See you tomorrow!

Bytes, electricity, water and FREE beer!🍺 Free as in freedom, ofcourse...

We've learned so much in the last year or so about networks, micropayments and what TollGate fundamentally IS. Part of that journey has been that TollGate can be used for anything that streams, not just bytes. And it also led us to the creation of FIPS, which is an important part of our redesign.

We now have a way more modular approach that can fit different setups, centered around one TollGate protocol for streaming value for delivery of a resource.

Please join our Community call to hear more about it!

🇳🇱 We'll also be running a fleet of TollGates at @Bitcoin Amsterdam in a few weeks!

The nostalgia is real,

I think Nyves has a good shot of gathering the attention of Dutch people. National newspapers jumping on the recent relaunch I think demonstrate that it's still very much alive in people's minds.

Very similar effects as Divine, even if Nyves doesn't succeed I think the attention to the protocol will be good.

Zaza has the gift of being able to make you experience & FEEL software the way it ought to be. Pay attention to his work...

Over the weekend I made this demo game to test mesh napplets. It works surprisingly well and is quite fun!

If you're into making games and wanna use local mesh as part of the game, let me know what you're making!

Happy Sunday folks.

Myco is an app I built to show we can create entire functioning networks out of nothing. And use this mesh for any application, and even share the applications themselves over the mesh as well.

Things like ad-hoc disaster-response becomes possible.

Let me know what you think!

I believe too many nostr clients are applying old paradigms to new primitives. We don't have to do that.

This is very interesting and cool to read.

The DNS comparison might not be entirely fair, as [npub].fips isn't really coming from any user-defined records.

But regardless, awesome write-up!
