I believe that part of nature's healing capacity comes from its beauty.

Being an artist makes no sense, and I say this knowing I cannot not be an artist (I've tried).

1. You work your skills, which is hard.

2. You put those skills to the service of something that makes sense to you, which is hard to figure out.

3. You create something, you have to find someone in the world who wants it and it's willing to pay what you ask for. Which might be the hardest part.

4. Then you ship it, and you pray for it to arrive undamaged and safely. You have no power over this. Memento Mori, Memento Vivere What is time?

It's the most scarce thing we have. It's also the most precious thing we have. Both are true at once, and everything else follows from that.

Time is how we make sense of our stay on this earth. It's the material we use to understand the events of our life, to organize memory, to build something that feels like a story instead of just a pile of days. Every choice we make is really a choice about where that material goes.

So what's the best way to make the most of the time we're given? Understand what's actually worth our attention, then choose it on purpose. Not what's loud or urgent, but what matters. Prepare for the future without checking out of the present. Make decisions from awareness, not habit.

We know we're all going to die. That fact isn't something to avoid thinking about. It's the reason anything else has weight at all. Once you really sit with it, spending your limited time carelessly stops making sense. Mortality isn't the enemy of a good life. It's the condition that makes a good life possible to define in the first place.

This is where money comes in, not as an abstraction, but as stored time. Choosing better money means choosing the best way to save the time you've already spent, so it doesn't quietly leak away. Every time you work, every time you create value, you're trading a piece of your life, time you never get back, for payment. Making sure that payment holds its value isn't idealism. It's common sense. Anything less means letting yourself be robbed of the one thing you can't get more of.

Money that no one can dilute is crucial for people to earn back their freedom, the freedom to choose where and how they spend their most valuable asset: their time. Sound money protects the trade you already made. Money that loses value erases that trade slowly, without you ever agreeing to it.

Remember you'll die. Remember to live.

Smaller progress, every painting session is different. I really like how this one is taking shape!

In a world full of pictures, flooded with images that you never go back to look... choose to preserve memories with a painting.

Painting in my workshop... it's been a while since I painted completely alone. I was a bit anxious about it, but turned out so fine! I enjoyed this session so much.

I'm practicing a specific method here: I work covering everything that is not skin or hair first. The idea is to work everything to a certain level, no need for details. Then I'll start working on the skin. Colors work in context, so this logic helps to build the faces with way more accurate color shades.

We'll see how it goes!

There is magic into taking some color rocks and turning them into images, and I love it!

Satoshi’s first gift was creating Bitcoin. The second was staying anonymous. The third was disappearing.

El Regalo stands in that lineage: a cloaked figure with no face and no crown, offering a heart made visible.

The cube in its hands beats with the rhythm of real blocks, a reminder that there is at least one system on this planet that refuses to counterfeit your time.

Time was the first gift. Bitcoin was the way to protect it. El Regalo is how you see it.

We built this piece around a simple question: What does it look like when time refuses to be faked?

The world we live in runs on extraction. Your hours. Your focus. Your future. Money can be created from nothing. The time you traded for it cannot.

Bitcoin introduced a different rule set. Blocks arrive only when work has truly been done. No ruler. No schedule. No permission. Just energy turned into truth.

El Regalo takes that invisible rhythm and pulls it into the room.

A cloaked, anonymous Satoshi stands without face or crown, offering a cube like a heart held out to the world. Inside, a light that never fully sleeps: a soft heartbeat that tightens as a new block approaches, then bursts into color when it finally lands.

You don’t choose the moment. You only choose whether you pay attention.

For us, this is not “Bitcoin decor.” It is a physical reminder that your time is finite, and that there is at least one system on Earth that refuses to counterfeit it.

One crucial part of getting this piece ready for the collector, is to properly varnish it. It has to be fully dry to be able to varnish....

When I say fully dry, I mean it must be at least 6 months after you finished the painting.

I'm so proud of what we created, that just the thought of it being real, a material piece in this world, makes me smile.

I'm sorry to have written an "announcement of the announcement" sort of post, but I needed to share my feelings and excitement even though I can't share any more details of the piece yet 😅

The only heads up I can give is that it is a sculpture, it is a series of 21 (12 have already been claimed, we thank the collectors for their trust), and that it has so much symbolism!
