I think the key to short format videos is making sure the visuals change fast and you get a constant stream of super interesting condensed information. If visuals slow, people swipe away. Just a guess at this point.

Localized Farbound to 7 languages which may seem small but it’s a lot of work for this huge app.

Opus 5.5 is an absolute beast at everything. If I had to keep one model forever it would be this one. Nothing it can’t handle seemingly.

So far I haven’t even bothered putting my apps up in European App Store… not sure that I will.

So much of the software infra today is unprepared for agentic development. App stores are the worst. I mean, all the UI and processes are designed for single app development and updates. Very few are even considering bulk app management, rollout and maintenance. It's a bid strange, considering a person can now ship 10-20 apps in no time.

Working on marketing for my apps. Using Claude to make shorts and videos. Without marketing, it may as well not exist.

Do we need more vlogs or what? What can one talk about that wouldn’t be boring? Or does it always need to be a conversation with others?

I had Claude make some motion animations for me. I think they are kind of funny.. here's the first one:

I see people happy with AI bots but I still can’t get mine to be useful. My baseline for a good bot is to see if it can act as my SEO agency form start to finish and so far every single bot has failed. No matter what type of workflow I set up for them or ask them to set up for themselves, they always get lost and stop working. Or they’ll stop and keep asking for permissions when I explicitly told them they have full autonomy. Or they ignore my directives for quality checks or just stop and don’t do anything at all and then say “you’re right, I stopped” 😂

So… waiting for the day when they actually work autonomously without constant babysitting and corrections.

I’m curious what everyone is making with their ai tools?

Anything useful? Selling? For fun? Exploring what’s possible? Running a business? What are you using AI for???

I made myself an app that scours all local event sites and shows me what’s happening this week and I can sort by nearby or activity type. Nothing major but a nice AI use case that’s actually helpful in day to day life.

I'm a bit sad about my developer friends who are grieving at the loss of enjoyment in their craft ;(

AI is doing this to all professions though, not just programming. Design too. I used to be an OK designer, that is until I admitted that I was never really OK ... it's all relative. I mean... most LLMs still mess up design quite a bit and I'm better than them on many fronts, but the best ones like Claude Design are actually pretty good, better than me by a longshot in some aspects. Truth is, I was never really any good, and I knew it. It took AI to make it super obvious very quickly.

But... I am having a lot of fun making stuff that few if any people will probably use.
