Americans have killed far more Americans than undocumented immigrants ever have.
Most violence is homegrown. Most victims are harmed by people who look like them, live near them, and hold the same passport.
The “illegal immigrant crime wave” is a political fairy tale told to avoid harder truths:
#guns #poverty #trauma #drugs and a #culture #addicted to #scapegoats
If you actually care about #American lives,
stop pointing at the border and start looking in the #mirror
Fear is easy. Math is inconvenient.

How officers used new #ICE #memo to forcefully enter a #Minneapolis home Federal officers used an #administrative #warrant , signed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement #ICE #official , instead of a #judicial #warrant authorized by a #judge
‼️🚨⏰ Coming soon to your #American household . Please don’t think being a #citizen will stop this From #wp By #Arelis R. #Hernández With long guns pointed in her direction, Teyana Gibson repeatedly demanded that federal immigration officers show her a warrant as she stood between them and her immigrant husband inside her Minneapolis house. “What are you doing?” she yelled, as the officers burst through the front door with a battering ram, according to a cellphone recording of the chaotic encounter on Jan. 11. Officers handcuffed Garrison Gibson — a Liberian national who for years had reported for regular check-ins with Immigration and Customs Enforcement — and took him away in a government vehicle. Then they handed Teyana Gibson, who is a U.S. citizen, a photocopy of a document that purported to give them the legal authority to enter and search her home without consent. But it was not a judicial warrant authorized by a federal judge — rather, the document was an administrative warrant signed by an ICE supervisor, according to court documents. For years, federal immigration officers have been expected to produce judicial warrants to forcibly enter homes without permission. But a Department of Homeland Security #memo that became #public this week #authorizes #officers to use #administrative #warrants to enter the residences of #immigrants who have final orders of deportation from federal immigration courts. A judicial warrant is signed by an independent and neutral judge who examines the evidence to determine if it is sufficient to grant the government the extraordinary power to force their way into someone’s home, whereas an administrative warrant is usually signed by a federal immigration officer and is easier to obtain. Immigration lawyers contend that the policy violates constitutional protections shielding people from unreasonable searches and seizures in their homes and could lead to dangerous interactions between officers and unsuspecting families. DHS officials have refused to answer questions about where and when immigration officers are using administrative warrants. But at least one case involving the Gibson family is documented in a court filing in Minneapolis. Federal officers did not identify themselves before attempting to enter their home, and the couple’s young daughter and another relative hid in a bedroom, according to accounts from the family and their attorney. Legal experts say the forced entry represents a breach of constitutional limits that have long restrained federal officers. “I stood up and grabbed my husband, telling the officers they could not do this,” Teyana Gibson wrote in testimony submitted in a court petition to win her husband’s release. A federal judge ordered Garrison Gibson’s release days after his attorney argued in court that ICE agents violated his constitutional rights. Immigration lawyers and advocates have for decades instructed immigrant families to refuse entry to officers who do not have a judicial warrant. Such constitutional protections have historically applied to everyone living in the country, regardless of immigration status, legal experts said. Pace University constitutional law professor Bennett Gershman said there are emergency exceptions to the Fourth Amendment, which provides constitutional safeguards against unreasonable searches and seizures.
But he said most immigration arrests do not satisfy those emergency requirements, which govern situations involving imminent danger or a suspect’s ability to escape arrest. “A home is a castle. It’s the most private place of any we know in law, and the Supreme Court has said it over and over again,” Gershman said. “You need a warrant, consent or an emergency, that’s it. There is nothing for administrative warrants here.” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia #McLaughlin defended the administration’s policy on administrative warrants, saying that every individual targeted by the policy has “full due process and a final order of removal.” Gibson, 38, was brought by his parents to the United States as a child; an immigration judge ruled in 2009 that he should be deported, according to his court petition. He was not deported, however, but was instead placed under federal supervision — an arrangement that is similar to probation in the criminal justice system — after the Biden administration determined he posed no danger to the public and was not a flight risk. Since 2021, Gibson had routinely checked in at his local ICE field office and wore an ankle monitor as required under the supervision agreement. His attorney, Marc Prokosch, said federal officials did not tell Gibson, who has a scheduled ICE appointment next week, whether he had violated the terms or if they had terminated the agreement. Prokosch said he also received no notice that Gibson’s removal was imminent, which Prokosch said was required by law. Gibon’s family was sleeping on the morning of Jan. 11 when the ICE officers arrived at their home, according to court records. Teyana Gibson refused to open the door and demanded to see a warrant, prompting the ICE agents to leave. When the officers returned, a group of demonstrators had gathered outside. “There’s nobody here but my babies,” Teyana Gibson is heard saying in the cellphone footage of the forced entry. She instructed her daughter and another relative to shut themselves inside a bedroom. ICE agents did not announce themselves before entering the home, Teyana Gibson wrote in an affidavit — something law enforcement experts say is extremely dangerous for both the officers and the occupants of the dwelling. Prokosch said federal officials misrepresented the legal authority to arrest Garrison Gibson by failing to clarify that the warrant they had was “merely administrative,” according to a court petition. Gibson was transported to a Texas detention center, where he spent the night, and flown back to Minnesota the next day. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey M. Bryan ordered his release on Jan. 15, ruling that ICE had violated Gibson’s civil rights and its own supervisory regulations. It was Gibson’s daughter’s 10th birthday. The #implications of Gibson’s case go far beyond the #immigration context and could spill over into #searches and #arrests of #US U.S. citizens, said Don Bell, policy counsel for the nonpartisan #Constitution #Project .
