As long as I skip

Given, that is, that the adults surrounding him/her have mature regulated circuits.
I'd be willing to bet that the majority (self included) of adults don't.
My grandparents were war traumatized.
So were my hubby's. Which meant my parents were.
As were his.
Which meant I am.
As is he.
Which meant our children are.
As will theirs be, unless we break the chain.
Processing trauma was never on the to-do list of the previous generations. They were too busy surviving rather than thriving.
And the powers that be are busy instigating the next war. The next drama. The next generational trauma.
And so it will continue.
Until we break the chain.
Opt out.

Why are there so few female geniuses (genii?!) who have influenced/shaped the world?
And what personality traits does it take to be one?

Babies come in to the world with no preconceived ideas.
They watch, listen, taste, feel and smell to 'conceive' their surroundings.
Over time, they rely more and more on preconceived ideas to conceive what's going on, rather than relying on their senses.
This is how it becomes so easy to fool humans in to believing something which is blatantly false.
We stop using our senses.
And rely on preconceived ideas.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck....

P.S. You're not an expert in anything.

I'm currently on the hardest path so far.
To my self.

If we believe that we can be 'the mother' to children under the age of three and simultaneously have a full time job, we are wrong. Babies and toddlers have no concept of 'quality time', even if we women have been persuaded to believe otherwise.

The most far-reaching decision you will ever make is the partner you select to have your children with. Parenthood.
Till death do you part.
Choose wisely.

I would hate to work at something I don't take personal pride in.
However much I'm paid.
Because prideless work is soul destroying.
I have never had to do any work in my life which I was not proud of.
And that includes the many hours of babysitting, waitressing, hotel house-keeping and supermarket shelf-filling jobs of my youth.
Because I've never had to spend my time and energy on a bullshit job.
Eternally grateful for this.

I wonder what I'm still wrong about.

The hardest work I've ever done emotionally is on the inner child.
The most rewarding work I have ever done emotionally is on the inner child.

Its easier to learn new things than unlearn old ones.

Brotherhoods matter. It is where men learn to be in their masculine. Sisterhoods matter. It is where we learn to be in our feminine.
Together stronger.
Yin yang.

I am far more likely to read a post which reflects the author's willingness to be vulnerable than a post highlighting his/her technical prowess. I love people more than I love things.

One curious thing I've noticed on nostr.
The guys on here who post things that resonate deep in me all have 'Jesus' somewhere in their bio.
Interesting. I wonder..??!!
If I can't be radically honest in a relationship (and accept his/her radical honesty in return), it's not a relationship that's worthy of our time and energy.

"Emotional maturity is being able to have the difficult conversations."
This sentence sent my body in to spasm.
Which means nail on head.
Well in to my 50s and still so often emotionally in my 00s.
There's still so much work to do. You never stop learning.
Life is beautiful like that.

There would be no need for lawyers and judges if we would all just learn to express our resentment in the moment to the one we resent! Pent up resentment is the killer.

Marvellous couple of weeks with eldest daughter and grandson in one country. Now off to visit youngest son in another.
My offspring enrich my life. They always have.
The hard, hard physical work of the early years and the decade of disrupted sleep was so worth it. As was/is the emotional work when they are older. Motherhood is pure low time preference.
Time and energy.
That's what counts.
Life, with all its ups and downs, is simply magical.
What a journey.

I choose love, not fear.
I choose to keep technology my servant, not my master.
I choose to spend my time with people who radiate positive energy and fill my tank.
I choose to spend much of my time in - and learning from - mother nature, for she is humanity"s greatest teacher.
I choose to listen to my body and follow its cues.
I choose to nourish my soul
I choose to nourish my mind.
Life is beautiful.

Choose to see the good.
Your culture defines you. Your nationality doesn't. Little booklets with a government stamp on it are meaningless. Values and traditions instilled from birth are what shape you.
I would fight for my culture.
Not for my nation.

Some cultures destroy their own stuff to express their anger. Some do so by destroying the stuff of their neighbours. Some destroy themselves, cos they've learnt to suppress not express their anger. We all know who.
