🏗 The Rooftop Project : One Step at a Time
I’ve already talked to you about this project, but today I want to give you a little update and, most importantly, be honest with you.
On July 22nd, I started a project that means a lot to me: building an 8m × 4m room on the rooftop slab of my family home.
Why?
Because I want to have my own space.
A place where I can live, work, create, think, and continue building my projects.
Most importantly, I want to become more independent.
The full project is estimated at 2,414,500 FCFA (~$4,236).
Yes, that's a lot.
But I don't want to focus on the 2.4 million today.
I want to start with one first step.
🧱 The staircase.
The initial estimate for the staircase was 257,000 FCFA (~$451).
Since the launch, you have already contributed a total of 152,500 sats (~$100).
And those sats didn't just sit somewhere.
On July 25th, they allowed us to buy gravel.
Today, we already have on site:
• Sand
• Gravel
• Around 10 bags of cement
So yes...
The project has started. ❤
It's no longer just an idea I'm sharing with you.
There are already materials on the ground.
To complete the staircase, we mainly need to cover the steel/rebar, the ironworker's labor, the formwork, the mason's labor, and a few additional bags of cement.
Thanks to what we already have, we now estimate that we need around:
🎯 200,000 FCFA (~$351)
🎂 And my birthday is coming on September 2nd.
So I had an idea.
Why not turn my birthday into a little challenge?
200,000 FCFA before midnight on September 2nd.
Can we complete this first step together?
I don't want to call it a birthday gift.
If we reach the goal, I'll simply see it as a first step that we built together.
But there is something else I want to tell you.
I don't want to only ask the community to help me financially.
I'm also looking for work.
I'm looking for freelance missions, contracts, online work, collaborations, or any opportunity that can help me generate income and become financially independent.
I can work in several areas:
• Social Media Management
• Community Management
• Content Creation
• Graphic Design
• Video Editing
• Copywriting
• Web3 / Bitcoin Promotion
• Community Building
• And other online opportunities.
If you know someone looking for this kind of profile, please let me know.
A professional opportunity can have a much bigger impact than a one-time contribution.
And honestly...
I want to work.
I want to be independent.
I want to build.
👀 Want to follow the project?
I want everything to be transparent.
If you want to follow the whole project and see the progress in real time, I’ve centralized the information on the project's Agora page.
You’ll be able to follow the contributions, goals, different stages, and updates as we move forward.

I’ll also continue sharing updates here on Nostr.
⚡ How can you help?
You don't need to have a lot of Bitcoin to take part.
⚡ Zap this note — even a few sats count.
🔁 Repost — help me reach someone who could contribute or offer me an opportunity.
⚡You can contribute directly via Lightning or On-chain
Lightning: [email protected]
Bitcoin On-chain: bc1q4td29t6lv79hdw3fuyjpczt22pd2g23nj4nj0g
If you can't contribute financially, a simple repost can already make a difference.
Maybe the person who sees your repost will be the one who helps me take this first step.
🎯 Challenge: 200,000 FCFA (~$351)
🎂 Deadline: September 2nd at midnight
I'll continue showing you the process, step by step, without hiding anything.
July 22nd: an idea.
Today: materials on the ground.
Next step: the staircase.
And after that?
We keep building.
One step at a time. 🧱❤
