillaries pollinating the flowers along the dunes. I've never seen anything like it before. Probably hundreds of them.

Shot with my Leica M262 / edited in Lightroom.

Beautiful day for a swim

It’s a crime to utter the words:

“I don’t like bacon”

Straight to the box you go.

I went to the beach today and took a few photos. Nothing to interesting, but I thought these felt good.

Really beautiful day with fall weather approaching.

I received an invitation to an event planer networking event the other day. Incredibly fiat, but everyone was kind and the food was good. It was a masquerade theme I suppose so there were a few dressed up in masks and etc.

Hopefully something good comes out of it like shooting more events and such. Weddings I don't enjoy doing, but just being able to be a fly on the wall and document people is something I do best.

Here's a few photos from the day (and before the event. I went to a nearby river that was in the area).

Would love to find some Nostr / Bitcoin events to photograph, so if you know a guy / gal, get me in touch with them.

Used my Leica Q for these.

Looking to do more photography projects. Events, documentary, travel, you name it.

Perhaps there’s some nostr / bitcoin events that would benefit from my work.

Hopefully this may reach someone that would be interested in working together or may be well connected.

Pls spread the word. I do good work.

Bit cloudy today but beautiful view as always.

who is the developer of this?

Went out and about yesterday evening trying out the iM30 flash I picked up yesterday for my Lieca Q. Nothing too amazing here, but just wanted to test what it could do.

TLDR: get one if you need a flash, and only want to spend up to $40 bucks. It's very good.

I got it with the diffuser. Works well, but drastically reduces the reach.

Took a trip to one of my favorite beaches this past weekend. Beautiful day, and thankfully I brought the camera along.

At low tide, you can literally walk about a half-mile out into the water and it only gets up to your waist. Pretty wild.

I love how much space there is between people out here. It creates these really surreal scenes. There are also tons of hermit crabs, sand dollars, and other sea creatures that seem much harder to find on the other beaches around here. Not exactly sure why.

Used the #Leica M262, as always.

Life is full of challenges.

One way to move through them is to start seeing life as a series of games. The goal isn't to eliminate conflict, but to recognize that much of what feels overwhelming is temporary and, in many ways, a little phony.

Your strength comes from understanding the game and remaining calm enough to navigate it.

The real superpower you develop along the way is steadfastness - the ability to keep going, stay disciplined, and remain consistent when things get difficult.

It's less about working harder and more about practicing consistency, patience, and discipline over time.

A better question to ask yourself is “what and how can I contribute to society in a meaningful way that isn’t non monetary. If you can welcome that, the momentary thing will present itself later down the line”

I built Text Slide Maker to solve a problem I had: creating text-heavy slide decks without drowning in Photoshop layers or exporting them one-by-one.

The idea was simple - edit all slides in one place so they stay visually coherent.

Add text, position it, tweak fonts/colors/shadows, and see everything update instantly across your entire deck. Design one slide you love, then apply that layout and styling to all your other slides in one click. Then export as PNG, animated GIF, or MP4.

What makes it special:

🎨 Zero friction. No build step, no backend, no account. Just open it in your browser and start creating. Your projects auto-save locally.

⚡ Built from scratch. GIF and MP4 export? Custom encoders written in pure JavaScript - no external libraries except one (JSZip for PNG). That means:

GIF: Median-cut palette generation + Floyd–Steinberg dithering + LZW compression, all client-side

MP4: Custom ISO-BMFF muxer + WebCodecs H.264 encoding, runs right in your browser

🎯 Three formats. Square (1080×1080), portrait (1080×1350), story (1080×1920) - all the social media sizes you need.

🔤 Curated fonts. Alaska Beta, Neue Haas Display, Proxima Nova, IBM Plex, and more - self-hosted so they load instantly.

✨ Full control. Per-text drop shadows, strokes, line-height, letter-spacing, gradients, image backgrounds with pan/zoom. Plus 50-step undo/redo.

Built as a single HTML file + CSS + ~2,600 lines of JavaScript. No frameworks, no complexity. Just a tool that does one thing really well.

Would love to get your feedback, and let me know if you'd like to see anything added to it.

Please use on laptop (it is not mobile friendly as a tool)
