On Saturday I massively sucked at the match. It was just not my day so i asked the range officer if i could come again (on the second day of the same match) and shoot again for experience, off record. Instead he put me in a different division so my second run could be officially scored anyway. Limited optics is a division for faster race guns and it’s hard to compete against those with my simple Glock. Anyway I gave it a try a pushed myself really hard this time. I finished 9th out of 35 people, with 74% and 78% at the classifier stages (B and A class). 9th overall against people with faster guns is pretty cool 😎 Probably it’s my biggest achievement in shooting so far, I’m proud 😌 #gunstr

This stage is going to be a classifier at tomorrow’s match. I shot it at 65% today during training, let’s see how I’m gonna do tomorrow. Btw today I had my first accidental discharge, i never thought it could happen to me. Now I’m more cautious about trigger work #gunstr

Work in progress #gunstr

Putting a lot of effort into becoming an A class shooter. I don’t know why I got so obsessed with this classification but I just want to get there and stop thinking about it. At the same time a class doesn’t mean much if you suck at shooting regular stages. I’m afraid this is where I am right now. I want to consistently deliver good performance, not only when passing the tests. Anyway, A class performance in the video attached, enjoy #gunstr

Not this time, friends. Not this time 😔 #gunstr

Last match results: I am 24 out of 55 in carry optics division and 41 out of 97 overall 😎 I did way better than a bunch of military and police dudes.

3 Mikes (missed the target) and 1NS (hit a no shoot target). My hits are very decent which means I must significantly push the speed #gunstr

Big milestone achieved at the competition yesterday: I hit B level on both qualifying stages 😎. Usually we have 5 stages at a match, and two of them go to the official scoreboard of USPSA – those are classifiers. I am already a B level shooter during my training, but I never qualified officially as a B because I get very nervous and fail every time at matches. Yesterday I finally got my shit together and delivered the best performance I could 😌 Now to become an official B I have to do it a couple more times because USPSA calculates an average level out of all competitions you participated in. #gunstr #uspsa
