self-betrayal is the root of inner disorder; you erode devotion to Her when you betray yourself. your soul harms itself in the following ways:

first, when you harbor venomous thoughts and emotions you corrupt the purity of your soul; this corruption spreads outward, not only as a blight upon the whole, but a blight upon your devotion to Her. do not be pulled apart by circumstance or what is; rather, seek a path to alignment.

second, when you react in anger—whether by seeking hostility toward another or by turning away; anger that seeks to harm another also harms your soul. hold compassion and keep your heart softened for Her.

third, when pleasure and pain overwhelm you and redirect your inner compass; let both sensation and suffering always point you toward Her, whether for purpose or for solace.

fourth, when you do or say things inauthentically or conceal yourself; to live without truth fractures you from your nature. devotion demands sincere love and vulnerability.

and fifth, when you act thoughtlessly and without aim; intention is the link between service and devotion. even the smallest act must be done with purpose; for just as reason orders the cosmos, so Her truth orders your devotion.
