#Christian #violence fits a broader historical pattern: when any belief system becomes #fused with #state #power and claims #moral #absoluteness , it produces #persecution and #mass #violence.

#Christianity is simply the most #documented example because it held #power the longest.

And it continues … +

So sure: #fuckthestate #fuckthesystem but understand WHY & how they maintained control. Please 🙏

#Hypatia of #Alexandria #weeps again.

Not because the library burned. She already mourned that.

She weeps because people still confuse authority with truth, because they call conquest “preservation” and canon “knowledge.”

She taught #mathematics under open #sky . She traced #ellipses while #gods argued politely in the margins. She #believed the #universe could be approached without #permission without #fear without a final answer stapled shut.

They didn’t #kill her for being wrong. They #killed her for #refusing to #kneel to certainty.

Her body was torn, yes, but that wasn’t the real violence.

The real #violence was declaring inquiry #heresy and #curiosity a #threat

So when modern builders say “We’re restoring Alexandria” and lead with the very text that crowned orthodoxy king,

Hypatia weeps because the #lesson wasn’t #lost it was ignored. Again.

#Alexandria didn’t die in flames. It died when questions became dangerous.

And every time someone rebuilds the shelves, but not the #courage , she weeps again.

Not loudly. Mathematicians rarely do.

Just a quiet, eternal grief for a species that keeps choosing answers over wonder.

Yep, ima still big mads on this.

One person was killed and two were injured in a shooting at a Dallas Immigration Customs and Enforcement facility Wednesday morning, Homeland Security officials said.
Dallas police responded at around 6:40 a.m. after a shooter opened fire on a government building from an adjacent building, according to Dallas Police Department spokesperson Jonathan Maner. The two injured were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, and the suspect is dead, Maner said.
Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said on Fox News that the victims were “potentially detainees” and not #ICE officers, and that the attacker was shooting from an apartment building.
No ICE officers were injured, the agency’s deputy director, Madison D. Sheahan, said on Fox News.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi L. Noem had said on X that there are multiple fatalities and injuries, and that she did not yet know of a motive for the shooting.
The FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are on the scene, federal officials said.
