Love this kind of monochrome look!

I have now, for the first time, completed a sketchbook!!! 🎉

It is such a joy to flip through it and see the #proofofwork of my daily sketches over the past 2.5 months.

I thought about stopping here. Because the end of a book is closure. Because it would be nice not to feel obligated to do one every day. Because there are other art things I want to focus on.

I thought about continuing to a new 4” x 4” sketchbook. Because Mom has more flowers I want to draw and know the names of. Because I love looking back at the accumulated drawings. Because I thought of a theme for July’s drawings.

Valid reasons on both sides.

Going to keep going for now. 👍

One of the several pillows I use to prop up my foot during this time of healing.

Also, the last of a whole month of daily sketches!!!! First time I’ve ever done that (second photo is all those pages together.) 😍✍️🗓️
