Conduit product updates since the last report… here’s what has merged since:
• We rebuilt the architecture behind Event Markets. The older model already worked, but the new one gives hosts, merchants, and shoppers a more consistent path from event creation and seller approval through shopping and pickup. We’re now improving the screens around it.
• Merchant Events now puts “My Events” above the full event timeline. Event creation has simpler banner uploads and familiar weekly, monthly, and custom repeat options.
• Shipping is taking a big step forward. Merchants can set reusable rates by destination and package weight, then add product-specific packing weight or handling charges. Shoppers see one shipping charge for a combined shipment from the same merchant.
• Merchants can now save an approximate “Ships from” area and use it on new listings. Listings publish location tags that can support more location-specific discovery in the future, while the setting avoids exposing a precise address.
• Other sites can now link directly into Conduit with a product or cart ready for review. Shoppers still see current product terms and complete the purchase themselves. External sites can use these links before becoming registered partners.
• Product search is quicker and less demanding on relays. Results can appear while details are checked in the background, typing triggers fewer requests, and Conduit backs off when a relay asks it to slow down.
• Public profiles and storefronts now share one address. A shopper can see who someone is and browse their products on the same page. Older links redirect to the new page.
• Mobile sign-in now offers a browser signer alongside Clave on iPhone or Amber on Android. The connection screen has fewer duplicate controls and clearer recovery options.
• Public profiles can show an optional Brainstorm score with a link to its source. It is a network signal shoppers can inspect, not merchant verification.

…and here's what is currently being built and reviewed:
• Event products should be easier to discover across the network. Approved products can remain visible inside an event even when the merchant is outside the shopper’s normal catalog or follow list.
• Event pickup and booth sales are being made more consistent. A merchant’s products at an event will share one clear handoff arrangement from publication through checkout, payment confirmation, and collection.
• Mobile event shopping is getting much faster and simpler. Cart, order review, guest details, notes, and checkout are being condensed into a cleaner flow with less repeated text and less scrolling.
• Checkout delivery is being sped up. Conduit will be able to continue after the merchant’s order is successfully accepted instead of making the shopper wait for every network destination to finish responding.
• After checkout, shoppers will land directly on the payment they need to complete instead of searching through their order history. Expired invoices will also have a clear way to request a fresh one.
• Work continues on a private, peer-to-peer Lightning payment router that can split payments directly among the people owed without Conduit taking custody. The current work is focused on reliable completion, safe recovery from interruptions, and preserving privacy throughout the process.
• Merchants will be able to declare how product revenue should be shared with suppliers. These terms will be attached to the product itself and displayed clearly before they are used by the payment router. (@rev.hodl 👀)
• Remote signer interruptions should become far less disruptive. Drafts, carts, settings, messages, and other account-owned work will remain available while the signer reconnects. Reconnecting will never automatically approve, publish, send, or pay for anything.
• The App Relay work mentioned in the last update is now being consolidated into a single complete release. The individual pieces are built, but the full feature is still under review before it lands in Conduit. It will provide reliable defaults while keeping personal relay choices separate and fully under the user’s control.
• Work continues toward an effective decentralized shipping policy model that gives merchants reusable shipping rules without depending on a central platform.

Conduit product updates since the last report:
• Remote signer connections are much more reliable. Conduit now detects broken connections immediately, reconnects after switching apps or going offline, and verifies that the correct account returned before allowing another signature. (
)
• Temporary signer problems no longer make an established account look signed out. The merchant or shopper workspace stays intact while Conduit restores the connection.
• One-tap Clave setup remains the main iPhone experience. QR codes, copied connection details, and manual recovery options remain available for cross-device use or when the automatic return is interrupted. HOWEVER signers can now move an existing connection to better relays without breaking the session. Conduit verifies the new route before retiring the old one and keeps the working route if anything goes wrong. (
• Relay setup now works out of the box. Conduit provides a default set of App Relays so new users are not blocked by an empty or incomplete personal setup.
• Personal relay choices remain independent. Users can manage their own relays without Conduit’s defaults being added to or replacing their published preferences.
• Network settings are clearer. App Relays start collapsed with a simple summary, while personal relay controls remain immediately accessible. Expanding the section shows each relay, its health, and what Conduit uses it for.
•Shared relays between app defaults and personal (if both enabled) are contacted only once, disabled sources stay disabled, and user exclusions take priority.
• The Market interface is cleaner on mobile. The header and footer hide while scrolling down and return as soon as the shopper scrolls up, leaving more space for products.
• The Market footer has been simplified to About, Terms, Privacy, and Report a Bug. Orders and Messages now appear only when a shopper is signed in.
Several underlying libraries and build tools were also updated, with no direct change to the product experience.

Conduit product updates from the past 48 hours:
• Events are easier to browse. Market and Merchant now share a clean timeline centered on “Now,” with past events above and upcoming events below. Event pages are simpler and clearer about organizers, sellers, and whether an event has ended.
• Event shopping loads faster. Opening a merchant’s event link or QR code prioritizes that merchant’s products. Shoppers can start building a cart without waiting for every seller at the event to load. Checkout remains safely blocked until everything is verified.
• Large event marketplaces now work reliably. Events with more than 64 participating products or sellers are loaded in manageable groups instead of being rejected as too large.
• Merchants can edit products with fewer roadblocks. Routine changes like updating stock no longer depend on rechecking the entire event setup. Existing pickup and shipping details are preserved unless the merchant intentionally changes them.
• Product images can now be uploaded directly through Conduit. Merchants can upload, preview, cancel, retry, remove, and arrange images from desktop or mobile. Successful uploads are preserved if another image fails.
• Search is more useful and focused. Shoppers now get category suggestions alongside merchant and account results. Results stay within the catalog they are currently browsing instead of suggesting unrelated accounts or products.
• The Merchant workspace is cleaner and more consistent. Desktop and mobile now share the same navigation structure, with improved spacing, fewer duplicate links, better small-screen behavior, and account tools grouped in one menu.
• Network messages are quieter and more useful. Routine background activity stays out of the way. Warnings appear when reliability affects what the user sees or can do, with a useful recovery action when available.
• Signed-out shopping is less cluttered. Guests no longer see a disabled catalog selector they cannot use, freeing up space, especially on mobile.

It’s time to get this Alpha release into the Nostrverse:
They say if you’re not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.
We’re definitely not embarrassed- but we know there’s A LOT of work to be done here. We’re aware of many bugs and are working on them.
That being said- ALL community feedback is appreciated. We’ve got our zaps at the ready for anyone who digs in with constructive feedback.
Thank you again to our collaborators in the space
… looking forward to continuing to making interoperable and unstoppable marketplaces with you all.
