Happy Birthday

Is Google Drive down? Can't open up a Google Sheet! Rut Roh

Well that's annoying. My Logitech mouse's side-scroll wheel is goofing up! Bah!

are you going to #PodcastMovement2026 this year?

Well this isn’t good Oye

What is the best VPN out there right now that doesn't support Right-Wing politics? Mullvad in Norway is supporting the right-wing. So that's out.

😔 It's okay to not be okay.

I would love metrics for podcasting is based on plays vs. downloads.

Good grief!

Now I get why some people would call celebrating America's 250's birthday Nationalist. I don't, I see what's going on to celebrate it, in some circles, a bit worrisome and Nationalistic.

But why shouldn't a country celebrate 250 years? It just sucks that you-know-who is in power. That makes me sick.

Not the celebration.

Yep.

I got a tinge of handiness. I replaced the handle on the toilet in the guest bath. I feel accomplished.

I have a new Apple Watch SE. I have such battery anxiety with it. It holds a charge for 18 hours, but when I get to 40% I feel the need to charge it. Is that bad to do now-a-days with battery tech?

Do you ever have those moments (I know you do) when you're about to do something and you go to do it and you completely forget what the fuck you were about to do? Well, that happens to be all the fucking time and it's soooooo annoying!

The only royalty in my house is my queen... Olive!

no show this week?

I get why some people don't like AI. But I don't mind it as long as there's a human in the loop. It helps me iterate on an idea and get it out of my head. Then I go in and improve it as a HUMAN.

WTAF!

People are idiots. Saying that country shouldn't exist because of their government is a dumb thing to say. Should the Israeli government be held account for what it's doing? YES. But if you think Israel shouldn't exist, neither should German, South Africa, so on and so on.

Think before you post stupid shit folks.

As if I don't have enough projects going on here are the active ones:

1. FediDeck.app -- A Hootsuite-like interface/app for AP and AT Proto networks.
2. FediverseResources.com -- A collection of apps, blog posts, resources and other stuff on the Fediverse and ATmosphere.
3. Podcasting.Chat -- A federated-forum-community for the podcasters on the Fediverse.

Without an RSS feed it's not a Podcast. Plain and simple!

so many apps didn't get it live.

I listed to the raw feed.

Look what I built: https://podcasting.chat

Feel free to dive in. Not much there yet, but might be a great place to talk shop! And it FEDERATES!

Ghost the CMS/EMail Newsletter open source app is getting really good. Rivaling Substack if you ask me.

Hint hint!

My wife's Windows 11 machine randomly gets translucent dots on her screen and stalls. Any one have any idea WTF is going on? It's an older Samsung laptop. From 2019. Really don't want to have to get a new computer. But don't like what's going on.

Man, It's windy AF out today. The power went out for a minute. Glad it came back quickly bc it's COLD out!

I figured out how to get the space heater plugged directly into wall outlet. It's so nice to actually have more heat in the office. It also has a timer so when I leave it goes off. Very nice.

I wonder if I can put it on a smart plug? HMMMMM.

This is terrifying

I support the boycott of the World Cup in the US. I'm an American but our shit is not together in anyway shape or form.

How much do you want to bet that Congress will whine and scream about this whole #Venezuela #Attack but will do jack shit.
