V4V music makers, what are the primary methods you use for promo? In the old world, I’d typically do some SM posts as well as forwarding to contacts/DJs/radio etc.
I’m releasing a solo EP at the end of the month, self hosted via RSS/Podcasting 2.0. and my only social media is here and the Fediverse so visibility probably super low, add that, it’s weird electronic stuff that are closer to experiments in sound than songs. Are there any folks into weirder/left field noise/dub?
It would be great to find some appropriate ears whilst not annoying folks who might view any self promotion here as spam.
