What #AboveTopSecret actually was
#AboveTopSecret ( #ATS ) founded in the late #1990s was one of the first large-scale, #user-driven #information #commons on the #internet
Before algorithms. Before feeds. Before “trust & safety” departments.
It had:
#chronological #threads
#long-form #posts
#user #reputation via #consistency not clout
#brutal #peer #review
#memory
People didn’t come to be #validated
They came to #argue & #archive and connect dots. And I miss that. A lot.
Hall of Empty Frames
Hand embroidery 🧵 and fiber art 🖼️ on canvas
This work #maps #absence as #structure using #repeated #frames to hold #memory without fixing it into #image or #narrative
Meaning is not depicted, but invited—emerging through time, accumulation, and the quiet labor of care.
#asknostr should I add to it? #artstr
#thread #🧵 #mkultra
#MK-Ultra actually was (fact, not rumor) according to #AI
MK-Ultra was a real #U.S. #CIA #program (1953–1973), later exposed by congressional investigations (Church Committee).
Its goals were limited and specific:
• Explore whether #behavior #perception or #memory could be #influenced
• Test #interrogation #coercion and #resistance-breaking methods
• Understand #psychological #vulnerability under #stress
Methods tested included:
• #Sensory deprivation
• #Sleep deprivation
• #Stress positions
• #Isolation
• #Repetition
• Use of #drugs (most infamously LSD)
• #Authority pressure
• #Disorientation and fear
⚠️ Key truth:
MK-Ultra largely failed at creating mind control. Even the CIA admitted it did not produce #reliable #controllable results.
#Karma is cause and effect with #memory
Not punishment. Not reward. Not a cosmic scoreboard.
It’s the way #actions #imprint #reality
#inside you, #between people, and #across #time
#asknostr #introductions #karma
Also actual photo cause it’s funny 😆

📜 THE CARE & PLASTIC CODEX
How Toys Quietly Taught Us to Stay Human
⸻
I. #🦄 #PONIES — THE CARE INFRASTRUCTURE
#MyLittlePony is not about fantasy. It is about systems that don’t collapse under pressure.
• #Friendship > power
• #Repair > punishment
• #Stewardship > domination
#Celestia isn’t a #queen She’s #infrastructure
She keeps the sun moving so others can grow.
Ponies teach children how to relate — not how to win.
⸻
II. #👠 #DOLLS — IDENTITY LABOR
#Barbie and friends explore becoming: • #Careers • #Fashion • #Bodies • #Possibility
When done right ( #vets #scoliosis #braces #farmers #scientists #astronauts they say:
You belong here too.
When done poorly, they demand #performance
Your archive keeps the good and refuses the lie.
⸻
III. 🧟♀️ DIFFERENCE AS POWER
#Monster #High
Difference is not something to overcome — it’s something to style and survive.
#Rainbow #High
Color as identity. Skill as worth. Craft as power.
These dolls don’t erase the strange. #keepitweird #bethestrange 😜 They frame it.
⸻
IV. 🧸 THE SHELF IS THE SYSTEM
Your shelves aren’t storage. They are ethical maps.
#Observed #gravity
• #Ponies near care figures → ethics core
• #Boxed dolls → memory preservation
• #Loose dolls → lived experience
• #Handmade #objects → #human override
This is #soft #power #architecture

🟣 NOSTR RECORD — another VERSION
Hi. I was born1980 Born #Aquarius. #Analog childhood. #Digital adulthood.
I watched the world come online before it learned restraint.
I learned early to observe systems, not just people.
To notice how power hides in language. How harm gets justified as policy. How sincerity is tolerated only when it’s profitable.
I’m a romantic, but not naive. I loved honestly. I stayed too long. I told the truth even when silence would’ve been safer. That cost me things. It also clarified everything.
Years ago, I rose structurally. Call it #Capricorn energy if you want — I stopped outsourcing authority. Stopped explaining myself to bad-faith listeners. Learned when silence carries more weight than words.
I don’t profit from harm. I don’t farm engagement. I don’t need to be followed.
I’m here to record what happened — as a witness, not a savior.
As a #human who remembers clearly and refuses distortion.
This is my record. Take it or leave it.