He urged #Congress to set clear #guidelines governing arrest warrants so the country can avoid the consequences of what he called the Trump administration’s “excesses.” “The idea that the executive branch can unilaterally decide that they don’t need a warrant signed by a judge should be alarming to everyone, no matter their politics,” he said.

With the Pentagon making strides to include women in combat arms roles, you might actually be surprised to hear that the Army’s top counterterrorism force has included female operatives for nearly 30 years.
That’s right, the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment “D,” also known as “Delta Force,” has a history of hiring #female #soldiers to #serve alongside male operators, having begun the practice in the #1990s
More commonly referred to as “the Unit,” Delta Force is home to some of the most elite soldiers in the world, famously called “operators.” The selection phase for prospective operators is nothing short of grueling.
Former Delta operator Eric Haney details in his book, “Inside Delta Force,” this process which sees candidates hike and orient over adverse terrain, perform rigorous physical testing and training, and psychological evaluations.
Upon completion, a candidate isn’t out of the woods yet, and can still be dropped or withdrawn from the course if the instructor cadre feels he’s unfit to serve with the unit.
An intensive Operators Training Course ( #OTC ) follows, which trains each soldier in a variety of skills which they’ll eventually use in real world situations.
#Millions (you read that correctly) of rounds of ammunition are expended on a monthly basis, honing each candidate’s proficiency with a variety of firearms. Vehicle instruction, VIP protection, surveillance, and even tradecraft (i.e. the art of spying) are all part of the OTC curriculum.
Operators are trained to blend into any environment and urban setting, though sometimes, that’s very difficult to do with a gaggle of military-aged males hanging around in groups.
In 1982, the Unit attempted to solve this problem by recruiting female operators. After putting a small group of candidates through a modified, yet still highly arduous, selection course, four women were able to graduate and meet the standard set before them.
However, this solution turned out to be a bust, due to friction between male operators and the new female selectees to the unit.
Eight years later, Delta made another attempt to bring women into the fold, after #SEAL #Team6 the Navy’s counterpart to the Unit, had demonstrated some success in pairing a female petty officer with a frogman, posing as a romantic couple, while #reconnoitering objectives in #Panama prior to Operation Just Cause in #1989
In #1990 , #Delta began targeted recruitment initiatives that brought women into what was then referred to as the Operational Support Troop.
Female candidates were once again put through a difficult unique selection and training course in order to bring them up to speed on #firearms usage, #espionage skills and #tradecraft , advanced .#driving techniques and more, so that they could serve on #surveillance and #reconnaissance missions overseas along with male operators.
Among the first female operators to be recruited to the Unit’s OST was, in fact, the same Navy petty officer who served briefly with SEAL Team 6 in Panama, according to Sean Naylor in his book “Relentless Strike.” Later on, the OST was re-branded as “G Squadron” — a name which it apparently still has today.
In the mid-to-late #1990s , #Delta #Force was active in the #Balkans along with SEAL Team 6. It’s since been understood that female members of #G #Squadron were #critical in helping make Delta missions a success in the region, with male and female operators #posing together as lovers or married couples while conducting surveillance.
Today, the recruitment, selection and training process for G Squadron members is wholly unknown and completely #classified , as is the modern iteration of OTC for Delta’s assault-troop #operators . The requirements for OTC still stipulate that candidates sent over for selection be male, so it could be assumed that female operators continue to be brought in and #trained through a #modified program of their own.
However, what we do know is that #women do indeed operate with the most #elite #special #operations force in the world, undercover and sometimes even in plain sight.

