My timeline here is a mix of my day to day life—one day I’m sharing my morning commute to the office, the next I'm celebrating my daughter turning 11 with family karaoke, and today I’m looking at protocol data. 🚗🎂🎤

To me, it’s all connected. And my recent posts about Geozapping and firing corporate ad agencies proved that a lot of you feel the same way. ⚡️

Amidst all the current debates about low user numbers on

and other nostr client apps in general, the truth is staring us in the face: People don't just want another tech-heavy Twitter clone. They want a space that enhances their real, daily life. 📉❌

To win over the mainstream crowd from corporate monopolies like Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook, we need to stop focusing purely on tech talk and start building interactive, real-world utility right into our social feeds.

What is one everyday, real-life feature that would make your non-Bitcoin friends finally join the network? 👇

There is a lot of criticism surrounding

on the trending feeds right now regarding the server-side blocking of

, and the concerns are real.

As someone trying to nudge friends, family, and my kids to leave Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for Nostr, I obviously don’t want them exposed to explicit or triggering content. Accounts like fuckstr push boundaries, posting highly provocative memes about religion and race that are clearly designed to mock and test the limits. Personally? I found his memes about Jesus talking to himself pretty funny. But he is at a minimum triggering, and it’s understandable why some people find it offensive.

But the answer to offensive content isn’t a return to centralized Web2 moderation or top-down client filters.

The core promise of Nostr is absolute free speech and user sovereignty. If a user doesn't like someone's provocative tone or edgy content, they can simply choose who to follow, use native mutes, or switch relays. We don't need a central party or proprietary caching servers dictating what we are allowed to see via server-side blocks. That is permission-based communication.

What we need from teams like Primal is world-class UI/UX and better localized, user-controlled filtering features so we can curate our own experience and protect our families ourselves. Give us the tools, but let the protocol breathe. ⚡️🆔

A public proposal for the teams at

and

to completely break the back of legacy social media competition. 🧠🚀

Both of your UI/UX is already top-tier, but if we, as Nostr community, want to give users absolutely zero reason to ever fall back on walled gardens like WhatsApp, Facebook, or LinkedIn, we need to bring full-spectrum communication to the protocol layer.

Imagine if Primal and /or Yakihonne integrated: 👥 Native Group Chats: High-signal, encrypted spaces for communities and businesses. 📞 Voice Calls: Instant peer-to-peer audio right from the DM interface. 📹 Video Calling: Secure, open-protocol video streaming without corporate spyware.

Because Nostr handles the identity layer natively, adding secure, WebRTC-based communication rails means that a comprehensive, sovereign communications hub can be build.

So why don't you build the ultimate killer app layer. What do you say, nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpzamhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurpwfjhgmeww3hhwmsprpmhxue69uhhqun9d45h2mfwwpexjmtpdshxuet5cfkclk and nostr:nprofile1qqszpxr0hql8whvk6xyv5hya7yxwd4snur4hu4mg5rctz2ehekkzrvcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vp39eukz6mfdphkumn99e3k7mgd22h8g teams? 😉⚡📡
