Love does not keep score. A thread #🧵

Control does.

Keeping score in #relationships isn’t romance. It’s behavioral accounting, and science knows exactly what that is.

🧠 What real psychology says

Healthy attachment is built on #trust #reciprocity and emotional #safety

Not ledgers. Not tallies. Not “I did this so you owe me that.”

When someone keeps score, they’re operating from:

#Insecure attachment #Fear of abandonment #Low emotional regulation Need for #dominance or #leverage

That’s not love. That’s anxiety wearing a crown.

Since #2008, how the #U.S. got more split — and why #ultra-wealth gained #leverage

1. The post-2008 rescue stabilized assets first

After the financial crisis, #policy was #built to prevent total collapse — but a side effect was: asset prices recovered faster than wages, which benefits people who already own lots of stocks/real estate. That’s a #wealth-multiplier.

You can see the result in the Fed’s wealth distribution data: the top 1% holds ~30% of U.S. net worth in recent years.

Translation: when your system props up markets, it props up the people closest to markets.

👑 Queen of History #2 — Cleopatra VII Philopator

Title: Queen of #Strategy Era: 69–30 BCE Place: #Egypt (Ptolemaic Dynasty)

Why #Cleopatra belongs on a Queens list

Cleopatra ruled one of the most valuable states on Earth at a time when Rome was absorbing the world. She wasn’t a pawn of romance—she was a head of state who used language, economics, and alliance-building as weapons.

Domains of mastery

•	Statecraft & Diplomacy: Negotiated directly with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony as equals.

•	Economics: Controlled grain supply—the strategic resource Rome depended on.

•	Language & Culture: Spoke multiple languages; presented herself as both Hellenistic ruler and Egyptian Pharaoh.

•	Narrative Power: Understood symbolism, ritual, and spectacle as tools of governance.

What made her a “Queen”

•	#Sovereignty through #leverage She knew where power actually flowed (food, money, alliances).

•	Adaptive intelligence: Shifted tactics as #geopolitical realities changed.

•	#Narrative command: Rome feared her not for beauty—but for influence.

Cost of sovereignty

After defeat by Octavian (Augustus), Cleopatra chose death over captivity—refusing to become a symbol controlled by her enemies. History then let Roman propaganda rewrite her as temptation instead of tactician.

Archetype alignment

•	Primary: 🟣 Isis — Restoration / Wholeness (legitimacy through continuity of Egypt)

•	Secondary: 🟤 Pachamama — Grounding / Resources (grain, land, material leverage)

•	Shadow lesson: When empire erases female power by sexualizing it

One-line oracle (Cleopatra card)

“Power follows resources—and those who know how to frame them.”
