Here’s exactly how you can get where I am as well, step by step:

What you get (nearly same practical status as locals):

• Live in Paraguay indefinitely (card renewed every 10 years)
• Cédula (Paraguayan ID)
• Work freely, open bank accounts, get a RUC, sign contracts, buy property, get utilities & driver’s licence
• Enter/leave freely (re-enter at least once every 3 years)
• Permanent Residency (make sure to not be off paraguay for more than 3 years)

What you don’t get:

• No Paraguayan passport
• Voting rights only in municipal elections (not national)
• No eligibility for most public offices
• Still subject to the 3-year absence rule

1. Prepare the documents in your home country

• Valid passport (at least 6 months validity recommended)
• Birth certificate (apostilled)
• Police clearance / criminal record (for presentation abroad) (apostilled; must not be too old when you submit)

2. Contact a imigration Helper Highly recommend starting with this before or while preparing the documents.

In theory this works without one, but I don't recommend it anybody. It will take a lot longer, you will need to find everything out yourself and need good spanisch.

I used @ParaguayProfis . If you message them, write them Schnuartz sent you. You don't pay extra but you support my work.

He will give you all the advice you need.

3. Cédula and Temporary Residency

• Bring everything mentioned + Do the staff your imigration helper told you
• Paraguay Profis will bring you to the imigration center.
• You need to do fingerprints, Foto, signature etc.

3-4 Month afterwards you will receive your Cédula (like a ID in Paraguay) + your temporary Residency. -> They can send it to you or you via post to your country / a trustworthy person picks it up and brings to you.

Both last for about 2 years.

Costs: €2,2k for migration helper (includes Cedula etc) + flight (€1k from Germany) + normal vaccation costs

4. Second trip (~365 days after the first one)

• Here the time Slot is very important. You do not want to risk to be more than 365 days outside of Paraguay. so try to set this trip exactly in the middle of the 3 trips you need to do.
• Before this trip contact your imigration helper to be sure you do everything right.
• It could be the case that some extra cost come here. Prepare €900
• Nothing special more, this is for having a stamp in your passport.

5. Third Trip (~365 days afterwards)

• Timeslot is very important as well. You have 90 day time window. BUT you don't want to be more than 365 days off Paraguay.
• Speak with your imigration Helper what you need before!
• Passport, Cedula, Residency, Police card (you will receive as well the last time) is minimum
• You are doing: New picture, new fingerprints and new signature
• You get: ->Permanent resedency for Paraguay (Here it's highly recommended to not be off Paraguay for more than 3 years. Otherwise it could taken from you in theory) -> New Cedula that last for 10 years
• You will receive both under the conditions like last time after 3-4 month
• Cost is €1,7k

What I’m looking for:

• Proper detection of npubs, nprofiles, notes, nevents and other Nostr identifiers • Nostr-native media uploads using Primal’s Blossom server, e.g. blossom.primal.net • Store images and videos on Blossom instead of permanently keeping them on the self-hosted Postiz server • Auto-reposting when multiple Nostr accounts are connected, so one account can publish and selected other accounts automatically repost it • Automatically delete the local Postiz copy after the upload and Nostr post succeeded • Better relay configuration and generally deeper Nostr integration

Postiz already has basic Nostr support, but it still feels more like a generic social media integration than a truly Nostr-native implementation.

And let them communicate on Signet. It is a bit buggy cause he probably has the VPS architecture I had in the beginning but the communication between the Hardware Wallet and companion App works very well.

Also probably it makes problems when to many people are using the site, as they are probably all using the same devices at the same time.😅

People use at least three different meanings of “Bitcoin Layer 2”:

1⃣Network L2: an interoperable protocol cryptographically pegged to Bitcoin in a trustless manner. It preserves Bitcoin’s peer-to-peer nature and disintermediated verifiability, and does not use IOUs.¹

2⃣Broader technical L2: a protocol that extends Bitcoin’s functionality. Bitcoin is locked on L1 and represented or used on L2. This can involve additional trust in centralized actors or network operators, with eventual settlement back to Bitcoin.²

Bitsaga Rob built a SeedSigner Simulator in the browser.

I did the same for Specter DIY even month before. But my build was bad. It run the Specter as a simulator on a VPS and connected to the VPS to the browser. Allowing only 5 persons at once using it.

Never released it cause it was buggy. Only internally for testing the new Specter Firmware variations we are building.

But now I saw how elegant Rob had implemented it. I'm now also rebuilding mine on micropyhtong directly allowing to simulate SD-Card, QR-Scanner and Smartcards. Updates soon

Die neue Skalierungslösung von Bitcoin ist jetzt wohl Spark!

Das Senden von Spark-Transaktionen kann man sich vorstellen wie die Übertragung des Eigentums eines Hauses (Bitcoin). Du hast einen Schlüssel der ins Schloss des Hauses. Der Schlüssel vom Zahlungsempfänger passt nicht.

Wenn du eine Zahlung machst autorisierst du die Spark Operatoren (Firmen wie Lightspark oder Flashnet), das Schlüssel-Schloss zu deinem Haus auszutauschen. Dabei muss man sich vorstellen das das Schlüssel-Schloss aus mehreren Teilen besteht. Und jeder der Operatoren einen Teil des Schlosses verändert.

Danach haben wir ein neues Schloss, bei dem man kryptografisch beweisen kann das es existiert, der Schlüssel des neuen Eigentümers (Zahlungsempfänger) passt jetzt in das neue Schloss und kann in das Haus rein. Er ist der neue Eigentümer.

Und weil alle Spark Operatoren ihren Teil des alten Zahlungsschlosses vertrauensvoll vernichtet haben, kann jetzt auch der alte Eigentümer des Hauses (Zahlungssender) nicht mehr in das Haus hinein. Diese Vernichtung der Schlüssel kann allerdings nicht kryptografisch erklärt werden.

⚠️Das Risiko besteht aber, das alle Spark Operatoren sich unehrlich erhalten und ihr altes Teil des Schlosses NICHT löschen. Dann hätten wir nämlich zwei Eigentümer des Hauses. Und sowohl der Sender als auch der Empfänger der Zahlung hätten Zahlungszugriff auf die Bitcoin.
