Wasn’t sure if I could pull it off but I just survived 5 consecutive nights in a 16 bed mixed dorm hostel.
It was either $1000 for a hotel for 5 nights or some grit + $250.
Earplugs and eye mask, absolutely critical

Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026. First time attending an event without having a camera in my hands. Really glad I spent my own money to come have this experience.
My favorite panel of the conference-

6 months being single I am convinced dating apps are a waste of time.
You swipe left or right and maybe meet a girl who wants a fun evening together but odds of meeting a quality woman are extremely low.
Cold approach IRL / natural conversation leading to asking her out is the way. Actually felt something tonight for the first time in a while. Reps builds confidence and gives clarity on what you want. Gotta get out there to get the reps.

As a video maker people ask me all the time, "Is Ai going to take your job?"
My answer is two fold-
I am a creator. I will create value for my clients no matter what Ai is capable of.
I don't have a job. I work for myself.
Creativity + entrepreneurship = job security

Bitcoin as a medium of exchange threatens the fiat monetary system.
Bitcoin as a unit of account ends the fiat monetary system.

Basketball was my life growing up.
I loved the game. I loved competing. But I never earned a starting spot on the varsity team.
Most games, I came off the bench for a few minutes when our starting point guard needed a breather.
Practice was where I got to go hard. Where I could compete, push my teammates, and prove myself.
But when game day came around, I spent most of my time on the bench cheering everyone else on.
It wasn't the role I wanted. I wanted to be out there making plays, hitting shots, and helping us win.
But basketball taught me something important.
Not everyone gets to be the star. Not everyone gets the highlight reel. Sometimes your contribution is pushing your teammates in practice, bringing energy from the bench, or simply showing up when you're needed.
And when the final buzzer sounds, you win or lose together.
I think about Bitcoin the same way.
Some people are building companies. Others are writing code, educating their communities, onboarding merchants, creating content, or organizing meetups.
Some are leading the charge. Others are supporting from the sidelines.
Not every role is glamorous. Not every contribution gets recognition.
But every contribution matters.
Bitcoin isn't an individual sport. It's a team effort, and its success depends on what we're willing to contribute.
We don't all have to be the star player.
We are all Satoshi.

I have no issue with paying fees to transact on lightning but it’s a bit deceptive that the transaction history shows -21 sats but my balance went down by 25 sats.
why not include the transaction fee in the transaction history?

At restaurants I ask to pay in bitcoin even if there’s almost no chance.
0/2 today, but got a “not yet” with a smile… counting that as a small win.
It takes 0 effort. There’s 0 downside. If even 10% of us started asking it would have a massive impact.

BTC Balkans 2026- conferences are losing steam, which is why the Balkans come together to unite the communities and share ideas relevant to the region.
Awesome event and great to see everyone. Excited to publish the panel I moderated on self custody and protecting ourselves in the age of bitcoin. Also gave a keynote on why it’s in our economic interest to spend sats.
On to the big conference in Amsterdam this week. HMU if you’re in town.

Just gonna say it how it is…
If you HODL and never spend or use your bitcoin, you are a spectator, not a participant.
Bitcoin’s price goes higher when more people accept it as payment.
If you want NGU, spend and replace.
Get in the game.

Artists need bitcoin. Bitcoin needs artists.
And us bitcoiners need to spend our sats… that is, IF we want bitcoin to avoid the fate of gold.
As an artist myself I can’t tell you how much a small zap means. It’s not about the amount, but the intention.

If weight is such an issue for carry on bags then why are we not weighing the humans who get on the flight as well?
IMO doesn’t make sense to fret over 2-3kg when some people have 50kg extra weight on them.
Like most things that make 0 sense, it’s a scheme to make more money.

Especially when you know you’re going to get your ass kicked.

Non violence, non compliance, peaceful resistance is the way.

Guess what, when you spend and replace you get to smash buy more often.

Both great mediums but there’s something special about going to great lengths to tell a story and finally releasing it into the wild.

Years of preaching bitcoin to my brother and he’s never “gotten it.”
Today he called me saying he thinks bitcoin might be the only solution to many problems we see in the world today.
Just goes to show that we all find bitcoin when the time is right. He’s feeling the effects of inflation and uncertainty about the future and leading him to ask the right questions. At the end of the day, it’s an individual journey.

I had a 180° change of perspective around paying with bitcoin if the merchant is converting to Fiat.
I tried it once and it sparked such a fantastic conversation but now every time I see a square terminal, I ask to pay in Bitcoin.
If every bitcoiner (or even 10%) did this, adoption would skyrocket and we would see a completely different trajectory for bitcoin.
We are all Satoshi. No individual can go it alone. We win through collective action.

Bitcoin adoption is happening at the grassroots level in East Africa, specifically Nairobi, Kenya at a rapid pace.
This is a clip from the Bigger Than Bitcoin documentary I made with
If you want to zap Winnie, the hair salon owner, there’s a freeze frame on the QR code and her blink wallet lightning address is:
I was inspired by many stories like Winnie’s and the fact that we can simply transfer value across the world without an intermediary is so revolutionary it’s sometimes worth doing just for the sake of it. 210 satoshis = a meal in many parts of Kenya so any support goes a long ways.
