I'm keeping my promise of it compiles to anything and runs on anything for wn linux. Still very WIP, as you can see from the messages, but anything means anything, including a playstation 4.

People are so obsessed with kind 1 clients, while I find those to be the least interesting. Look at all the amazing stuff people are building.
Nostr is a terrible twitter replacement, it fails at pretty much everything. But it's an AMAZING tool for building permissionless applications, with a shared database anyone can read and write to.
Most ideas you have can be built on nostr, and becomes immediately decentralized and accessible with only a websocket connection and a private key. That's what's good about nostr, nostr is not twitter 2.0.
Nostr is the internet we were promised 20 years ago

I like LLMs but sometimes I don't understand their logic at all
unknown_fields :: proc(j: J, allowed: []string) -> bool {if jkind(j) != .Object {return true}; for f in jfields(j) {if !scontains(
allowed,
f.key,
) {return true}}
return false}
contains_ref :: proc(j: J, key, value: string) -> bool {for f in jfields(j) {if f.key == key &&
jtext(f.value) == value {return true}
if contains_ref(f.value, key, value) {return true}}
for v in jelems(j) {if contains_ref(v, key, value) {return true}}
return false}
like what in the world compelled it to write it in such an ugly way... like this is for sure learned behavior from its training data... but I'm shocked at how bad it is. I can barely read that

200 years ago we didn't have light bulbs, we didn't have the internal combustion engine, and flight was not only not possible but also something nobody thought would be possible, bloodletting and leeches were considered peak medical practice and information traveled no faster than a horse...
I don't think we're going to see this level of a jump in 20 years, let alone 2.
I don't believe in the 100x AI productivity claims, nor 10x
MAYBE the best I could grant is 2x
I'd love to be proven wrong, let's advance society by 1000 years in the next 10, since apparently AI makes us 100x more productive. I want to take my eventual children on vacation to mars, and see them off every morning as they go to school on the moon.

I love LLMs for handling tedious tasks I really don’t want to deal with myself.
I have a TV that I use purely as a dumb HDMI display. I don’t need the "smart"-TV garbage, or any of the other junk. Every extra millisecond it takes to get to an HDMI input is wasted.
So I enabled ADB, pointed Kimi K3 at it, and told it to strip out everything unnecessary. It started by reporting that all the bloat packages were already disabled.... Which of course they are, I did that years ago... but I told it to keep working on it.
First, it built a minimal launcher that automatically switches to HDMI 3 on boot. That alone was exactly what I wanted: turn the TV on, and it goes straight to the input.
There was still the delay from the TCL logo and the Google TV startup sequence, though, so I asked it to optimize further. It replaced a few components I didn’t need but that the TV apparently expects, then AOT-compiled the APKs to speed up boot even more (btw, I didn't know this is possible, but it's apparently adb shell cmd package compile -m speed -f <package> for each package then adb shell cmd package bg-dexopt-job).
it cut cold-boot time to HDMI from roughly a minute to about 15 seconds, and standby resume from around 15 seconds to 2 seconds!!! I could have done all of this myself, of course, but it's a hassle and one of those things I always wanted to avoid because whatever... but having a clanker I can ask is great
I could also get it even faster... but i'd need to root my tv, and it's a pain in the ass on this tv (and the clanker can't handle it itself because it requires me to take apart the board)... so I told it not to

I legit think Odin is the best programming language... at this point with a few exceptions where memory safety is needed and thus rust provides absolute value (e.g. marmot or anything cryptographic), I don't see why I would use any programming language other than Odin... and that includes the web, where a little bit of javascript is still needed as a necessity but the majority of the logic can be in wasm written in Odin

heads up to whoever runs nostr.watch: your javascript is compromised by an attacker. I don't have the sourcemap so it's hard to say exactly what node module is the compromised one, but your website sends data, and redirects users to: xyz[dot]ngrok[dot]pro. this is a phishing

now I kinda wanna make PRs on various nostr clients (primarily ditto and amethyst) to display memory card events lol

So... I did a thing... This was a stupid idea that came to my mind randomly... and because nostr is awesome it took like 25 minutes to actually build... most of which were about figuring out how the ps1's memory card works... but yeah... playstation 1 memory cards over nostr... and now I kinda wanna build a UI to browse them
here's my save file for spyro (literally just restarted the game to test this out)
