What a historic night for
💛🖤, #Bitcoin 🧡 and #Nostr💜!
🇪🇺 Returning on the European football stage!
🤜 Beating Maribor 2:1 with #Bitcoin on our side
⚽ 1st goal scored by Nigerian 🇳🇬 Anthony Ujah
⚽ 2nd goal scored by ₿ULLgarian 🇧🇬 Nikola Iliev
Both scorers will be Bitcoiners (we hope very soon).
#11 Anthony runs a foundation in Nigeria for kids & women. 🤌 He needs #Bitcoin to to grow his foundations' endowment and to send money for free to Nigeria.
#21 Nikola grew up in Botev's academy, then moved to @Inter, playing with their fantoken jersey. Last month, he ditched Inter to come back to Botev wearing the special 21 #Bitcoin jersey and scoring the winning goal in yesterday's 2:1 🔥 🤌 He needs #Bitcoin to multiply his salary's purchasing power in his rising career.
I am preparing my best presentation for Anthony, Nikola and the 30-player squad reinforced with short videos from #Bitcoin players Alex Crognale, Kieran Gibbs, and Nigerian Bitcoiner
.
Yesterday's historic win was also supported by our lifelong 12th player - the fans. Including a #Bitcoin stand with 50 strong local Bitcoiners cheering Botev right above the 17-meter long banner:
👊 If you understand Bitcoin, you buy it. 👊
The clear message was broadcast on national Bulgarian and Slovenian TV reaching +1 million European homes, restaurants, and pubs.
rightfully calls Bitcoin to be Europeans' mithril. At we see the greatest game of all time as the trojan horse for millions of people to take the orange pill.
While fans won't watch 's 's talk at , they will follow their beloved players.
Problem: Messi, Ronaldo, Man City, PSG and many more are overtaken by memecoins and fantokens. They are lost. And it will take them years to come to the bright orange side.
We at Botev, on the other hand strive to be like @MicroStrategy and El Salvador. We know Bitcoin is the way. It is the hard way, but the right way - for our players, fans, for #football and #sports!
In 2020, few knew MicroStrategy or El Salvador. ⏩ 4 years of hard work: ⭐ MicroStrategy is the Bitcoin company that has outperformed every stock. 🙌 El Salvador is the Bitcoin country that has become the safest place in the western hemisphere.
In 2023, very few knew . ⏩ 9 months of hard work: 🏆 Won the Bulgarian Cup 🇪🇺 Returned to UEFA Europa League with a historic win 💜 +100,000 social media followers (including 4,000 followers on Nostr!) 🎥 Got a documentary by ; ;) 🤝 Partnered with for a Botev branded Aqua Wallet ⚡ Launched Bolt member cards with 🇸🇻 Established a holding company in El Salvador to accumulate Bitcoin tax free 🤫 And so many more world-first #Bitcoin x #Football projects that we have upcoming.
Where will Botev be in 1-2-3 years?
It will be the #Bitcoin football club that Manchester City follows like Dell today follows MicroStrategy.
