🧡 WHY WAS HOPE WITH BITCOIN CREATED?
Sometimes, a simple question can change everything.
Back in 2024, I kept asking myself one question: What can I do to help people who are struggling? This question stayed with me throughout the year. I wanted to do something meaningful for people in need, but I didn't yet know how to turn that desire into action.
Then, in early 2025, something caught my attention on Nostr. A woman had launched a 10,000 sats challenge to help a homeless person. She was taking action and sharing proof of her work. This gave me an idea: what if I could also build a movement around Bitcoin to help people in need?
I had the idea, but I didn't take action immediately.
What really pushed me to act was a day I went to the beach in Cotonou and saw children covering their bodies with makeup and posing like living statues to collect money from passersby. They were doing this to earn enough money to meet their basic needs, including food.
That moment really shook me. Children who should be at school or spending time with their families were already struggling at such a young age just to find something to eat.
I kept thinking about it. How can we talk about changing the world when some children are struggling just to get a meal?
I knew I couldn't solve every problem, but I also knew that doing nothing wasn't the answer.
That's what pushed me to finally take action.
On January 8, 2025, I officially launched Hope With ₿itcoin on Geyser. On that same day, a contributor named Bitcoin Sandy sent 10,000 sats. Those sats made it possible for us to carry out our very first humanitarian action: buying food for two children we had met at the beach.
It may have seemed like a small action, but for me, it was the beginning of something meaningful. An idea that had stayed in my mind for months had finally become a reality.
And the name
? It was chosen by the community. 🧡
Our vision is simple: use Bitcoin to bring smiles, love, and hope to people in need. Not just through words, but through real actions, one person at a time.
Today, our mission is built around three things:
🧡 Feeding. Supporting. Educating.
We want to provide food to those who need it, support vulnerable people and communities, and introduce people to Bitcoin and the opportunities it can offer.
We are still growing, learning, and finding ways to do more. Every action teaches us something, and every person we help reminds us why we started.
Hope With Bitcoin was born from a simple question, a desire to help, and the belief that even a small action can make a difference.
This is why Hope With Bitcoin exists. And this is only the beginning.
From World, with solidarity. 🧡

Carrying out a project alone is good, but building it as a team is even better. 🤝🏾
Here is one of the projects I think about day and night. I don't talk about it very often, but it is truly close to my heart.
If you can offer help, a job opportunity, a way to earn some money, materials, skills, or any other opportunity that could help me move this project forward, it would mean a lot to me.
For those following the progress: Phase 1 is complete. The staircase is now in place. ✅
Now we are entering Phase 2: making the bricks and building the walls on the slab. 🧱
Step by step. Brick by brick. We will get there.
If you have an opportunity that could help make this project a reality, my DMs are open.
Let's build together. 🧡 #HopeWithBitcoin #Bitcoin #ProofOfWork #BuildTogether

One small step is done. Now it's time for the next one. 🧱
Phase 1 is finally done. 🥹❤
We now have access to the rooftop thanks to the staircase. 🪜 It may look like a small step, but for me, it means a lot.
Now we can start Phase 2: building the walls of the 8m × 4m space. The goal is to build the walls, structural elements
We need $821 ≈ 961,110 sats for this phase. Right now, I have 3,067 sats available.
It's going to take time, but I'm going to keep building, just like I did for Phase 1.
And I'm still open to opportunities. I don't only want people to send me sats. If you're working on something and need help with social media, community management, content creation, Canva, CapCut or other online work, feel free to reach out.
I need work. I need opportunities. And I'm ready to put in the work. 🤝

