I think we downplayed the importance of mining and I fear this was our mistake. If thousands of us had rented $20 worth of hash rate, the result might have been very different. What do you think? Maybe we need a culture of hobby home mining? or $20/month hash renting?

We need more of this real hard talk!

My Full Travel List for Exploring Latin America:

Documents

• Passport (with 12+ months of validity).
• 2 printed passport copies (in case you lose the original).
• Bank statement with +$3,500 balance (in case they ask for it at a border control)
• Prepare real or fake return/exit flight tickets for countries where you plan yo enter. If you don't have such a return/exit ticket, they might not let you enter a country or board a plane to a country. So best is to either buy a return ticket or if you don't know when you would return, create a fake return ticket with Canva. Just take a real PDF ticket, open it with Canva, edit the date, flight number, etc. and export it to PDF again.

Super helpful! Do you yourself have Google Play installed on your Graphene or not really?

I have set my new Pixel 8a with Graphene, but still face minor annoying issues. E.g. I can’t find CurvePay in the AuroraStore. It just does not show up… I have a similar issue with a few more local apps. I have been avoiding to install Google Play and move fully to the Graphene device..but if installing Google Play is a reasonable trade-off, I will definitely do it and hopefully start 2026 with my own device:)

I am looking for a UX/UI product designer with experience building Bitcoin / crypto products. Comment below or DM me:)

💜 Last year,

became the first sports club on Nostr.

🫡 Today, we become the first sports club running a Nostr relay: https://relay.botev.sv/

This relay would not be happening without:

• The inspiration that we got from
  npub1dergggk…h9xzpc

  's writings in 2023
• The contagious enthusiasm of
  npub16c0nh3d…586nvr

  , nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx, nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49
• The time invested by nostr:npub1mnwjn40hr042rsmzu64rsnwsw07uegg4tjkv620c94p6e797wkvq3qeujc to actually set up https://relay.botev.sv/

This is a small but important step in our recommittment to freedom.

👇 WHY?

1. Our club is named afer the poet and freedom fighter Hristo Botev, who died fighting for our country's freedm. Botev famously wrote "Only one who is free can be called human in the full sends of the word".

2. Botev FC suffered heavily to centralization and censorship during the Bulgarian communist era, when the team was forced to change its name to "Trakia" and was repeately mistreated in favor of communist-friendly clubs.

Embracing Bitcoin and Nostr is, therefore, the most natural step for our club's identity and historical roots.

If Hristo Botev was alive, he would have been a Bitcoiner running a full node and a Norst relay.

In the past year, we have mostly been cross-posting from Twitter to Nostr. But for us this is just the beginning. We already have plans for Nostr-exclusive content and keep looking for:

• the right Nostr clients that enable us to reinvent fan engagement;
• the best way to utilize our relat for our community;
• new purple paradigms and projects.

It was thrilling to join nostr:npub1nstrcu63lzpjkz94djajuz2evrgu2psd66cwgc0gz0c0qazezx0q9urg5l's Nostriga. The energy I felt in people reminded of the energy described in Ben Merzlich's "Bitcoin Billionaires" book about the Winklevos brothers. It is an honor to part of this community.

LET'S BUILD!

Following our club's slogan BEAUTY. FAITH. FIGHT.

🌟 We see the BEAUTY of Nostr and Bitcoin. 🙏 We have FAITH Nostr and Bitcoin can make the world freer ⚔️ We contribute to this worthwhile FIGHT.

Hiking in boots is like having sex with 5 condoms.

Shoes are a #scam. Barefoot shoes too. Five fingers too.

Ok, in all fairness, barefoot shoes and five fingers can serve as good tools to transition from pampered muscle-less feet to strong, balanced, and connected feet.

And once you have made the transition….OMG you wonder how you could have missed pristine connectedness in favor of overprotective condoms for the feet.

Go #natural.

if you come visit in ₿ullgaria, we can do some content on barefoot walking - both in the mountain and on the football field :)) LIFECHANGING! Like Bitcoin 🧡 and Nostr 💜

I wonder if/how one can set his Nostr feed to show a MIX of TRENDING posts and posts of people I follow?

Cuz now I feel like most users are exposed primarily to trending posts.

In other words, when how can a normal user define his personal feed algorithm? (as @LynAlden calls it)

Today, I am grateful to Bitcoin for:

😊 Getting me out of the rat race ⏳Giving me time to grow my health and relationships ❤️ Letting me work on projects I love 🤘 Surrounding me with worthwhile humans ☀️Allowing me to think positive and to think big

Last but not least, I am grateful to being this early on Nostr. I now know a little better how Bitcoin OGs felt back in the very early days.

What a historic night for

💛🖤, #Bitcoin 🧡 and #Nostr💜!

🇪🇺 Returning on the European football stage!

🤜 Beating Maribor 2:1 with #Bitcoin on our side

⚽ 1st goal scored by Nigerian 🇳🇬 Anthony Ujah

⚽ 2nd goal scored by ₿ULLgarian 🇧🇬 Nikola Iliev

Both scorers will be Bitcoiners (we hope very soon).

