🥏⚡️ On-Chain Disc Golf — Looking for Testers!

Hey everyone! I've been building a disc golf scorekeeping app with integrated Bitcoin payments and I'm looking for testers from the disc golf/Bitcoin/Nostr community.

This project is the PROUD winner of the Nuttiest Nut award and I plan to keep building it out!

What it does:

🥏 Track scores for disc golf, ball golf, foot golf, putt putt — any golf! ⚡️ Instant Bitcoin settlement via Lightning (no more "I'll Venmo you later") 🔑 Self-sovereign identity via Nostr — you own your keys, you own your account 📱 Works as a PWA or native Android APK

Try it now: 🌐 Web App: https://app.onchaindiscgolf.com/ 📱 Android APK: https://github.com/OnChainDiscGolf/app/releases/tag/v1.0.0

⚠️ Testing Tips:

• Create a new npub/profile instead of using your real one (it's early software!)
• Start with small amounts if using the wallet features
• Found a bug? Click the ⚙️ gear icon → scroll to bottom → Submit Feedback

Looking forward to your feedback! 🥏⚡️

Thank you Cashu team!

My project, On-Chain Disc Golf, won the nuttiest nut award!

Try it out for yourself at: https://app.onchaindiscgolf.com/

Any feedback would be MASSIVELY appreciated and can be submitted through the app by clicking the gear icon, scrolling to the bottom and select Submit Feedback!

p.s. the app now has a (barely) functioning lightning, cashu and NWC wallet!

I'm going to keep building <3

My first project I've every made is for #nutnovember

Calling all Disc Golf lovers and fringe technologist! There now exists a version of uDisc (scorekeeping app) with Nostr profiles and ecash built in to it!

Landing Page: https://onchaindiscgolf.com/

The actual app: https://app.onchaindiscgolf.com/

Github: https://github.com/OnChainDiscGolf/app

I think it's a pretty novel on-boarding and payment setup for non-nostr native users right out of the box.

Open app → Nostr keypair generated Kind 0 auto sets Lightning address: [email protected] Incoming sats → npub.cash → Cashu tokens (Minibits mint) Wallet = Cashu proofs stored locally, backed up to relays Play rounds, entry fees + payouts automatically are sent to players kind 0 lightning address!

No channels, no explanations, no manual setting up addresses!

Thank you and sorry to

and

for spamming the F out of y'all's servers due to me never having setup an API before 😅

I hope to keep reiterating. I haven't been this motivated in a while and play to keep pressing hard to make this a reality on the Disc Golf course.

Plans for the future:

• Native iOS and Android
• League and Tournament Support.
• Use Nostr badges as "Tags" for leagues.

CRAZY IDEA TIME

• Implement Bitchat as a way of signing players up for rounds or leauges
• Course records and local Leaderboards based of Bitchat Geohash!?
• Prizes/badges for milestones reached in the app ie. 10 hole in ones, 100 rounds player etc...

Love y'all and thank you

"yes I have been trying to build my own Cashu wallet, how could you tell?"

Calling all nostr loving, sat sending, disc golfers!

Please join the disc golf group to try the, in-development, NOSTR BITCOIN CASHU LIGHTNING replacement to uDisc!

I have never been more excited for #nutnovember in my life.

I am (AI is) grinding sun up to sundown trying to get my app ready 🎉

(I have never written a line of code in my life)

I need to assemble a list of all disc golfers that are on nostr and like p2p digital cash systems.

If you've been on a search for no-code, all vibes, application building with AI, please stop looking and go use https://antigravity.google/ right now.

Thank you

Have y'all considered accepting on-chain tx as a way to fund your wallet?

Good news, bad news, good chart, bad chart. Doesn't matter, still buying.

Less ingredients means more money

Will blockclocks need another digit before the national debt counter?

Hey

when I select 'see more' on a post, I keep expecting for the text to expand without going inside the post so to speak. Have y'all considered making this an option?

Change is upon us