62 days later… I finally reached the first milestone. 🥹🧡
Do you remember July 22nd? That was the day I shared my goal of building a personal workspace on the rooftop of my family home, while also opening myself up to new opportunities that could help me make it happen.
Today, September 21st, I can finally say it: the staircase is done. 🪜 I now have access to the rooftop. It might look like a small thing, but for me, it means a lot.
The past two months haven't been easy. I've been taking small tasks across different platforms, trying to earn as much Bitcoin as I could and put something aside for the construction. Sometimes there were tasks, sometimes there weren't. But I kept going. Satoshi by satoshi. Step by step.
I still don't have a stable job, so I'm always open to opportunities, freelance work, collaborations, or projects where I can contribute. If you have something I could work on with you, feel free to reach out: [email protected]
You can also learn more about this construction project and support it here: https://agora.spot/[email protected]/after-building-hope-for-others-i-am-building-a-foundation-to-con
The staircase is only the beginning. There is still a lot to build, but today I'm taking a moment to appreciate this first step.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me (

Last Saturday, I took part in Proof of Life in Cotonou.
It was my first time participating in a blood donation event, and honestly, I didn’t really know what to expect.
I was there representing
, but most importantly, to do my part: donate blood.
After the donation, we spent some time with the community, talked, networked, played Ludo, cards, Scrabble… Basically, a beautiful day surrounded by great people.
In total, 105 people donated blood.
It also made me take a personal decision: to try to donate blood at least twice a year, as long as I’m able to.
Because in the end, a few minutes of our time could give someone a chance to live.
Proof of Work, Proof of Life. 🩸🧡
What about you? Have you ever donated blood?

We talk a lot about Bitcoin, technology, adoption...
But sometimes, all it takes is simply sharing what you know with someone.
On August 27, I had the opportunity to join @mwasi_na49644 for an Enseignement Meet for the first time, where we talked about Bitcoin wallets and security.
I really enjoyed the moment.
Questions, discussions, experiences... and most importantly, a real exchange of knowledge.
It reminded me that you don't have to be an expert to help someone understand Bitcoin better.
If you know something that someone else doesn't yet, share it.
You may never see how far that knowledge goes.
But maybe one day, it will help someone. 🧡
And you, have you ever taken the time to explain Bitcoin to someone around you?

🏗 The Rooftop Project : One Step at a Time
I’ve already talked to you about this project, but today I want to give you a little update and, most importantly, be honest with you.
On July 22nd, I started a project that means a lot to me: building an 8m × 4m room on the rooftop slab of my family home.
Why?
Because I want to have my own space.
A place where I can live, work, create, think, and continue building my projects.
Most importantly, I want to become more independent.
The full project is estimated at 2,414,500 FCFA (~$4,236).
Yes, that's a lot.
But I don't want to focus on the 2.4 million today.
I want to start with one first step.
🧱 The staircase.
The initial estimate for the staircase was 257,000 FCFA (~$451).
Since the launch, you have already contributed a total of 152,500 sats (~$100).
And those sats didn't just sit somewhere.
On July 25th, they allowed us to buy gravel.
Today, we already have on site:
• Sand • Gravel • Around 10 bags of cement
So yes...
The project has started. ❤
It's no longer just an idea I'm sharing with you.
There are already materials on the ground.
To complete the staircase, we mainly need to cover the steel/rebar, the ironworker's labor, the formwork, the mason's labor, and a few additional bags of cement.
Thanks to what we already have, we now estimate that we need around:
🎯 200,000 FCFA (~$351)
🎂 And my birthday is coming on September 2nd.
So I had an idea.
Why not turn my birthday into a little challenge?
200,000 FCFA before midnight on September 2nd.
Can we complete this first step together?
I don't want to call it a birthday gift.
If we reach the goal, I'll simply see it as a first step that we built together.
But there is something else I want to tell you.
I don't want to only ask the community to help me financially.
I'm also looking for work.
I'm looking for freelance missions, contracts, online work, collaborations, or any opportunity that can help me generate income and become financially independent.
I can work in several areas:
• Social Media Management • Community Management • Content Creation • Graphic Design • Video Editing • Copywriting • Web3 / Bitcoin Promotion • Community Building • And other online opportunities.
If you know someone looking for this kind of profile, please let me know.
A professional opportunity can have a much bigger impact than a one-time contribution.
And honestly...
I want to work. I want to be independent. I want to build.
I want everything to be transparent.
If you want to follow the whole project and see the progress in real time, I’ve centralized the information on the project's Agora page.
You’ll be able to follow the contributions, goals, different stages, and updates as we move forward.
I’ll also continue sharing updates here on Nostr.
You don't need to have a lot of Bitcoin to take part.
⚡ Zap this note — even a few sats count.
🔁 Repost — help me reach someone who could contribute or offer me an opportunity.
⚡You can contribute directly via Lightning or On-chain
Lightning: [email protected]
Bitcoin On-chain: bc1q4td29t6lv79hdw3fuyjpczt22pd2g23nj4nj0g
If you can't contribute financially, a simple repost can already make a difference.
Maybe the person who sees your repost will be the one who helps me take this first step.
🎯 Challenge: 200,000 FCFA (~$351)
🎂 Deadline: September 2nd at midnight
I'll continue showing you the process, step by step, without hiding anything.
July 22nd: an idea.
Today: materials on the ground.
Next step: the staircase.
And after that?
We keep building.
One step at a time. 🧱❤

