Right before the Oslo Freedom Forum, Tanja attended the
Convergence three intense days in Oslo where builders, researchers, and thought leaders from the Freedom-Tech scene came together.
They worked on decentralized systems, Bitcoin, Nostr, and AI. The focus was on building open systems that protect freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of transaction in the digital space. Technologies like Nostr, Bitcoin, and decentralized infrastructure are playing an increasingly important role.
They enable people and communities to communicate freely, organize, and create new things without central control. It wasn’t just about watching; it was real work: thinking together, building together, forging strong connections, and taking home inspiring ideas that drive the mission around Bitcoin and decentralization forward.

Education is key:
Last week, Charlie had the wonderful opportunity to give a lecture in the Sustainability and Environmental Management degree program.
At the beginning, the mood was noticeably reserved many people initially perceive Bitcoin mining as nothing more than an energy guzzler without any real societal benefit. An absolutely understandable attitude, especially in this field.
As the evening progressed, however, perspectives opened up: Mining proved to be surprisingly versatile as a flexible electricity consumer, for meaningfully monetizing curtailment under §13k EnWG, for utilizing waste heat in district heating networks, or for stabilizing the power grid.
A healthy dose of skepticism remained, but the students were visibly fascinated by the many sustainable areas in which Bitcoin mining is already making valuable contributions today.
It’s exactly these shifts in perspective that make such events so enriching A heartfelt thank you to Uwe Holzhammer for the invitation and to the dedicated students for the open and lively discussion.

This weekend, the LesFemmesOrange International Women’s Day event took place – featuring inspiring talks, workshops, and plenty of exchange around Bitcoin.
Among the speakers were Dr. Lukas Neumeier (quantum researcher)

Today was the day: a full four hours of interactive workshop at the Karl Kübel School in Bensheim, as part of the project week
“Future Finance: Investing, Bitcoin, Crypto & Digital Euro”
Out of 50 possible topics, 20 students deliberately chose our course – and wow, what a group!
The prior knowledge was genuinely impressive: many had already been studying Bitcoin on their own, and some are even actively saving in BTC.
The level was so high that we were able to dive deep into the fundamentals of money, scarcity, sound money, and why Bitcoin redefines all of this.
We discussed, demonstrated, questioned – and above all: the students asked great questions and truly engaged with the topic. It was a real joy to accompany such curious, open-minded young people and give them solid, grounded knowledge along the way.

We have been given half a day to explore one fundamental question with students:
What actually is money?
Our focus: Bitcoin. Because understanding Bitcoin forces you to understand money itself.
We were invited by the head of the project week a Bitcoiner himself, orange-pilled by

from Berlin visited vema + Kläger Group and delivered a powerful introductory workshop on Bitcoin and our current monetary system for our employees.
Morning and afternoon sessions – more than 30 participants in total. The feedback was consistently great and the program a real success.
Afterwards, we hosted a cool Energy Lab and site tour for the speakers together with our team from Terahash – and even we learned a few new and exciting details along the way.

Trust through mathematics instead of institutions Instead of “trusted” intermediaries, he created a system based on open mathematics and economic incentives. It has been running for over 17 years without central control.

The netforum was a truly special event for us at Terahash: Two days full of exchange, inspiration, and visions of the future surrounding digitalization, sustainability, and innovation.
We were actively involved in double ways – with our participation in the panel discussion as well as the elevator pitch.
Why we were there?
👉 Because larger mining facilities are very similar in their construction and requirements to data centers – and that's exactly where exciting interfaces emerge. The netforum was therefore the perfect opportunity for us to make contacts in this industry and take away new impulses.
A huge thank you to the outstanding team at dtm Datentechnik Moll GmbH for the perfect organization and for two inspiring days right on Lake Constance.
