Hey #nostr let’s zap it up for

. Here he is training the staff of #MaliBeachClub in Port Vila, #Vanuatu, the first restaurant in Vanuatu 🇻🇺 to accept #Bitcoin. He got into Bitcoin less than 2 months ago, and now he’s passing on the knowledge to his fellow Ni-Vans.

One of the newly trained staff members told us that he’s 58 and he’s worked his whole life and has nothing to show for it because he just spends money to get by. But he said we changed his life, because now he’s able to earn Bitcoin and save. He said he’s going to be responsible and save, and when Bitcoin hits it big he can rest in his old age. You should have seen the looks on their faces. They were thrilled about the chance to increase their standard of living.

is making a difference thanks to the generous donations of partners. “Presem Masta!”

Hey #Nostr please welcome my friend and colleague,

. He’s new to #Bitcoin as well. So any sats you wanna send to help a new Bitcoiner would be most appreciated

Got to record Bible stories in languages that don't have written Scriptures yet. As part of an Oral Bible Storying workshop, people from various languages came together to memorize key stories of the Bible in a storytelling format. This makes God's Word accessible for languages without a written Bible. In this photo, speakers of Namakura, a language from islands northeast of Efate Island, recited portions of Abraham's story. I recorded their stories so they could have a digital copy of their work. Now, speakers of these languages will be able to hear and know of God's gracious kindness to Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Ishmael, and us. #vanuatu #efate #language #translation #bibletranslation #biblestorying #bible #flourishing

Rejoice! Finally got access to the #DolphinCard today. Went to buy a smoothie and some food at a local cafe and it worked! A new day has dawned. It doesn’t work with Apple Pay yet, so I wasn’t able to tap. But as long as you can enter the card info manually, you’re good to go. I can hardly wait to show the local people of #vanuatu this! Truly great work @AQUA Wallet and @JAN3 and @Excellion. Thank you!

Hey #asknostr what do we think of this 90-second tutorial on how to convert #Bitcoin to cash in Vanuatu? In this country, there are practically no off-ramps for locals using Bitcoin. And no businesses take Bitcoin yet. People need to see how Bitcoin can tangibly benefit them. If we like it, we’ll make it part of the

campaign. Any feedback? #vanuatu #circulareconomy #adoption #orangepilling