" Please never give up. " Said
Having a project is great.
But having a community behind you, a community that encourages you, reminds you why you started, and walks with you as you turn your ideas into reality… is probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced on Nostr.
Having a project doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve succeeded.
And honestly, there are moments when I step back and reflect on what I’m doing. I question myself.
Is it really worth it? Will the community accept this idea? Will they believe in this vision? Will they help turn this idea into something real?
Then I look at everything we have already accomplished with
, this humanitarian project that I lead, but that I am truly building together with you, the Hope Builders.
And honestly… everything we have achieved is far beyond what I could have imagined.
Two years ago, I didn’t even have the idea of creating the project that brings us together today.
A project that allows us to bring hope, smiles, and joy to people who need it.
Of course, we are not yet able to do everything the way we would like to.
But as they say: little by little, we will achieve great things.
And personally, I deeply believe in the power of community.
Today, we are building something small.
But I believe that with time, by God’s grace, Hope With Bitcoin will become an international movement, with Hope Builders in different countries, each one creating an impact in their own communities.
I don’t know how far this journey will take us.
But one thing is certain:
I don’t want to build it alone.
Thank you to everyone building Hope With Bitcoin with me. ❤🧡
We are Hope Builders. And we are just getting started.

Spreading Hope, One Satoshi at a Time. 🌍
A week ago, I had the privilege of crossing the border to represent
in our neighboring country, Togo. 🇹🇬
I crossed that border carrying one mission and one mission only: to spread hope, one Satoshi at a time.
This journey was made possible by the community. Every contribution, every message, and every bit of support made a difference.
I’m still deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. 🧡

A dream that lasted for 3 years has finally become a reality. And it’s all thanks to you. 🧡
Last week, for the very first time, I crossed the borders of my country to represent
in Togo at the Derby Digital conference.
This trip, which simply would not have been possible without your support, means so much to me. So, from the bottom of my heart: thank you.
This journey allowed me to get the very first stamp in the passport I had obtained back in 2023. But beyond this personal milestone, it gave me the opportunity to take Hope With Bitcoin beyond the borders of Benin.
I met inspiring people, connected with members of the ecosystem, shared our vision, and discussed how we use Bitcoin to create real impact in people’s lives.
We exchanged ideas, built new connections, and most importantly, Hope With Bitcoin was offered a space where we can organize Bitcoin education activities for children. 🧡
I also had the chance to build meaningful connections with the Togolese community and with people who came from different parts of the world.
Three intense days filled with encounters, learning, sharing, and unforgettable moments.
And during these conversations, a new idea was born:
🌍Hope With Bitcoin Orphanage World Tour
A challenge to take Hope With Bitcoin from one orphanage to another, not only across Benin, but hopefully around the world.
The goal is simple: spend time with children and give them love, joy, listening, and education.
For several days in each orphanage, we want to create moments of fun, organize Bitcoin education sessions, but above all, take the time to listen to the children, hear their stories, and learn from them.
A true journey of an Hope Nomad.
A journey where, wherever we go, we leave a little bit of Hope With Bitcoin behind. 🌍🧡
Coming back home wasn’t really what I wanted. 😅 But I had to return so I could prepare for what comes next.
Because this journey reminded me of something important:
Children need us.
They need moments of joy. They need smiles. They need love. They need someone to listen to them. And above all, they need to know that they also have a place in the future we are building.
I’ll let you discover some of the pictures I took during my trip to Togo and at the Derby Digital conference. 📸🇹🇬
And once again, THANK YOU to everyone who made this journey possible.
Without you, Hope With Bitcoin might not have been able to cross the borders of Benin.
And I probably wouldn’t have gotten that first stamp in my passport so soon. 😂🧡
One country. One community. One child at a time.

