Created a pipeline of 120 videos for my TikTok channel. Most of it is mind-rotting physics simulation content lol... but hey, gotta give people what they want!

My kid’s kindergarten class planted some rice 🌾 earlier in the year and harvested it recently. Cooking it up for tonight’s dinner. Pretty cool to see kids hands on with this sort of thing. They also plant and harvest sweet potatoes and peppers 🫑.

My shorts get 100s to thousands of views already, while long format video has 0. Lol... what a difference! insane.

Also started a TikTok and X account for this app. Here are current stats. I need 1k subscribers and 4k qualifying watch hours to monetize, which might be difficult with shorts alone.

My latest content strategy:

1. Download raw space agency data
2. Have clanker interpret it and discover something new that hasn't been published
3. Turn it into a slop produced video

The amount of stuff people are able to find with OSINT is freaky af!! Went down the rabbit hole partially and it’s terrifying.

My biggest vibe enemy is “good enough”. It’s tempting to let it be, but I have to remind myself that clanker doesn’t have feelings and doesn’t get tired so I can keep pushing it past good enough to perfect.

The term “vibe coding” was coined only last year. Kinda insane how it feels like a decade ago 🤯

If you’re not using Claude Design, you’re missing all of the benefits of LLM designs. It’s by far the best tool out there. Even custom design skills don’t come close.

If you are, ask for 3-5 variations of every screen. Pick 1 from those, and ask for 3 variations of that one.

Another tip: ask for motion design, load and scroll motion, reveals, interactions, on hover interactions that are not generic. Ask it to avoid excessive text, no uppercase text, no serifs unless an article or something.

Do this and you’ll get designs that beat out 99% of top designs in the world.

I've redesigned 80% of the Farbound app. It's going to be nuts! After the content redesign is done I'm going to put a lot more work into the experiences. If people don't get a "WOW!" from an experience, i'm cutting it and replacing with something more amazing.

Something is slowly working... gonna crank up the quality and frequency of these videos!

Man… TikTok is all slop with millions of views. What does it say about humans? It’s not even good slop 😔

I think the key to short format videos is making sure the visuals change fast and you get a constant stream of super interesting condensed information. If visuals slow, people swipe away. Just a guess at this point.

Localized Farbound to 7 languages which may seem small but it’s a lot of work for this huge app.

Opus 5.5 is an absolute beast at everything. If I had to keep one model forever it would be this one. Nothing it can’t handle seemingly.

Another idea I had - epic space music :) get the listeners as well :)