#11 Anthony runs a foundation in Nigeria for kids & women. 🤌 He needs #Bitcoin to to grow his foundations' endowment and to send money for free to Nigeria.

#21 Nikola grew up in Botev's academy, then moved to @Inter, playing with their fantoken jersey. Last month, he ditched Inter to come back to Botev wearing the special 21 #Bitcoin jersey and scoring the winning goal in yesterday's 2:1 🔥 🤌 He needs #Bitcoin to multiply his salary's purchasing power in his rising career.

I am preparing my best presentation for Anthony, Nikola and the 30-player squad reinforced with short videos from #Bitcoin players Alex Crognale, Kieran Gibbs, and Nigerian Bitcoiner

.

Yesterday's historic win was also supported by our lifelong 12th player - the fans. Including a #Bitcoin stand with 50 strong local Bitcoiners cheering Botev right above the 17-meter long banner:

👊 If you understand Bitcoin, you buy it. 👊

The clear message was broadcast on national Bulgarian and Slovenian TV reaching +1 million European homes, restaurants, and pubs.

rightfully calls Bitcoin to be Europeans' mithril. At nostr:npub19jfsjxx7gtw2t52qepx93ek57fdstfwszct3qqwzns4zxmvsc5gswf8rx0 we see the greatest game of all time as the trojan horse for millions of people to take the orange pill.

While fans won't watch nostr:npub15dqlghlewk84wz3pkqqvzl2w2w36f97g89ljds8x6c094nlu02vqjllm5m's nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle's talk at nostr:npub167n5w6cj2wseqtmk26zllc7n28uv9c4vw28k2kht206vnghe5a7stgzu3r, they will follow their beloved players.

Problem: Messi, Ronaldo, Man City, PSG and many more are overtaken by memecoins and fantokens. They are lost. And it will take them years to come to the bright orange side.

We at Botev, on the other hand strive to be like @MicroStrategy and El Salvador. We know Bitcoin is the way. It is the hard way, but the right way - for our players, fans, for #football and #sports!

In 2020, few knew MicroStrategy or El Salvador. ⏩ 4 years of hard work: ⭐ MicroStrategy is the Bitcoin company that has outperformed every stock. 🙌 El Salvador is the Bitcoin country that has become the safest place in the western hemisphere.

In 2023, very few knew nostr:npub19jfsjxx7gtw2t52qepx93ek57fdstfwszct3qqwzns4zxmvsc5gswf8rx0. ⏩ 9 months of hard work: 🏆 Won the Bulgarian Cup 🇪🇺 Returned to UEFA Europa League with a historic win 💜 +100,000 social media followers (including 4,000 followers on Nostr!) 🎥 Got a documentary by nostr:npub1lr2zzf989mvf393y0tv39ara6a4vddkd6y87z784up9vl6ks6j3qtudl6a; nostr:npub1lelkh3hhxw9hdwlcpk6q9t0xt9f7yze0y0nxazvzqjmre3p98x3sthkvyz ;) 🤝 Partnered with nostr:npub1jan3xfrvxmd35smylytmnp3ne0sgqh2x47yq766s55zaf6eja4rselx52y for a Botev branded Aqua Wallet ⚡ Launched Bolt member cards with nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg 🇸🇻 Established a holding company in El Salvador to accumulate Bitcoin tax free 🤫 And so many more world-first #Bitcoin x #Football projects that we have upcoming.

Where will Botev be in 1-2-3 years?

It will be the #Bitcoin football club that Manchester City follows like Dell today follows MicroStrategy.

Reaffirming

's call to build, use, and #GrowNostr better, faster, and more functional.

Do you think it is possible to build Telegram-level app (or better) on Nostr within say 5 years?

In 1933, the US confiscated gold.

By 2033, it will confiscate #bitcoin.

🆘 I need help orange-pilling 30 professional #football players.

I am prepareing a 20 min #bitcoin talk to

's squad.

We have mostly #Bulgarian 🇧🇬 players but also 4 great Nigerian players, as well as players from #Cameroon 🇨🇲, Ivory Coast 🇨🇮, #Guinea 🇬🇫, #Poland 🇵🇱, #Estonia 🇪🇪, #Montenegro 🇲🇪, #Denmark 🇩🇰, and #Croatia 🇭🇷.

So far, I plan to go personal by:

1. Asking the African players how to they send remittances to their relatives. And then show them how they can send bitcoin over LN instantly and for free.

2. Asking the experienced players how much income they made over their careers. Then show them how much more they could have if they DCA-ed in #BTC for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 years.

🙋‍♂️What other impactful examples, ideas, illustrations would you use to orange-pill players?

All ideas are welcome -> conventional or crazy!

Also, intros to well-know Bitcoiners or orange-pilled athletes from Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Poland, Estonia, Montenegro, Denmark, and Croatia would be greatly appreciated it. I want to get a quote, advice, or recommendation from them, so my message resonates with players from a national angle.

🎯 My end goals include:

• Create Bitcoin wallets for most/all players
• Send them sats to their LN addresses
• Make them talk publicly about Bitcoin so their fans get orange-pilled too
