#GM my #nostriches

I need some help.

I need your favorite Nostr essays (30023) naddr.

I am in the process of loading up my openclaw instance with naddr of some of the best essays on Nostr to help it understand where

stands on the different topics and issues in the #bitcoin and #nostr community.

This was the best market research ever for video on #nostr

Thank you

!!!

Releasing

on

at the same time as everything else just feels right.

#nostr is winning.

Attending

was the most consequential thing I have done in my entire 'career'. Sharing/debating ideas with some the smartest people I've ever met, pushed me to be a better technical communicator and developer. Highly recommend for any builders in the #bitcoin and #nostr space.

Next cohort starts Sept 1st.

This was good. Does anyone know if this guy is on #nostr?

nostr:npub1yz8n8jf7zye7ew6yftqr4hes6s3zlamaygr8amzkw05lwnqwjz5svspxp7post went viral today for #Nostr standards and I got me thinking...

One of the things

first noticed when we started

was just how isolating it can be as a solo #bitcoiner. Today made me think that we may be compounding that effect being on #nostr. I haven't seen anyone else talking about this #tiktokban and how it is proving the power we all hold. They organized on #tiktok and made an app famous overnight.

Telling people to "get on Nostr" isn't working.

We need to definitively say "get on {app}". We know it doesn't matter which one it is, but for people who are just looking for a new social media app they don't value that value prop. They do value "nobody can take this one away from you" value prop. we should lead with this.

Thankful for normies like my wife who try to be the bridge for these two worlds. She is why

exists. We are literally building an app to market to the soon to be #tiktok refugees

Algorithms are the middlemen of the information industry. They extract as much value as possible from our data and then distort reality by controlling what is "popular".

If I login to Twitter right guarantee the first thing i see is an Elon post. Where as I rarely see

we he posts. I usually see someone's repost. That's why #nostr is the true town square.

why does the #bitcoin exchange rate show $140000 when I use strike to zap on #nostr?

Today was one of those days were I am too bullish about #nostr to even think straight. I've decided that #nostr is actually more important than #bitcoin when it comes to fixing the world. We the #plebs have spent generations leaving under the filter or algorithm is one group or another. Think about what is the Catholic church if not an algorithm that decided what was the truth and what wasn't.

We need nostr because we need to be able to tell the truth directly to one another regardless of it hurts your feelings.

For example I recently discovered a YouTube channel called "The Research Guy". The just of his channel is that most "black" people in America are actually native Americans from tribes that have been scrubbed from the public consciousness. When I first watched a couple of his videos I thought he was full of it. But then I found another YouTube channel with the same theory and information but I liked the way he presented it. Between these two channels they convinced me to do my families genealogy and I discovered my mother's side of the family is definitely native Americans. The Pequot of New England. Ironically they where one of the first tribes to fight the colonist over them counterfeiting their money... Wampum. As I was reading this I couldn't stop laughing. I am descended from people who physically fought inflation of their currency.

Today the "The research guy" made an announcement that he believes his videos are being shadow banned. I am lucky enough to be alive and awake enough where I was able to see this content on YouTube before it was censored and "do my own research". But if they have been able to keep this from me a 40 y/o man, and his mother, what else are they able to simply memory hole. They been running their algorithms on us for a lot longer than the internet. And we all kinda accept that to some degree myself included.

But today it became personal. Today I finish the fight my ancestors started 💜✊🧡

I'm looking for help doing some design mockups. I could do it myself but that would take way too long for me to learn how and it wouldn't be nearly as good as a professional.

Don't know what the going rate for mockups is but I'm willing to pay in #Bitcoin if the price is reasonable.

DM me with a link to your latest project if you're interested. Or tag someone you think might be interested. The only requirement is that they are on #nostr. I don't give a fuck about your LinkedIn or linktree or linkedidooblah.

After switching to my sovereign lightning address, some payments aren't making it though. I'm assuming the payer can't find a route from their node to mine. What are some the best nodes to open channels with for the most connect-ability. Does amboss give me a way to search/visualize this?

This may be another point for putting the #bitcoin in #nostr via ecash in my opinion

Question for the day. What is the popular framework for building PWA #Nostr clients? It's been a while since I did front end work. I'm a js/node guy. Is nuxt still a thing? Or what is the new hotness?

I just need some for basic prototyping and iteration. Not trying to build anything to heavy.

#GM #nostr family. Just onboarded two more Bitcoiners this morning. They came in with a checkbook and left with a #bitkey. And they were so sweet. They immediately wanted to buy more for their grandkids.

#Bitcoin #adoption

Big tech has normalized so many things on the Internet that people think it has always been that way and always will.

What younger people don't realize is that it's not the case. And what older generations have a hard time expressing is how free the Internet used to be.

#nostr and what it represents made me nostalgic for the old Internet and hopeful that we might see it again one day.

; yet another concept that would be impossible on legacy social media. Someone would just change the password and the fun would end.

Keep #nostr weird

P.S. do we know who started this. They deserve a #zap

Shower Thought:

I've been thinking about the concept of "Nostr Hemispheres". Since there is no algorithm you tend to only see what people who are in your "hemisphere" post. This idea of Hemispheres is interesting to me because once a client implemented some concept of this, you could then impersonate different Hemispheres to see what Nostr is like during other times of the day. For example what is nostr like in SE Asia "in the morning"? Do they all say #gm?

CC:

This episode was a great topic

brought up on the spot. I hope this movement to block celebrities gains traction even if it only makes people more aware of how little control they have on these platforms. I still think we should focus on the content creators and they will bring their audiences.
