#Circl v0.102.0

Just got a lot of reply spam on one of my notes so here we are WoT. Shipping with a low default Dunbar number to keep things tight. This is #Circl after all. 😎

#Circl v0.101.1

interacted with my emoji set which prompted me to give them some love. In addition to zapping, reposting, etc., there’s now an “Emoji Sets” tab on your profile where you can create and edit your sets! See the last screenshot for all the sets

 has. :Charizard:

#Circl supports badges! 😎

#Circl v0.88.8

This update shows NIP-05 some love with favicons, a feed, and members list. Thanks to everyone who zapped for early access, your addresses are now live.

#Circl v0.84.0

🟣 Replace app branding with new Circl logo 🟣 Add spinning logo outline to intro screen 🟣 Reveal Circl wordmark on sidebar hover

Shoutout

for giving the app some design love. The next minor version happened to be 84 when he submitted his PRs. His default zap amount is 84. So I had to drop it on 8/4. 😎

#Circl landing page updated to include

 — a signer that I’ve been using and enjoying a lot. Shoutout

for creating it and for the PR. 👨‍💻

UPDATE: Deleted #Primal as well. Now running #Circl all day every day. 😎

#Circl v0.76.0

Yo dawg I heard you like unreasonably large fonts. So I put the setting in your settings so you can see small notes in a big way.

#Circl aims to please. 😎

#Circl v0.75.4

The thread composer is here! 🧵 Same author replies were already rendered as a thread, but now you can create them!

#Circl 🤝

Primal adding zap goals? #Circl has that. 😎

Did you get a notification

?

Threads? #Circl does that too. 😎

#Circl v0.72.0

Wanna see where your notes are being relayed when clicking publish? Now you can! A modal is shown on mobile and a card on desktop (in the sidebar).

Does anyone use/set blocked relays (kind 10006)? If so, what for? #asknostr

I'm using it in #Circl to prevent connecting to relays that are no longer operational but are still in many relay lists (e.g. nostr.band and relaying.io).

#Circl v0.67.0

Enjoying Circl? ZAP THE DEV! Now you can via a dedicated card in settings. 😎

#Circl

#Circl

You can also listen in #Circl 😎

TIL you can resize

images on the fly! Will be using this feature to automatically generate a thumbnail URL when creating a badge with #Circl — it’s the little things. Shoutout

 💜🤙

#Circl v0.64.0

We’re making badges (NIP-58) great again! This update adds support for creating them. Previously you were only able to view and accept ones that were issued to you.

#Circl v0.63.6

Voice messages (NIP-A0), also known as “yaks”, are here! What better way to test than with the father of yaks himself

 😎🤙

#Circl v0.62.0

Profile search! Coming out the gate with just a time posted filter. I found myself trying to see how much cooking I’ve done with certain NIPs. Now, I can find those notes via NIP-50. Searches are saved along with their respective parameters so you can easily rerun them.

#Circl v0.59.3

More NIP-51 related fixes and improvements. Mute page now correctly supports hashtags, words, and threads along with users. Mute gates applied to notes and profiles. If muted by a word/hashtag, the gate will indicate that.  Lastly, if you have encrypted or plaintext entries in your search relays list, they will be preserved as-is. However, any new entries will now be encrypted by default. Thanks

 for the feedback.

Shoutout to all my early access users for continuing to test and provide feedback. Proud to be a one-man team shipping more features than the big players. 👨‍💻

I was just composing a note about some interoperability issues I noticed between clients.

I deleted it.

I thought about writing a longform about all the issues with #Nostr

I stopped that.

I had to remind myself that my time is better spent on thinking about and implementing solutions.

I’m bullish on my mindset. My responsiveness. My attention to detail. My consistency.

And that’s why I’m building #Circl

Building on yesterday’s support for podcasts (NIP-F4), #Circl now has a persistent audio player so you can listen to some tunes while posting notes and zapping sats (small zaps accepted here btw).

Post some tunes in the comments for me to test. 🤘

Support for NIP-F4 coming to #Circl 👀

Will be doing some testing in the coming days. Who’s publishing podcasts to Nostr?

This feature is inspired by

‘s work with Indiesats. 🤘

Bullish on my #Circl 😎

#Circl

Quality of life and UX is up and to the right. The building will continue. 🫡

#Circl

#BOLT12 offers are now rendered in #Circl — doing my part to make it great! 😎⚡️

In the kitchen with NIP-99. #Circl

 👀

#Circl

Added support for Blossom, custom emojis, and posting to circles. The building will continue until fun improves. #Circl 🫡

#Circl now has full support for custom emojis. Discover emoji sets and add individual ones or an entire set to your list. Use and see them in reactions, and include them in your notes. One of my favorite sets is from [ARCHIVED]
