Your culture defines you. Your nationality doesn't. Little booklets with a government stamp on it are meaningless. Values and traditions instilled from birth are what shape you.

Some cultures destroy their own stuff to express their anger. Some do so by destroying the stuff of their neighbours. Some destroy themselves, cos they've learnt to suppress not express their anger. We all know who.

It must be exhausting to never be satisfied. We sure do like to complicate our human experience.

What a wonderful time to be alive.

Deep and meaningful relationships keep on giving. Things don't.

My mind, body and should would benefit greatly if I could identify my needs and my wants; fulfil the first and think more carefully before indulging the second. Easier said than done.

Instead of starting the day with a to 'do' list, I'm going to start the day with a to 'be' list. I am, after all a human 'being'.
Once I have established how I want to 'be' that day, (calm, inspired, excited, lazy, productive, sociable ...) then can come the to 'do' list to make my to 'be' happen.

Women have been invading men's spaces for decades.
In the name of feminism. In the name of equality. Be careful what you wish for.
Brotherhoods are sacred too.

So grateful for my grandson's Russian babulya for all the hand-knitted made with love clothing. Dying skill.

Sister of a friend is a banker. At a small provincial German bank. She's consistently rolled her eyes at any talk of bitcoin energy solutions. Feeling blessed. I was able to dedicate a very large part of my life to bringing up our children, supporting hubby, and being the family home-maker. It was so, so, so, so worth it. Nothing beats watching your children become parents themselves. The pure joy of grandchildren takes the meaning of life to another level. Mother nature working her magic.

Building healthy, deep and meaningful relationships. Best use of my time and energy.

We need to go back to communal living. We live far too isolated for bringing up children happily and successfully. Its an impossible task for women being a stay at home mum nowadays, when grandparents usually live miles away, and the majority of other young mothers are back at work with their children being cared for in institutions. Motgerhood has become lonely and exhausting. Not how its meant to be.
