What I did today wasn’t random.
It touched several known #inner practices, even though I didn’t intentionally set out to “do” any of them.
#Somatic #meditation
Listening to the #body directly instead of the mind. #Emotions land somewhere physical. Paying attention there lets the body speak first.
#Affect #labeling
Noticing and naming a feeling reduces its intensity. #Words help the nervous #system #regulate instead of spiral.
#Parts #work
Letting something inside be #felt without interrogating or fixing it. No forcing a story. Just #allowing it space.
#Ritualized #release
#Consciously letting something go using #symbol and #intention . The #brain responds to meaning, not just logic.
#Active #imagination
Allowing images, words, or sensations to #arise and #interact without controlling them. A dialogue with the inner world.