🧱 A small update on my journey
It's been about two weeks since I launched my personal campaign to build a small room that will become both my home and workspace.
On July 25, I received the first contributions — 152,500 sats ($100) — and used $50 of it to purchase the gravel needed for the first phase of the construction.
Since then, I haven't received any new contributions.
But I'm still moving forward.
Yesterday, I had an interview for a Social Media Manager position. The conversation went well, and I was told that I would hear back soon. I don't know yet what the outcome will be, but I'm choosing to stay hopeful.
I'm still looking for work, freelance opportunities, collaborations, and support for the construction project.
I still believe that anything is possible.
One step at a time.
Keep learning. Keep building. Keep believing. 🧡⚡

The recent Coldcard incident is a reminder that in Bitcoin, security is a process, not a product.
More than $88 million in Bitcoin has now reportedly been stolen after attackers exploited a flaw affecting seeds generated by vulnerable versions of Coldcard firmware. What many considered one of the most trusted hardware wallets has become the center of one of the biggest wallet security incidents in Bitcoin's history.
This event teaches us several important lessons.
First, no wallet manufacturer is infallible. Whether a wallet is open source, Bitcoin-only, or highly respected, software and firmware can still contain critical bugs.
Second, self-custody comes with responsibility. The phrase "Not your keys, not your coins" remains true, but protecting your own keys also means staying informed, applying security updates, and reviewing your security model over time.
Third, trust must always be verified. Bitcoin was built on the principle of minimizing trust. That principle should also apply to the tools we use. Hardware wallets are excellent tools, but they should never be treated as perfect or beyond question.
For anyone holding significant amounts of Bitcoin, this is also a reminder to think beyond a single device: • Keep firmware up to date. • Follow security advisories from wallet manufacturers. • Consider using passphrases where appropriate. • For larger holdings, evaluate multisignature setups to reduce single points of failure.
Incidents like this can shake confidence, but they also strengthen the Bitcoin ecosystem. Every major security event pushes developers, manufacturers, and users to build better practices and more resilient systems.
Bitcoin itself was not hacked.
A wallet implementation was.
Understanding that difference is essential.
Security is not something you buy once.
It is something you continuously build.

For the past few years, I've dedicated much of my time to building
.
Together, we've raised millions of sats, supported orphanages, provided meals, distributed school supplies, and introduced more people to Bitcoin and Nostr.
But behind all of that, I've been building from a shared room in my family's home.
Today, I'm taking a personal step toward becoming more independent.
I'm raising funds to build a modest room on our existing rooftop. It won't just be my home, it will also be the workspace where I'll continue building Hope With Bitcoin, creating educational content, and working with Bitcoin projects.
I've already started the project with my own savings by purchasing the sand and cement. This campaign is simply to help me complete what I've already begun.
I'm also actively looking for remote work and collaborations in social media management, community building, content creation, and Bitcoin communications.
If my journey resonates with you, I'd be grateful if you could take a look, share the campaign, or support it in any way you can.
Every share, introduction, opportunity, or contribution means a lot.
Thank you for believing in builders. 🧡⚡ #BitcoinForGood #HelpBuildRoom

