Mostro

Curious about what #Mostro is and how to use it? 🤓

Mostro is a way to exchange #bitcoin in #LightningNetwork #p2p without KYC on #Nostr.

So far there are 2 Mostro clients being developed although we want to do more thanks to community collaborations. Take a look: https://github.com/MostroP2P

For now there is an exchange limit between 100 and 20,000 sats per trade.

You can try these 2 clients:

👉 Web client: https://mostro.bilthon.dev (https://github.com/MostroP2P/mostro-web). Privacy lover? Generate a new identity in each exchange! ;)

👉 CLI Client:

This one is focused on devs and to test the Mostro daemon, it has so far implemented more functionalities than the web client.

🔥 You can also install the Mostro daemon locally or on a VPS to have your own Mostro and then help decentralize it. All guides to do it at: https://github.com/MostroP2P/mostro

Did you know you can now buy or sell Sats with any fiat currency on #Nostr ?

#Mostro lets you do it! P2P #Bitcoin exchange without KYC, and using the #LightningNetwork. Fully foss. It's unstoppable!

⚡️We want to make #P2P Bitcoin trading even easier and more accessible for everyone, so we're planning to release more Mostro clients.

Currently, we have two clients running: a web client (mostro.bilthon.dev) and Mostro-cli (https://github.com/MostroP2P/mostro-cli).

📲 Next up is a mobile client! If you'd like to help with its development, we've created a Reward Board with Sats for those who solve issues

We must clarify that Mostro isn't a company but an open source project 🙏The amounts offered are a way to thank for collaboration and are thanks to the generous donation of contributors, mostly anonymous, but also to important institutions that have given us grants such as HRF
