#Merry Christmas🎄

🟠 It's officially been 300 weeks since 2020 began. Saving $50/week in bitcoin during that time would’ve turned $15k into 0.58 BTC, now worth over $63k. Saving in gold instead would’ve yielded 7.45 oz of gold, worth just over $28k.
Bitcoin’s a superior long term savings technology. ##bitcoin #btc

Bitcoin is Sucking Global Capital Both if Fear and Optimism
A global capital soft war is happening right now.
Trump is trying to change the world order and, at the same time, expand the fiscal deficit.
This is causing a capital fight at the margins. Global investors are repatriating their money, and this could put pressure on the dollar, bonds, and stocks.
Normally, this would be bad for Bitcoin as it correlates with US stocks.
But we are observing a different phenomenon.
Nasdaq/BTC has been going down steadily since late February, when all the mayhem started.
Bitcoin is acting like a giant capital vacuum that not only operates in the US market, but also everywhere else. So, a capital flight out of the US or out of China for that matter, will only end up in a bid for Bitcoin.
Bitcoin wins on both ends.
Bitcoin is the real three-legged stool as it is: (A) a hedge against monetary debasement, (B) a beneficiary of global economic growth, and (C) at the same time, a hedge against geopolitical fear

WHY BITCOIN is a better asset than gold or silver:
One reason why I trust Bitcoin is there are only to ever be 21 million.
I own gold and silver mines and oil wells.
If the price of gold, silver, or oil goes up, I will simply mine or drill for more, expanding supply.
I cannot do that with Bitcoin.
21 million is 21 million.
Take care. #RobertKiyosaki #bitcoin #btc #nostr

We generally like all facts to confirm our beliefs! I have a relatively older Swiss friend whom I never expected to become interested in Bitcoin. But I had talked to him about Bitcoin once, and he said he preferred gold. I only brought it up because I noticed he had somewhat of an anarchist spirit, so I at least wanted to open the door to a conversation.
Years have passed since then. Today, he messaged me saying, “Man, gold has outperformed Bitcoin. Would you agree I was right?” I said, “My friend, when exactly did gold perform better? Yesterday? Here, look at this complete Bitcoin-to-gold ratio chart. You can see gold has had a consistently declining trend.”
He replied, “A month ago, it performed better.” Even if we assume that gold outperformed Bitcoin for three consecutive months, you can’t just conclude with certainty that gold is the better performer and end the discussion there. Maybe during that period, Bitcoin was stagnating at lower prices, but in times it wasn’t, it made up for months of gold’s gains in just one month.
Events like this make me think that people we tell today “Bitcoin is a good thing,” even if Bitcoin goes from its current price to $200K and then drops to $190K four months later, will still say, “Glad we didn’t buy Bitcoin! Otherwise, we’d be in the red right now.” The reason is that someone who hasn’t bought or held Bitcoin only focuses on the latest news and says, “Bitcoin has crashed.” They don’t think about how if they had just bought 5,000 satoshis the day they first heard about it, it would’ve nearly doubled in value by now.
And keep in mind, I first met this guy when Bitcoin was around $16,000!

In the past 2–3 years, a type of scam called the Pig Butchering Scam has become really widespread. I’d even say we’re probably at the peak of this kind of scam right now. I’m not sure what the best Persian equivalent would be—maybe something like "fattening up before slaughter" or something along those lines.
The scheme usually works similarly to other common social media scams, but with one very important difference: instead of rushing to get you to send money right away, they usually spend a much longer time building trust with the victim. They don’t hold back either. Want a photo? They send it. A video? They send that too. A voice message? You’ll get one. They fully act like your friend.
In most cases, the scammer takes on the role of a lover or a close friend. So they first meet the victim on social media, and then they might stay in contact for months. They’ll call—voice or video—and talk regularly, until eventually they begin rolling out their real plan. They’ll try to convince the victim to open an account somewhere or do something with their bank or crypto wallet, and eventually they extract the victim’s money.
You might be wondering: well then how come the scammer is able to do video and voice calls and even send personal stuff? Wouldn't the victim know a lot about them? And this is where I should tell you—these scams are usually very organized. The team running the scam uses a variety of methods, like:
Altering faces and voices with tools (AI and such)
Hiring people (guys or girls) to answer calls, do video chats, or send photos
In some cases, especially in regions like Southeast or South Asia, they even use people who are forced or coerced into doing this kind of work (often in Myanmar, Cambodia, etc.)
Now, as for how to avoid this kind of scam, I don’t really need to go into that—after all, the victim probably trusts the scammer more than they trust me :)) They’ve had hours of conversations, shared photos and videos… Who am I to compete with that? 😂
But seriously, if you or someone you know meets a person on social media who’s trying to convince them to invest somewhere—please give them a heads-up.
A 15-year data analysis reveals a simple truth: Unlike traditional markets, Bitcoin is not a short-term asset for speculation but an evolutionary cycle. The data proves that:
Weak hands sell during accumulation phases, while strong hands accumulate.
Those who don’t understand volatility lose hope during recovery phases.
The market rewards the patient during growth and momentum phases.
Bitcoin has always been reaching new price levels—and it always will. But only those who understand it will use these cycles to their advantage.
If you still think you should sell your Bitcoin, look again… because these cycles are designed for one thing only: wealth redistribution. #bitcoin #btc #nostr

