Massive thank you to

for the trust in hosting this workshop. We had alot of fun!

Just recently

spoke about how every company can now be a mini-AGI.

The data that goes IN will be essential to the output of the AGI. The "Human Signal Layer" how it's built and structured will be a large part of that. Shared some thoughts about this with the Sprout team here: https://github.com/block/sprout/issues/242

Every company is rushing to build intelligence into their products. AI layers, world models, agents running in the background. And most of them will get it wrong.

Not because the tech isn't good. Because the input isn't. The intelligence is only ever as good as the signal feeding it.

https://npub1urhnkns9rt4c9mk6t9xctjkzmlkawxkdpzjnxdxhx82mqm7hfpuq0j7ueh.blossom.band/c9c6123145ce96f9ae797db3581ee13d6bd62ca2766a49788d9d4e009f94ab38.jpg And right now, almost nobody is thinking seriously about where that signal comes from, how it's collected, how it's structured, and whether it actually reflects real human experience.

That's the gap. And that's what I'm calling the Human Signal Layer. It sits underneath everything else. Before the intelligence layer. Before the world model. If those two layers are the brain, the Human Signal Layer is what the brain eats. Feed it junk, you get junk answers. Feed it real, structured, high quality human signal and suddenly your product decisions are being generated by your users, not your assumptions.

In a world where every product team has access to the same AI tools, the companies that win will be the ones who figured out how to listen better.

That's the layer almost nobody is building yet. And it's the most important one.

Hi everyone, I'm putting together a framework and I want to do it collaboratively with the community and ask for your input. The idea is to zoom out and map the core use cases - the real human needs behind why people use bitcoin or would use bitcoin.

Bitcoin use case framework - Draft:

1. Simple daily money I am a non-native English speaker, I am not familiar with this technology, I hesitate to trust it, I want the simplest way to use this digital money. (super super super simple, my 12 year old can use it)

2. Serious security & privacy I have used bitcoin wallets for a few years now, I am looking for the highest level of security and privacy

3. Financial survival I want to use bitcoin because I have no bank account or my bank account has been frozen.

4. Generational wealth I want to save for the future of my family.

5. Shared treasury We as multiple people want to control the wallet. (like funding organizations, families, or community treasuries)

I'd love your input:

• Do these use cases reflect what you see?
• What are we missing?
• How would you frame this differently?

Here are the next steps in mind after we have reached consensus with this step:

1. What does the most basic user journey look like under each user story?
2. What technology is needed under each user story?
3. Map out the already existing products in the ecosystem, ask the question under which of these categories do they fit?
4. What is missing in them and if added would greatly improve the use case for that particular story?

Just downloaded Bitchat. The installation process was pretty smooth. Intuitively double clicked the title and saw this 👌👌👌 Triple https://image.nostr.build/25f2eda72eb1d41dc2491479ff929ddee72727f3584167864b4e3734f6095a82.jpg click title to automatically remove all messages 👌👌 This would be super super useful especially for Human Rights Defenders.

Nostr developers! 🌟

We're diving deep into something new ➡️ Understanding how activists communicate and how Nostr can help them.

Why? Because building better tools starts with really getting how people use them.

Here's the scoop: We've been researching communication patterns in activists and have uncovered five distinct areas. But we know there's more to this story, and that's exactly why we need your help.

We're hosting an online workshop to:

1. Explore these communication patterns in detail
2. Identify what we might be missing 📅 Date: February 25th ⏰ Time: 11:00am ET (17:00 CET)

Whether you're a seasoned Nostr developer or just getting started, your perspective would be incredibly valuable.

Want in? Just drop me a message and I'll shoot over a meeting invite. 🚀
