Finally got this one over the line. 😅

After six months of structured learning through

Academy, I finished the Bitcoin Business Track with a score of 96%, ranked 10th out of 286 participants, scored 100% on my final assignment and attended the Summer School in Lugano.

But I didn’t want to write another simple “here’s what I did” recap.

The bigger question is:

What should serious Bitcoin education actually look like and what could universities, employers and independent educators learn from Plan ₿?

The article covers the free learning route, Business and Developer Tracks, proof-of-work assignments, Summer School, the hackathon, Bitcoin Educators Academy and the areas where the model can still improve.

It took slightly longer than planned, but I wanted to document it properly.

The Myth... 📜 Last week I said on LinkedIn that the UK Bitcoin scene isn’t missing.

It’s under-mapped. 🗺

Let’s push that a bit further…

Because this feels less like a visibility problem…

…and more like a perception problem. 🤔

People aren’t just struggling to find Bitcoin in the UK.

They’ve already decided it isn’t there.

Which is strange, because the evidence keeps stacking up. 👇

Bitcoin Events UK lists 50+ meetup groups across the UK & Ireland. And that’s just the visible layer.

Underneath? Telegram chats, Bitcoin walks, pub meetups 🍻, hubs, workshops, local circles…

Real people. Real communities.

So when someone says:

“There’s nowhere to learn Bitcoin in the UK."

What they often mean is:

“I haven’t seen it yet.”

And that’s fair.

Because Bitcoin here doesn’t look polished.

It looks messy, decentralised, a bit hidden… but very real.

So maybe the better question is:

If it exists… why isn’t it easier to see? 👀

The opportunity isn’t to build a scene.

It’s to connect it.

Last year showed there’s something real in bringing Bitcoin, graffiti, music and local community into the same space.

Not as a conference. Not as a pitch. Just culture, expression and people connecting in the real world.

This year we’re building on it with live graffiti, music, open mic, exhibitors, kids’ art activities and more room for the curious to come through.

The event is free by design. The Geyser campaign is there to help with the practical side: materials, sound, safety, logistics, signage and making the day run properly.

What if USDT isn't the enemy of Bitcoin, but the thing that gets it everywhere? 🧐

Bear with me:

💵 Tether holds more US Treasuries than most countries. (7th largest buyer globally.) The US government literally benefits from USDT existing.

🥇 They bought more gold in 2025 than every central bank EXCEPT Poland. 70+ tonnes!!!👀 In a Swiss nuclear bunker. I wish I were joking.

⚡ They're funding Lightning, Taproot Assets, RGB...basically, the entire stack that puts USDT on Bitcoin rails.

🌍 In Argentina, Nigeria, and Turkey, people escaping broken currencies aren't buying BTC. They're buying USDT. On Bitcoin infrastructure. Same destination, different on-ramp.

🧠 Tether's own CEO has publicly called USDT a "transitional product" and said Bitcoin will outlast every fiat currency. THINK! This is the man running the dollar stablecoin who is telling you the dollar has an expiry date. ⏳

So like...every time a government prints ➡️ more USDT gets created ➡️ more of it flows through Bitcoin rails ➡️ more infrastructure gets built ➡️ and the exit is ready before anyone realises they need one. 🆘

Not a rug pull, but arguably worse for the USD...🤔

A slow migration, where the replacement gets built with the dollar's own money and deeply flawed system.

Could the RGB protocol and USDT on Bitcoin remove the freeze button entirely? No contract to blacklist. No admin key. No kill switch. Just client-side validation on the most secure network ever built.

The dollar is essentially funding its own replacement rails. 💱

I'm not saying that's what's happening. What I am saying is the pieces do seem to fit uncomfortably well. 🧩

Genius gigabrained strategy or just simple coincidence? Genuinely want to know what people think about this. Do...You...See...It? 👁

#2140Music and hands on tech/dev practice for both personal and professional improvement. Also tempted to join the 2026 Plan B cohort. 🤔 For now, I’ll just be running through the Academy lessons in down time.

Yes, I know a lot already and have loads of experience, but refreshers are good and always room to learn new things in life. Plus I love to see the evolution of structured learning for Bitcoin. It’s part of how we get it normalised to normies. 😁

I’m already doing Bitcoin 24/7 stuff anyways for a number of years. Time to focus even more…continue skilling up, learning and educating. Discovering, experiencing, connecting and building. 😊
