20+ years building systems. This is the one that matters.
This is not a social media platform. This is an attention marketplace.
Platforms are designed for control. Marketplaces are designed for sovereignty.
We built two protocols to make this marketplace possible: PROMO Protocol for marketplace interactions. Telescope Protocol for Bitcoin-native timekeeping.
The PROMO Protocol provides the data set for this marketplace. Anyone can build the best implementation. Billboard is the first.
By using Nostr as the data layer for coordination and orchestration, we ensure that nobody can silo this marketplace.
The Telescope Protocol provides logical partitions for the data of a marketplace whose only medium of exchange is Bitcoin.
This is what happens when you understand Bitcoin and Nostr deeply enough to see how broken everything else is. And how we can fix it.