⭐ Mammoth Cave — Star Chamber
(Historic Imagery Focus)
Here’s what you’re seeing across 19th–early 20th century engravings, lithographs, and postcards from Mammoth Cave National Park:
📜 How it was depicted
• Lantern-lit ceilings rendered as dense constellations 🌌
• Exaggerated contrast (bright whites on deep blacks) to sell the “night sky underground” effect
• Visitors shown small and reverent, emphasizing scale and wonder
• Crystals drawn sharper and more numerous than reality (artistic amplification)
🖨️ Why postcards loved it
• The Star Chamber was a signature spectacle on early tours
• It photographed poorly with early tech → illustration solved the problem
• Fit perfectly with the era’s appetite for:
• #Sublime #nature
• #American #marvels
• #Almost-spiritual #landscapes
🧪 What’s real vs. romanticized
• Real: gypsum crystals do sparkle when angled light hits them
• Romanticized: the ceiling was never a literal galaxy—artists leaned into metaphor
• Result: an enduring visual myth that shaped how people imagined caves
But it truly is beautiful 😍 in all my visual trips
🇱🇷 🇺🇸🗽 ⚖️
#American ideals vs. #American #reality
• #🇱🇷 (often used as #America even though it’s #Liberia’s flag) → the myth / the brand 🇺🇸
• #🗽 #Liberty → the promise
• #⚖️ #Justice → the mechanism that’s supposed to balance power
You’ve been interrogating this triangle for a long time.
LMFAO. 😹 I’ve probably most definitely 💯 fired more weapons than most of these people.
Hell I shot a sawed off shotgun as a child that threw me on the ground.
Still no desire to ever fire another one again. Why? #EndAllWars #End #MilitaryIndustrialComplex
You don’t have to listen to me. Listen to ** any ** of these former presidents below 🔻🔻🔻
Here’s a comprehensive collection of Presidential Warnings about #Militarism #War #Profiteering and the #Military-Industrial Complex — with hashtags for easy reference. From the #Founders through the 20th century.
⸻
⚔️ #GeorgeWashington (Farewell Address, 1796)
“Overgrown #military establishments… under any form of #government , are inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty.”
⸻
⚔️ #JamesMadison (Political Writings, early 1800s)
“Of all the enemies to public #liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other… No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”
⸻
⚔️ #ThomasJefferson (Letters, 1810s)
“A standing #army is one of the greatest mischiefs that can possibly happen. It is an engine of oppression.”
⸻
⚔️ #JohnQuincyAdams (Independence Day Address, 1821)
“America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and #independence of all. She is the #champion and vindicator only of her own.”
⸻
⚔️ #AbrahamLincoln (Letters & Speeches, 1850s–1860s)
“The money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people… until wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic is destroyed.”
(Lincoln warned that corporate and financial power tied to war could destroy the Republic.)
⸻
⚔️ #UlyssesGrant (Memoirs & Letters, 1870s)
“Although a soldier by profession, I have never felt any sort of fondness for war, and I have never advocated it, except as a means of peace.”
☮️ FELT !!!!
⸻
⚔️ #TheodoreRoosevelt (Speeches, 1900s)
“The most powerful of all war-makers is the combination of reckless corporations with reckless militarists.”
⸻
⚔️ #WoodrowWilson (Message to Congress, 1917 & later writings)
“The world must be made safe for democracy.”
(Though he led America into #WWI, Wilson later admitted that U.S. entry was influenced by #financial/industrial interests, and he grew disillusioned with militarism.)
⸻
⚔️ #FranklinDRoosevelt (FDR — Address to Congress, 1936)
“We must keep our eyes on the fact that there are those among us who would clip the wings of the #American #eagle in order to feather their own nests. They are the ‘merchants of death’ who profit by war.”
⸻
⚔️ #HarryTruman (Post–WWII Remarks, 1940s–1950s)
“All through history it has been the nations that have kept their defense up that have survived. But it has also been true that armament makers and military men have sometimes urged the building up of defense for the sake of profits or glory.”
⸻
⚔️ #DwightEisenhower (Farewell Address, 1961)
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
⸻
⚔️ #JohnFKennedy (UN Speech, 1961)
“Mankind must put an end to war — or war will put an end to mankind. The arms race can end only in annihilation.”
⸻
⚔️ #JimmyCarter (Nobel Lecture, 2002; also 1970s speeches)
“War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good… We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children.”
⸻
🌌 Summary
From Washington’s Farewell Address (1796) to Carter’s Nobel lecture (2002), U.S. presidents consistently warned that: • Large standing armies and perpetual war threaten liberty.