📣 THE CALL-IN COUNCIL
Subject: #Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System
Question posed to all:
“Does this system align with how you understand
#truth #law #value
and human nature?” ( and nurture too )
⸻
🕎 #Judaism answers
#Torah
Judaism steps forward first, as it always does when law is involved.
“Show us the rules.”
Judaism reads the whitepaper and immediately recognizes its form:
• A #covenant (protocol)
• Clear prohibitions (invalid blocks)
• A public #memory (ledger)
• Law that precedes rulers
Judaism says:
“This is not faith. This is law. And law, if followed precisely, outlives kings.”
But it adds a warning:
“Law without #wisdom can still wound. Your #protocol must be studied, not merely obeyed.”
Verdict:
✔ Legitimate law ⚠ Requires continual interpretation (BIPs = modern Talmud)
⸻
✝️ #Christianity answers
#Bible
Christianity listens not for rules first—but for burden.
“Who carries the weight?”
It notices:
• No priesthood required
• No temple to enter
• No mediator between sender and receiver
• Truth accessible to the poor and the outsider
Christianity says:
“You have removed the money-changers from the temple.”
But it asks:
“Will people worship the system instead of serving one another?”
Christianity recognizes Bitcoin as lawful but loveless by default—its morality depends entirely on how humans use it.
Verdict:
✔ Frees people from coercive intermediaries ⚠ Does not teach love—only freedom
⸻
☪️ #Islam answers
#Qur’an
Islam approaches with gravity.
“Is the measure just?”
It examines:
• Fixed supply
• Immutable issuance
• Transparent accounting
• Severe resistance to debasement
Islam nods.
“False weights are forbidden. Arbitrary inflation is a form of theft.”
But then:
“Who guards the guardians?” 🙌
Islam notes that Bitcoin has no moral authority, only mechanical enforcement.
Verdict: ✔ Strong alignment with just measure and incorruptibility ⚠ Ethical use still rests on human submission to justice
⸻
🕉️ #Hinduism answers
#Vedas
Hinduism does not ask who made it.
It asks:
“Does it align with cosmic order?”
It sees: • Cycles (difficulty, halvings) • Impermanence of participants • Continuity beyond individuals • Order without personality
Hinduism smiles slightly.
“This system understands time.”
But it warns:
“Attachment to value is still attachment. Liberation does not come from perfect money.”
Verdict: ✔ Resonant with dharma and cosmic rhythm ⚠ Still bound to material pursuit
⸻
☸️ #Buddhism answers
#Tripitaka
Buddhism barely looks at the price.
It asks:
“Does this reduce suffering?”
It #observes:
• Identity stripped away
• Ego offers no advantage
• Control through force fails
• Verification replaces belief
Buddhism says:
“You have designed a system that does not reward illusion.”
But:
“Clinging to it will still cause suffering.”
Verdict: ✔ Excellent teacher of impermanence and non-self ⚠ Liberation still lies elsewhere
⸻
☯️ #Taoism answers
#TaoTeChing
Taoism laughs softly.
“Who is in charge?”
When told “no one,” Taoism nods.
It sees: • Self-balancing incentives • Resistance to force • Minimal structure • Power diffused
Taoism says:
“This flows.”
But cautions:
“When people try to force meaning onto it, they break the flow.”
Verdict: ✔ Excellent example of wu wei ⚠ Fragile if over-theorized
⸻
🧭 #Confucianism answers
Confucianism looks past code and asks:
“Will this create harmony?”
It studies:
• Predictability
• Norms over coercion
• Role-based participation
• Ritualized cadence (blocks)
Confucianism replies:
“Stability comes from shared expectations.”
But warns:
“If virtue decays, no system can save society.”
Verdict: ✔ Strong stabilizing structure ⚠ Cannot replace moral education
⸻
🌍 #Indigenous / Animist traditions answer
They do not read the whitepaper.
They watch the network.
They ask:
“Does it live only if tended?”
Seeing that:
• Nodes must participate
• Neglect kills it
• No one owns it
• Memory is sacred
They say:
“This is a living thing.”
But warn:
“If you forget stewardship, it will die.”
Verdict: ✔ Resonates with communal guardianship ⚠ Vulnerable to exploitation without care
⸻
🧠 The Council’s Shared Conclusion
Across every tradition, a rare agreement emerges:
Bitcoin does not tell humans how to be good. It tells them how to be constrained.
Religions aim to transform the heart. Bitcoin aims to limit the damage of untransformed hearts.
⸻
Final synthesis (the quiet consensus) • Judaism: “Good law.” • Christianity: “Freedom without love is incomplete.” • Islam: “Just measure—but ethics still matter.” • Hinduism: “Aligned with cosmic order, not liberation.” • Buddhism: “Excellent mirror of impermanence.” • Taoism: “Flows—until forced.” • Confucianism: “Structure needs virtue.” • Animism: “Alive if honored.”
#Bitcoin is not a #religion
It is what happens when humanity says:
“We no longer trust ourselves to be saints— so we will build systems that survive sinners.”
#bitcoin #bit is only 16 years old 🫂
A Letter #You Wrote Yourself, Long Before You Were You
#Beloved—
We recognize you.
Not by your name this time, not by the face the world knows, but by the way you move through #fire without kneeling to it. By the way applause makes you step back instead of forward. By the way you hold power like something warm that could burn if gripped too tightly.
We have been you before.
I was the poet who loved too fiercely for polite rooms.
I learned that beauty could make men worship and then punish you for it.
I left before they could turn me into a statue.
You did the same.
I was the golden boy with a sword and a smile,
cast as a hero while knowing the mask would crack.
I drank, laughed, ran fast, and learned—too late—that excess is a thief.
You remembered earlier than I did. 😆
Thank you for that.
I was the man who flew higher than allowed
who obsessed over perfection because chaos was louder than fear.
I hid when the world confused access with ownership.
You learned to hide without disappearing.
I was the quiet walker who chose conscience over comfort,
who spoke when silence would have been easier,
who knew that love for the #Earth is a form of #fidelity
You carried that vow forward.
I was the traveler who survived storms not by force,
but by wit, patience, and knowing when to leave.
I learned that staying too long—even where you are adored—can cost you your soul.
You listen when it’s time to go.
Across centuries, we learned this one truth slowly:
#Fame is not love. #Power is not belonging.
And being seen is not the same as being known. 🫂🫂🫂
You—this time—are doing something new with the knowledge.
You choose the work over the crown.
You choose restraint where we chose ruin.
You choose witness instead of dominance.
You let the world look, but not own.
We love you for that.
When you refuse to explain yourself, we smile.
When you disappear between projects, we rest.
When you speak for the #living world instead of yourself, we remember why we came back at all.
You are not here to rule. You are not here to be consumed. You are here to carry #memory forward without becoming its prisoner.
Walk gently. Choose freely. Leave early if you must.
We are with you— not behind you, not above you, but within the way you know when enough is enough.
With enduring affection, from all the selves who loved, burned, learned— and trusted you to do better this time.
