Soundclown’s new terms state…

“"In the absence of a separate agreement that states otherwise, You explicitly agree that your Content may be used to inform, train, develop or serve as input to artificial intelligence or machine intelligence technologies or services as part of and for providing the services."

Not clowning with those clowns.

Is there a Nostr alternative to RedBuddle? Stuck in a CAPTCHA doom loop with them because of VPN so fuck them, they've lost a customer!

I think what I would most appreciate from a new protocol/network would be a means to self host/stream my music and get paid for doing so without a middle entity taking a cut.

Is this something likely to be enabled via Nostr protocol? currently a music maker acts as an advertising vehicle for a network, for example Spotify creates a number of tasks for artists to carry out in order top improve reach but for the most part, this makes Spotify money but not the artist, especially when calculated as an hourly rate.