• Corporate profiteering and war industries endanger democracy.
• The military-industrial complex can seize control over national priorities.

Recounting #heroin #addiction and spiritual awakening, RFK Jr. urges focus on prevention and community By — Travis Loller, Associated Press Health Apr 24, 2025 6:15 PM EDT NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) —
U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told a personal story of his own heroin #addiction #spiritual #awakening and #recovery at a conference on drug addiction Thursday and emphasized that young people need a sense of purpose in their lives to prevent them from turning to drugs.
📑 humans almost always need a sense of purpose so we agree. 👍
Kennedy called addiction "a source of misery, but also a symptom of misery." In a speech that mentioned God more than 20 times, he pointed to his own experience feeling as though he had been born with a hole inside of himself that he needed to fill.
📝 right cause humans can’t be moral without a #god to bow down to. Nah.
"Every addict feels that way in one way or another — that they have to fix what's wrong with them, and the only thing that works are drugs. And so threats that you might die, that you're going to ruin your life are completely meaningless," he said.
📝 broken people become addicts because they feel something is internally wrong. Sad cycle to see repeated.
Speaking to about 3,000 people at the Rx and Illicit Drug Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, Kennedy did not address recent budget and personnel cuts or agency reorganizations that many experts believe could jeopardize public health, including recent progress on overdose deaths.
📝: not shocked
Kennedy drew cheers when he said that we need to do "practical things" to help people with addictions, like providing them with #Suboxone and #methadone He also said there should be rehabilitation facilities available for anyone who is ready to seek help. But he focused on the idea of prevention, signaling his view of addiction as a problem fueled by deteriorating family, community and spiritual life.
📝🚨🚨🚨‼️ #PurduePharma can pay for All those IF someone had the balls to make it happen. Alas ..
"We have this whole generation of kids who've lost hope in their future," he said. "They've lost their ties to the community."
‼️‼️‼️ NAH but it’s narrative warfare to continually place #USA in fear so you do you.
Kennedy said policy changes could help reestablish both of those things. Though Kennedy offered few concrete ideas, he recommended educating parents on the value of having meals without cellphones and providing opportunities for service for their children.
🤣🤣🤣: duh
The best way to overcome depression and hopelessness, he said, is to wake up each morning and pray "please make me useful to another human being today. "
😂😂😂: or volunteer or make the world a better place. Tots and pears
He suggested that cellphones are a pernicious influence on young people and that banning them in schools could help decrease drug addiction.
🚨🚨🚨 / how old is Kennedy how did he become a heroin addict if he grew up without a cell phone just asking questions here.
He cited a recent visit to a Virginia school that had banned cellphones, saying that grades were up, violence was down and kids were talking to one another in the cafeteria.
🚨🚨🚨 COOL 😎 He picks one school.
Kennedy told attendees that he was addicted to heroin for 14 years, beginning when he was a teenager. During those years, he was constantly making promises to quit, both to himself and to his family.
👁️👁️: wut a sad life to live addicted to anything horrific. Peace ☮️
"I didn't want to be someone who woke up every morning thinking about drugs," he said, noting that one of the worst parts of addiction was his total "incapacity to keep contracts with myself."
Kennedy said he eventually stumbled upon a book by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung that claimed people who believed in God got better faster and had more enduring recoveries, so he worked to rekindle his faith and started attending #12-step meetings.
🚨🚨🚨 ima fan of #Jung too. People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. Carl Jung
Kennedy was interrupted several times by hecklers shouting things like, "Believe science!" He has been heavily criticized by #scientists and public health experts for pushing fringe theories about diet, vaccines, measles and autism, among other things.
🚨🚨🚨 I have never heckled anyone at any speech 🎤 because I believe in #freespeech
One heckler was escorted out of the ballroom with a raised middle finger. Without responding directly to the hecklers, Kennedy said that he tries to learn from every interaction, even with people who give him the finger because they don't like his driving.
‼️ we’re those hecklers staged plants?
"God talks to me most through those people," he told the group.
University of Washington researcher Caleb Banta-Green was among those escorted out after he stood up and shouted, "Believe science! Respect spirituality! Respect choice! Respect government workers!"
"Spirituality is an essential part of recovery for some people; 12 step works great for the people it works for, however, it should never be mandated," Banta-Green said in an email after the program.
🚨🚨🚨: addicts don’t recover when forced. Again #science shows that.
He added, "We have decades of science-based interventions that are proven effective for supporting recovery and reducing death from substance use disorder. The problem we have is massive underfunding."
AP Medical Writer Carla K. Johnson in Washington state contributed.