There are moments in life that remind you why your work matters.
Today, something happened that I had been fearing for a long time.
I knew this day would eventually come, but I never imagined it would arrive so soon.
I'm not wealthy.
I don't come from a rich family.
I don't have an inheritance waiting for me.
I'm simply a young man trying to build a future for myself, spending countless hours every day sending job applications here and there, hoping that someone, somewhere, will give me an opportunity.
But beyond my personal struggles, I chose to create
because I believe Bitcoin is not only about money.
Bitcoin is about people.
It is about freedom.
It is about helping each other and creating real impact.
Thanks to the incredible support of this community, we have been able to bring smiles, food, and hope to people who needed it the most.
Last year, just before the beginning of the school year, your contributions allowed us to provide school supplies to more than 22 children whose parents did not have the financial means to buy everything they needed.
To some people, it was just notebooks, backpacks, pens, and pencils.
But to those families...
It was much more than that.
It was dignity.
It was relief.
It was hope.
Many people think that I personally have a lot of money because they see the impact of these actions.
The reality is very different.
Every meal we have provided.
Every school supply we have distributed.
Every smile we have created.
It was possible because of you.
The Bitcoin community made it happen.
Today, after spending another exhausting day in my room sending CVs and searching for opportunities, I decided to go outside for a walk to clear my mind.
While walking, I heard someone calling me.
"Big brother... please wait! I want to talk to you."
I turned around and saw a woman waving at me.
As someone who respects people, I walked toward her and asked what she wanted to talk about.
She immediately reminded me of the school supplies distribution we organized last year.
She thanked me again and then asked me a simple question:
"Will you organize another school supply distribution this year?"
For a few moments, I remained silent.
Because I honestly didn't know what to answer.
I explained to her that Hope With Bitcoin is not funded by me personally.
This mission exists because of the generosity and support of the Bitcoin community.
I told her that, for now, we don't know if we will be able to organize another school supply distribution this year.
But we are praying that God sends us supporters, donors, and partners who believe in this mission and will help us make it possible.
I encouraged her to pray with us as well.
We wished each other well, and we continued our separate ways.
But her question stayed in my mind.
The new school year is only two months away.
For some families, this is a moment of excitement.
For others, it is a moment of anxiety because they don't know how they will provide the basic school materials their children need.
That woman's question was not just about notebooks or backpacks.
It was a reminder.
The impact we created last year gave people hope.
And today, some of them are still believing in us.
To everyone who has supported #HopeWithBitcoin:
Thank you.
You didn't just provide school supplies.
You showed families that they were not forgotten.
You proved that a small act of kindness can create a lasting impact.
This year, we are preparing our next mission:
Providing 50 complete school kits to children whose families cannot afford them.
Each kit will cost $25, meaning we need to raise $1,250 to make this possible.
With Geyser's 5% platform fee included, the total fundraising goal is $1,312.50.
If you want to be part of this mission, you can support us.
If you cannot contribute financially, sharing this message is already a powerful way to help.
Every contribution.
Every satoshi.
Every share.
Can help a child return to school with dignity and confidence.
Two months from now, 50 children will begin a new school year.
Together, let's make sure they carry more than a backpack.
Let's make sure they carry hope. ❤️

It all started with a few lines and a vision.
In January 2025,
was just an idea in my mind: use the strength and generosity of the Bitcoin community to create real impact for people in need.
Today, that vision is slowly becoming reality.
Thanks to the support of the community and the recognition from
, has been highlighted alongside inspiring initiatives like Bitcoin Benin and other Bitcoin projects working across Africa.
But for me, the goal has never been visibility.
The goal is impact.
With #HopeWithBitcoin we try to:
• Help people in need • Support vulnerable communities • Teach the basics of Bitcoin during our outreach and education sessions
Through humanitarian actions and education, we show that #Bitcoin is more than a digital asset or a store of value.
Bitcoin can also be a tool for hope.
A tool that can help feed people, educate communities, and create opportunities where they are needed most.
And this is only the beginning.
I’m always happy to connect with Bitcoiners, partners, sponsors, and anyone who believes Bitcoin can create real impact in the world.
If this vision resonates with you, feel free to reach out.
And if you want to support the mission, follow and help us spread the word.
