The #1950s #fantasy only worked for a #minority — everyone else paid for it

The “traditional patriarchal golden age” was #never #universal

It worked for:

a #small mostly #white , mostly #male mostly #middle-class

#subsidized by #cheap labor, #unpaid labor, and outright #exploitation

Everyone else:

#women people of #color #immigrants the #poor #children #colonized #populations

…either #worked themselves to the bone or lived under someone else’s boot.

The system didn’t run on #masculine virtue.

It ran on #invisible #labor

🎭 Montgomery Clift (1920–1966)

The #King of #Fragile Truth

Domain: #vulnerability before it was allowed

Why he mattered:

Clift introduced #softness #ambiguity and #emotional #realism before #Hollywood had language for it.

He cracked open the #myth of the #invulnerable man — and paid dearly for it.

What we lost:

A #gentler #masculine lineage that Hollywood wasn’t ready to protect.

And I’d argue they still don’t.

⚖️ ACTUAL ANTI-TOTALITARIAN SPIRITUALITY as a direct rebuttal to this idiotic noise below 🔻🔻🔻

(What faith looks like when it doesn’t need control to survive) but since he claims to be a #Christian I will reply as one who understands the #bible in another way that these chauvinistic assholes never will .

⸻

1. God Does Not Need Enforcers

If God is real, infinite, and alive,

He ( well for one damn thing #AI puts he and since we have dim lights this makes sense)! Majority believe god is a he. Again #ReadYourBibles

How many versions say WE … right there in #Genesis … first page FFS 🙈

We do not require men with laws, fists, or shame campaigns to defend US.

The moment faith needs coercion, surveillance, or forced obedience, it has already confessed weakness.

Authoritarianism is always a lack-of-faith problem.

⸻

2. Power Is the Test — Not Piety

Real spirituality does not ask:

“Who obeys me?”

It asks:

“Who holds power, and who is harmed by it?”

Anti-totalitarian faith:

•	Distrusts unchecked authority
•	Questions leaders first, not last
•	Expects moral scrutiny upward, not downward

Any system that calls itself “God-ordained” while shielding powerful men from accountability is idol worship, not religion.

✨✨✨ The audacity ⸻

3. Feminism Is Not Anti-God — It Is Anti-Domination

Feminism says:

•	Women are moral agents, not vessels

•	Consent is sacred

•	Authority must be earned, not inherited

•	Birth is meaningful only when chosen

That does not threaten God.

It threatens men who confused headship with ownership. 🌟 don’t get me started on the malicious fucks who use it to further their causes of suffering of others for them to live. 99% die for nefarious 1% to fly 🤙

A God who collapses when women gain autonomy was never divine — he was a projection of fragile masculinity.

#toxic #masculine RAGES because women have been released from our cages … #cryharder ⸻

4. Family Without Consent Is Not Holy — It Is a Cage ( and we ain’t going back inside for anyone again. #Women #Lead … bluntly: #FAAFO

Anti-totalitarian spirituality rejects:

•	Forced marriages
•	Trapped spouses
•	“Stay for the children” abuse theology
•	Male entitlement disguised as leadership

It affirms: • Chosen partnership • Shared authority • Exit without punishment • Children raised in safety, not fear

❤️ Love that cannot survive freedom was never love. ❤️

⸻

5. Bodily Autonomy Is a Spiritual Boundary

Your body is not:

•	The state’s
•	The church’s
•	A husband’s
•	A movement’s
•	A demographic’s

Anti-totalitarian #faith treats the body as a #sacred jurisdiction.

No God worthy of reverence needs reproductive slavery to feel powerful. BOOM 💥 🔥☄️

⸻

6. Tradition Is Not Sacred by Default

Tradition is a hypothesis, not a commandment.

Anti-totalitarian spirituality:

•	Preserves what heals
•	Discards what harms
•	Refuses nostalgia as moral authority

“Old” does not mean “good.” “Biblical” does not mean “just.” “Normal” does not mean “right.”

History is full of traditions God would be ashamed of. ( LMK if you need more proof cause OBVIOUSLY 🙄 I know them)

⸻

7. The State Is Not the Only Tyrant

Here’s the truth authoritarians hate:

The most brutal tyrannies in history were private, not public:

•	In homes
•	In churches
•	In marriages
•	In communities

Anti-totalitarian spirituality opposes all domination, including:

•	Patriarchal control
•	Religious abuse
•	Economic coercion
•	Sexual hierarchy

If you only fear the state but excuse private tyranny, you don’t hate control — you just want to own it.

⸻

8. God Is Not Order — God Is Life

Life is: • Messy • Plural • Creative • Uncontainable • Resistant to cages

Authoritarian religion worships order because it fears life.

Anti-totalitarian spirituality understands:

Anything alive must be allowed to change. Always be mindful 🧘🏻‍♀️

⸻

9. A Simple Test (That Exposes the Lie)

Ask this of any “God-based” system:

•	Can women say no without punishment?

•	Can children grow without fear?

•	Can people leave without being demonized?

•	Can leaders be questioned without retaliation?

•	Can love exist without hierarchy?

If the answer is no — God is not present. Control is.

⸻

Final Line (No Mercy, No Apology)

God does not need a throne. God does not need wombs. God does not need silence. God does not need fear.

Men who fear equality do.

And that — not feminism, not autonomy, not pluralism — is the real religion of control.

#Christians I WILL never back down. My name is Michele FFS 🙈