At this point in time, $100 worth of gold is lighter than a $100 bill!
🔹 $100 bill = 1 gram 🔹 $100 worth of gold = 0.983 grams
Since the U.S. no longer prints bills larger than $100, gold is a more efficient way to transfer value in the physical world compared to cash dollars!
Of course, efficiency depends on the need. For example, verifying the authenticity of a $100 bill might be easier for many people, making it more practical than gold in that sense. However, one clear advantage of gold here is that it is lighter.

▪️ What's the deal with wallets? Can't I just leave it in the exchange? Why do I have to pay a fee every time?
🔹 Keeping Bitcoin on an exchange is not safe at all. Even if you have an account with the most reputable exchange in the world.
In fact, until your Bitcoin is in your wallet, you don't truly own it.
One of Bitcoin's greatest achievements for humanity is that, perhaps for the first time in history, you can fully and completely own an asset without needing anyone's help to store it.
Keeping Bitcoin on an exchange is not like keeping money in a bank (which, by the way, isn't safe either) where you can feel at ease about its security.
Exchanges have been repeatedly targeted by hackers, and there's also a high risk of fraud and bankruptcy.
Transaction fees are part of this story, and you need to accept them as a reality.
An exchange might even offer you interest to encourage you not to transfer your Bitcoin. But don't be tempted. Your goal is long-term Bitcoin storage, and for this purpose, an exchange is not a safe option.
Until your satoshis are transferred to your wallet, you're no different from someone who doesn't own any Bitcoin.

Money is neither gold, nor cash, nor even a number in a bank account! Money is our claim on time. When we deal with money controlled by the government and on the path to devaluation, they are essentially shortening our lives without our consent.
The true value of money lies in the freedom to choose it! #Bitcoin #btc #nostr

"Bitcoin, Not Crypto"
What does this phrase mean in the context of Bitcoin? I’ll try to explain what I understand with a few examples.
With the invention of Bitcoin—resulting from the combination of several concepts such as Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm, blockchain, open-source software, distributed ledger, game theory, and a few other elements—we achieved something new: digital scarcity, which had never existed before.
Now, imagine that after this invention, someone else comes along, makes minor changes or removes some components of this innovation, copies it, and then claims to have created a new form of scarcity.
Let me explain this using a similar decentralized example.
We know that at some point, someone invented the TCP/IP protocol, which allowed computers all over the world to connect and created what we now call the Internet. Now, imagine that today, someone comes along, slightly modifies TCP/IP, creates a new protocol, and tells the world, "Forget the Internet! Connect to my new protocol instead." Would anyone care?
Another example is Wikipedia. If someone were to copy all of Wikipedia’s content and launch it on their own server, would that replace Wikipedia?
One more example: Suppose that using the most advanced technology, you create a perfect replica of the Mona Lisa, or even hire a professional artist to repaint it in higher quality. Would that replica suddenly become as valuable as the original painting?
These are just a couple of reasons why "crypto" cannot replace Bitcoin. Networks—including monetary networks—do not derive their value solely from software or code; their value comes from the people who use them.
Moreover, the technology of digital scarcity was invented only once, and copying it does not make the copy valuable.
