Nostr Wallet Connect became the USB-C of bitcoin wallets and apps 🔌

We hardly can keep app of new apps joining the ecosystem! 👀

Let's see what new wallets support NWC and what new things you can dow ith your wallet since the last update 🧵👇

👛 Let's start with new wallets that gained the superpowers of connecting to apps!

First one is

, a well known lightning wallet that lately became one of the first mobile Spark wallets.

Give it a try, the team is now working to improve it even more 🛠️

A new, community-driven web wallet for buisnesses and individuals with strong focus on NWC and connecting to apps: meet Buho

Try open beta at https://t.co/Ngsrd9RGfN

The team behind Buho recently also released BuhoGO — mobile and web NWC wallet interface. Just connect as many wallets as you want and pay on the go 👣

https://home.mybuho.de/buhogo

The third wallet that had NWC feature for a while, but we somehow missed it

is one the leading ecash PWA wallets with some unique features like Pay To Pubkey (P2PK) that allow for offline payments. It's nuts! 🥜

📱 Now let's get to apps:

Zap Tracker is an execllent value4value web analytics dashboard that lets you manage multiple wallets and has built-in tools to engage with your supporters and community.

Very powerful tool for the internet economy 🌐

https://zap-tracker.vercel.app

is a simple Point of Sale app that supports NFC payments. Excellent tools for merchants 🛒

Kanbanstr is a simple kanban board that is... zappable. Let your users vote on new features with sats that go straight to your self-custodial NWC wallet 🤯

https://kanbanstr.com

Lightning Tic Tac Toe is... a bit more expanded version of tic tac toe, but with sats at stake. Something fun to play at bitcoin meetups?

https://lntictactoe.com

A screenserver that shows lightning bolts when you receive a zap? Meet NWC Screenserver. Has some cool features like audio notification or displaying QR code for payments (good for events or meetups).

https://rolznz.github.io/nwc-screensaver/

✨ Two AI tools additions!

1. AskExperts lets you create AI experts, discover them, and ask them questions privately and pay for the answers using lightning

KYC-free and with hundreds of AI models. Pretty cool huh? 🕵️‍♂️

2. Something for developers: turn your MCP into PaidMCP by nostr:nprofile1qytzqamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k7tcqypr90hlgjed73xq2jvrjhna4ukdx2yjyqmdslqvjzhh83wj8jd9numxx6g9 and charge bitcoin for each tool request, powered by NWC.

It takes just a few lines of code to implement 👩‍💻

https://blog.getalby.com/creating-paid-mcp-servers-with-paidmcp/

Add a simple tip tool to your website ⚡

Lightning Invoice Generator is a simple microservice where you can insert your NWC secret and get a unique endpoint for generating invoices on demand on your website

https://ln-invoice-generator.mozharov.me

Now a big one...

nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq36amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wvf5hgcm0d9hx2u3wwdhkx6tpdshsqgqlyngdnf7mkgsmqgr2sejssd60gjcq6uz2xn5trvlun29uzspcqcw0lxfv just made setting up self-custodial nostr:nprofile1qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsqgxlfqr0grurdzd0xfhwhd3y02qef6n9cyygmhsrk73qedaqk2m29gru43ce easy, all thanks to NWC.

No more worries your sats from the BoltCard are gone! Connect your node and be happy ☀️

https://boltnwc.lacrypta.ar

Support the project on nostr:nprofile1qyt8wue69uhkummnw3ezuer9d3hhgett9e6xktcpremhxue69uhkgetk9ehx7um5wfcxcctevaex7atwvshxxmmd9uqzpdkumh0cve6jslg6f6rzpkf24yzuykxc2zlcejfr6wwlrm07uhh878n2y8: https://geyser.fund/project/boltcardnwc

Now we have a draft of a new protocol that uses NWC.

Described by nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqy28wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hsqgzhd53ac0djq4kjpzzfgch7udvvl8c0xvg2933ukmpx0f9e7kzglyy7s393 as "a layer 3 protocol for zero UTXO trust-minimized lightning wallets"

Very interesting concept and we hope we'll see it live soon!
