Since breaking my foot I’m now an old man

I start the day off with a murdoku puzzle and a cup of tea

Then I make my wife breakfast

Then I play a little guitar, cycle a bit if my foot feels okay

Then I go online

It’s such a peaceful way to start the day

Gm

Looking for a long form interview into how bitcoin grid mining works?

Here ya go

This Bitcoin CEO Says 60% of Revenue Comes From the Grid: Bipin Patel Interview, Flexionics

So are you guys all working the hardest you’ve ever worked in your lives….

As AI gets better and better every day?

Weird right.

Gm

lol

Have any of you charmers been to Bintan in Indonesia?

For my honeymoon - I hear good things!

Gm 🌞

So I started working with a new Editor based in Georgia and I got so close to paying him in Bitcoin for the first time.. but he’s already used to using stablecoins 😭

But have no fear - I give it 4 edited videos till he accepts bitcoin.

I have a 100% success rate with people I work with :)

Gm 🌞

This air purifier mines bitcoin

I review the heatbit bitair

Gm

Fucking lol

Gm

In the interest of transparency, I am no longer sponsored by Blockstream Jade

It’s still a fabulous hardware device - my friends use it 😉

I will continue to maintain an affiliate/ discount code “cheersjoe”

Right. Time to update my website!

LLMs know too much about me

Prompt: Based on what you know about me and my interests, create a set of 8 hyper real illustrated enamel pins in a 4x5 image. 1 medium pin is a portrait of me, 1 small pin is a word that describes me, 1 small pin is my name. The style is bold, flat, bright colors, eye catching. If you don’t know enough about me yet, pull cues from the photo.

Gm

At least 100 of us are still here 😃

Who is still alive and kicking on this platform?

GM

What tools do you use to understand what weather affects where you live?

Super el niño doing super things and I don’t wanna get flooded and or pounded by waves and or earthquakes 🤣

Gm ⛅️

Spent the weekend at a mate’s 40th bday

I was the drinks trolley man for 3 days. I can’t do much else with my broken foot🤣

I met 9 new people

They were all a bit older than me, middle or upper middle class in decent jobs in london or lisbon.

1 held bitcoin. She was great. Lefty and genuinely curious about it. She was also the most “hippy” or alternative of the bunch.

3 were okay to discussing what I do as long as focused on the human rights stuff.

Most had a chip in their shoulder about bitcoin - it showed - and I was pretty reluctant to bring up my profession and hobby!

Whenever i meet new people, even friends of friends, (who you would hope wouldn’t think I’m a scammer coz why would their mate be friends with a scammer…) I’m still shocked at how damn early we are

Gm

Every time crypto exchanges and crypto people ask for information like this I feel it is my duty to troll them.

But some of them believe me then spend more time in bitcoin 🤣

One day I pray that some crypto project might actually pay that absurd amount.

Gm

Still so so early it’s insane

This is putting me in the best mood

007 goldeneye live

Yep. Yepyepeyep

Gm 🌞

Do things and know when to stop doing things

My friend is asking where to find a wasabi coinjoin coordinator

Can anyone help out?

Aww man looks like we were right again

Gm

Remember when Elon accepted bitcoin for just 49 days?

Did Bitcoin Just Pass Elon Musk’s Strange Test?

💀

“Iraq has WMDs”

“Wear a mask”

“Ready for war”

Mainstream media is a marvel isn’t it.

How fucking dare they?

I’m explaining to my mother in law that half of her instagram is ai slop

She watches an INSANE amount of slop.

does it matter though? It’s not that bad, right?

Idk I can’t help but get the feeling that someone along the chain is getting ripped off; we’re watching brain dead mush and we’re enabling truly shitty get rich quick “creativity”.

It’s been over a month and I’m now v impressed with Freedomia

It’s become my card on:

Bolt, uber, Amazon, and flower gifting sites.

You can top it up with Bitcoin AND LIGHTNING

https://www.freedomia.io/a/cheersjoe

And use dirty fiat when you must.

Eg tonight.

I’m home alone as my friends just left to go the d&b night. (I can’t walk).

I’m now ordering pizza on bolt food (like doordash)

I sent €20 in lightning to Freedomia and it topped up.

I used the Freedomia visa card in bolt.

I am now waiting for pizza

Yay 🍕

Back in the gym. Somewhat.

move your body 🕺

Do it for me. I wish I could!!

Gm

Why do people assume ai is going to slow down

Surely it’s gonna just speed up…?

Interesting thoughts in the comments. Thanks.

Seems like the Nostr brain is not that into bitcoin podcasts unless they’re genuinely useful and/or highly specific

Gm

Do you think people just naturally move on from bitcoin podcasts after say 5 years?

Anyone listening after more than 5 years?

Monday innit

Gm

I dare you to brighten someone’s day 🌞

Whoopsie I meant 5/9/2026

I am still on quite a lot of pain management 😅 😅

5/9/2027

I made a vow to the most wonderful woman in the world.

I am a very lucky man.

In light of my broken foot, I am putting the right foot forward into marriage 🧡🧡

Gm 🌞

What’s up everybody?

I’ve been offline a bit

Gm 🌧️

anyone know where i can buy a canvas print of the bitcoin whitepaper? shipping to EU please

Gm 🌞

I’ve completely redone my pc and recording setup since breaking my foot

It now looks like adult soft play ffs.

But basically, I can now crawl around rather than on crutches 🤣

Gm 🌞

I am quite pleased with Freedomia so far

You top up the card with bitcoin lightning and it’s a working VISA card

Very low KYC, too!

I’ve been using it for wedding stuff and IMO it’s better than RedotPay or competitors.

Please recommend me other Bitcoin Lightning friendly fiat payment cards that you know of though!

I’m always trying to work out how best to live on Bitcoin.

Try Freedomia and get perks here; here: https://www.freedomia.io/a/cheersjoe

Gm Nostriches ⛅️

Thank you so much for the kind words you wonderful lunatics!!

I’m quite emotional currently so I’m welling up on the way to the hospital reading through

It’s so heartening to know that us bitcoin and privacy and freedom oriented folks look out for one another!

Gm

Sorry I’ve been so quiet

I tore some ligaments in my foot

And broke a couple of bones in it just to be sure 💀

For me this is actually what burn out looks like.

Every time I push work and stress too hard, it’s my body that gives up on me first.

I had a panic attack during the MRI scan to confirm that I am indeed totally utterly butterly burnt out.

Crutches for 4-6 weeks and a lot of trying to learn from this.

Yippee

I will be in the shower or on my bike or surfing and I’ll suddenly get this rush of rage remembering cold card

It’s just so fucking ridiculous that the most badass hardware wallet was not doing its job

Gahhhh. Fuck man.

Gm!

What are your favourite free bitcoin tools?

For me it’s BTCMap, blue wallet, wasabi’s coin join (not technically free but basically), BitKit, stacker news and here

Gm 🌞

Every family is fucked up and weird in its own right

Every family fights

Here’s a reminder to reread don quixote

That silly old book!

#day1

I got out of bed

I made to half cycle to the beach.

I got into the sea up to my waist. Then went back to bed

🤣 I’ve been poorly

Offline for 24 hours.

Wiped out by some bug 🤢

I log back into this platform and this is my one notification

Apparently, I have a “suspected” Jewish nose

Did I miss anything else?
